Dear Labrate user, you are suffering from productive cough and taking cough syrup given by the chemist. Firstly if this cough is of short duration 3-4 day and not associated with fever and other symptom then it's ok. Otherwise you need thorough checkup.

I am suffering from cough nd throating from past few weeks what should I do to cure my jammed throat.

I am suffering from cough nd throating from past few weeks what should I do to cure my jammed throat.
The best medicine I can suggest you is one of the simplest home remedies for a cough is to cut onions. Breathing in the strong vapors can help stop coughing. You can also make a cough syrup from baked onion juice, comfrey tea and honey. Drink it daily to get relief from a dry cough. Another option is to combine one-half teaspoon of onion juice with one teaspoon of pure honey. Swallow this solution at least twice a day to alleviate a cough and soothe your throat.

Dear lybrate-user, if your asthma is triggered by tension you should consult a chest specialist (pulmonologist). Dengue causes high fever, rashes, head ache diarrhoea vomitings. Or some of the above mentioned symptoms. The diagnosis is made by doing some blood tests. There are no specific symptoms of dengue. It is a viral fever. If any body gets high fever and feels very ill he should see a doctor who will make a correct diagnosis.

DNB (ENT), MBBS

Hi Polyps are known to recur even after surgery. Especially if post operative nasal steroid sprays are not taken regularly. It is recommended that you get yourself evaluated by an ent to see if the polyps have recurred. In the mean time use solspre nasal spray, 2 puffs in both nasal cavities, 3-5 times a day for 3 weeks.
