I had a habit of eating sand pot I don't what it's exactly called in english but in india we call it *matka* and cement from wall. My family doctor said I had calcium deficiency that's why then after sometimes I stopped and then again started when I was around 16 years old and stopped again now I started again I mean I crave it I really don't wanna eat it but can't resist. What to do? And is it harmful to me? Please help.

Hi, Take medicine RITE-HITE (SBL) 4tabs to be chewed twice a day ,1/2 an hour before meals. Do pranayam,Suryanamaskar daily. Do swimming and stretching exercises daily .Do this regularly as you have a better chance of growth till 25yrs of age.

Hello, Milk,sadly is not the only source of complete nutrition. Milk also lacks in a lot of vital nutrients. You should ensure you need to have something with it like oats or may some other porridge. Eating single food for a particular meal can simply make you deficient in other vital nutrients.

Hello. Gently move the razor on these areas. Medication: start immediately with homoeopathic medication - sulphur 200/ one dose daily in the morning for a week and a homoeopathic tincture called arnica montana and mix 1 tsp in 1/2 cup of water and apply upon the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor movement technique as in 1 above. Repeat the above process every 3rd day and see the growth in 1 month. Take a red mushroom called ganoderma 5 gms. 2 times per day at 12 hours interval for 3 months.

Hello. Redness of the eye is one of the most prevalent problems observed. Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. It occurs with symptoms of pricking, itching, irritation, watering, foreign body sensation and discomfort. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. Thus, eye hygiene remains the principal modality of treatment along with eye drops as a supplement. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. There may occur associated pain and sensation of itching, pricking, watering and discomfort. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic because it would require immediate removal from the eye and appropriate therapy. (4) raised eye pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the covering layers of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. The redness in this case tends to be deep dark and usually occurs only in one portion of the eye. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily). Also, you might require a complete eye evaluation in order to rule out other causes. This would be possible only by examining your eyes in person. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.

Yes sex can be practice during pregnancy. After 5 months of pregnancy one needs to change the position of male partner. Intercourse can be practiced in male standing position or sideways position. Male partner should not lie on the tummy or growing fetus.

It is very common to have back pain after Delivery. Moving around may be just what your body needs. Exercises to strengthen your abdominal muscles and increase flexibility may be helpful too. Choose a gentle form of exercise, such as walking. Walking is safe to start almost immediately after Delivery. Take it slowly and keep walks short in the first few weeks. (Swimming, which helps strengthen your muscles without putting undue stress on your joints, is another good option later on.) Make pelvic tilts exercises a part of your daily routine. Do gentle stretching exercises or yoga. Avoid overstretching or extreme positions. Pay attention to your posture and stand up straight. Sit up straight, too. Think about your posture when feeding your baby, whether you're nursing or bottle-feeding. If you have low back pain, try using a footstool to keep your feet slightly raised off the floor. Choose a comfortable chair with armrests, and use lots of pillows to give extra support to your back and arms. Always bend from your knees and lift objects and children from a crouching position to minimize the stress on your back. Let someone else lift heavy objects – this isn't the time to risk throwing your back out. (If you've had a c-section, you shouldn't be lifting anything heavier than your baby for at least eight weeks.). Best wishes.

It can help you turn keys, open food packages, and use the gas pump more easily. • Pinch a soft foam ball or some putty between the tips of your fingers and your thumb. • Hold for 30 to 60 seconds. • Repeat 10 to 15 times on both hands. Do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Its common problem of newly weds. Male and female differ widely in terms of of sexual responses, male gets quickly aroused and female takes longer time to get aroused, male reaches climax quickly, its physilogical and normal, but not ideal, to prolong sex duration man has to work hard, he has to slow down mentally, by diverting mind from situation, and learn ways how to delay his reflexes. One idea is to stimulate the partner by foreplay to near orgasm sate and pentrate. Count number of strokes if it is less than 45plus minus 15. Means (30 to 60) then seek medical advice. If satisfied ok otherwise consult privately.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.
