A woman's body undergoes significant changes in the weeks and months following the baby's birth. In the post-pregnancy period, a woman's body takes the time to heal from childbirth, rebuild the previous strength and regain the pre-pregnancy toned shape. Here are 5 common sex problems that you may face after pregnancy:

1. Exhaustion: Your body is mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted and not ready for intimacy post pregnancy. Often the quality of sex may not be what you hope for and this can lead to discouragement and apprehension next time. Exhaustion is a common post pregnancy problem and it will eventually ease with time, so being patient can help in the meantime. To not fall out of the habit of intimacy is important for you and your partner to stay connected physically. Self-care exercise can help ease the exhaustion.

2. Physical changes: A woman's body undergoes a lot of physical changes after giving birth to a baby. A body should be given enough time to recover after delivery, whether it is vaginal or C-section. The hormones keep changing dramatically, the uterus shrinks and the C-section wounds continue healing as well. These changes might affect your libido significantly.

3. Breastfeeding burnout: Women experience breastfeeding burnout during this phase as a result of constant nursing, sucking, biting, and tugging on breasts by a baby. The breasts may be sore, become heavy and prone to let downs (during orgasm, which stimulates some of the same hormones as breastfeeding). This can be a major turn-off while having sex with your partner as the breasts are full and achy.

4. Body image issues: The uterus takes two months to return to its pre-pregnancy size and meanwhile you can still look pregnant. Gaining weight is also natural during this period. While some women lose weight quickly for others it takes a longer period to lose pregnancy weight. Also, stretch marks, scars, and bigger feet make you feel body conscious which has a negative impact on your sex life.

As you are young and so there is still chances of gaining height. There are methods by which you can gain some centimetres of height. 1. The height of body is largely depend on the length of your spine (vertebral column or back bone in general language). So you have to add the exercise of stretching of spine daily in morning. Here are the exercises! * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Bone growth depends upon the adequate intake of calcium rich diet. So take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Vitamin d play very important role in bone growth. So sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are notso strong. 4. The growth and height is controlled by growth hormone which is secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. For meditation, listen toslow and spiritual music, take long breaths for 15-20 minutes everyday. It makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

Recommend - home made face packs. Papaya face pack, honey lemon face pack, turmeric face pack etc its not easy to become white within one week, you need to take a proper treatment for this, there is no hard and fast treatment for tan removal. Berberis aquafolium - q, 15 drops mixed with luke warm water and apply on affected part.

I'm regularly doing exercise and dieting too. I have loss my weight 14 kgs so I'm happy with this but I want to increase muscle bulk of my body so which food should I prefer and in which quantity?

Hi lybrate-user 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

A) take 30 ml of fresh LEMON JUICE, GINGER JUICE and 15ml of honey along with lukewarm water early in the morning on empty stomach. B) eat 1 TSF of AJOVA SEEDS along with 1 TSF of jiggery after meals. D) take 2-2 tablets of CHITRAKADI VATI and LEELAVILAS RASA after meals…do all these things for 30 days…it gives you good result. constipation is easily manageable through a prescribed diet. I will prescribe a high fiber diet customized to your case. Do avoid over-the-counter laxatives. Increasing exercise is also important if you lead a sedentary lifestyle. For stubborn constipation in I may recommend a non-digestible sugar called lactulose or specially formulated electrolyte solutions. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I am 70 years old suffering from diabetes for last 20 years and hypothyroid. My h1bac is 6.1. I have undergone angioplasty in jan, 2010. My lipids and kft & lft are normal. I am suffering from unbearable pain, numbness and tingling in my feet. My nerves of feet get stretched and it appears that there is some padding at the bottom of feet. I am generally constipated and taking triphla at night. I find difficulty in walking fast and long distances as I feel weakness in thighs. I am on allopathic medicines for diabetes and heart problem. Please advise. .

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user, well your son is having chronic allergy, frequent cold and redness of eyes with frequent eye rubbing are the symptoms. Chronic allergy is quite commonly seen these days and this is seen frequently in your son's age group. Don't worry about it but this problem continues for long and you have to be vigilant to get him treated properly everytime. He has to use glasses everytime as this will help with his eyesight as well as keep dust n other allergens away from eyes. Wash his eyes every time he comes home from outside. Start with some immunity booster preprations and multivitamin supplements along with antihistamines. Take care.

It should be 4000-11000/cubic mm of blood Less than 4000 means you are body's immunity is low and you are prone to infection

Dear lybrate user, *do not take more stress. *practice yoga, breathing exercise, meditation to relax and detoxification. *do proper sleep of 6-7 hours. * add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs. *apply and massage your scalp with mahabringaraj taila for 10-15 minutes/day, it increases blood circulation and enhance hair growth. *avoid hair colors. * take vitamin-e rich foods like dry fruits (almonds, pista etc) daily. * take 1/2 teaspoon of amla powder with water once a day. *avoid more salt, dry, maida related junk foods. *avoid more coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking.
