When the pain gets relieved by a belch, it indicates air lock in the stomach. Ensure that you are not belching willingly in an attempt to get relief from pain because the same act of belching draws some air in to stomach and becomes cause of pain. This is called Aerophagy. If that is the case, please resist the act of belching. Eat high fiber diet. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid high fat fried food.

MBBS
General Physician,
I am suffering a problem of chronic disease of higher acidity how can I relief from this problem?
You are having hyperacidity. You should have antacid like milk is a good antacid. Take milk several times a day. Because empty stomach secrets more acid by stomach. Normally one should get dewarming done at least once a year. If not six monthly. Hyperacidity takes place due to infestation of warms like hook warms, round warms. Tape warms etc.

Eat small meals. Instead of 3 big meals, have 5 small meals every 3-4 hours. Eat slowly. Don’t sleep on a full stomach. Try to have an early dinner. Make sure there is a gap of 3 hours between your last meal and bed time. Wear loose-fitting clothes. Avoid certain known foods which cause acidity like, coffee, tea, colas, and citrus fruits, oily and spicy food. If your weight is high – losing a few kilos will reduce acidity too. Keep a gap of 2 hours between exercise and meals. Drink at least 3 litres of water every day. Try meditation and yoga to minimise daily stress.

Sir I am suffering from gb stones from last three years. More pain is occurred in my left side. Please suggest me suggestions.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, take Berberis vulgaris Q, 15 drops with water thrice daily. Take Cholesterinum 3X , 2 tabs twice daily. Home remedies :- 1. The acidic nature of apple cider vinegar stops the liver from making cholesterol that is responsible for forming the most common type of gallstones. It also plays a key role in dissolving gallstones and alleviating pain. Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of apple juice. Drink it whenever you have a gallstone attack. This will significantly ease the pain within 15 minutes. you can add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of lemon juice to a glass of warm water. Drink it on an empty stomach in the morning. Doing this regularly for weeks can dissolve gallstones and prevent pain. 2. Pears can also provide relief from gallstone pain and other symptoms. The compound pectin present in pears helps soften cholesterol-filled gallstones, which in turn get flushed out of your body easily. Mix half a glass of pear juice with half a glass of hot water. Mix in two tablespoons of honey. Drink this juice three times a day for two weeks. peel and de-seed some pears. Cut the pears in small pieces and cook them in water for about 20 minutes. Eat a bowl of the warm cooked pears twice daily for two weeks. All of the following are healthy foods for your gallbladder, as well as the rest of your body:- Fresh fruits and vegetables Whole grains (whole-wheat bread, brown rice, oats, bran cereal) Lean meat, poultry, and fish Low-fat dairy products.

Their is something new I hav heard recently. Is their something called throat acidity.
Acid Reflux in lay man language is known as Throat acidity. Acid reflux, also known as heartburn, is the hallmark symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). GERD is a condition in which the muscle at the end of the esophagus is too loose or doesn’t close properly, allowing acid (and food particles) from the stomach to rise back up into the esophagus.

Dear user we can very well understand your concern for indigestion. Please try to understand that indigestion is more of life style issue than anatomical. It is advisable if you can start exercising on a regular basis along with high fibre diet and liberal fluid intake. Digeplex basically contains digestive enzymes. Though this is quite a safe medicine but it is advisable that it should be consumed only under the prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Hope that solves your query. Anything more then feel free to revert.
