I am 55 year old female. I am suffering from throat pain for two months. My voice reduces. What should I do?
Hello for throat pain you should do warm water gargling 3-4 times a day, avoid oily and curds. If there has been a voice change you likely might have had infection of your voice box we call it laryngitis. You have to give voice rest and do steam inhalation. If still persists need medications

How to protect myself from swine flu and viral fever and treatment for swine flu and viral fever.

How to protect myself from swine flu and viral fever and treatment for swine flu and viral fever.
Hello, We all get exposed to the same environment, but all of us doesn't get affected by it! Why - because of different immune system. So, if a person has a strong immune system, we are protected from the attack of any virus or bacteria! A healthy, nutritious and balanced diet along with exercise will give you that. A healthy and strong immune system prevents us getting any diseases even a simple cough and cold. So, to build up a strong immunity, you need to alter few changes in your daily routine. If you don't have any underlying medical condition, you can follow the below points for healthy living. The diet plays an important role in making our immune system stronger: 1.Get enough protein. You can get protein from meat, dairy, eggs and vegetables. 2.Avoid saturated fats, but eat plenty of unsaturated fats. These "good fats" are found in corn, sesame, safflower, soybean, and cottonseed oils. 3.Eat limited amounts of carbohydrates. Consuming appropriate amounts of wheat, corn, and cereals helps to create the energy required for the body to produce white blood cells. 4.There are a number of particular foods that can help to boost-up your immunity. These include: Garlic, Almonds, Kale, Navy beans, Reishi mushrooms, Blueberries and raspberries, Yogurt, Green, Matcha, and Tulsi teas. 4.Eat antioxidants. Antioxidants are vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that help repair damaged cells in the body. Examples of antioxidants are Beta Carotene (apricots, broccoli, beets, spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, corn, and carrots), Vitamins C ( berries, broccoli, nectarines, oranges, strawberries, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cauliflower) and E (broccoli, carrots, nuts, papaya, spinach, and sunflower seeds), Zinc (oysters, red meat, beans, nuts, and seafood), and Selenium. 5.Vitamin A is also an antioxidant, and helps your immune system to function more efficiently. In addition to supplements, you can get vitamin A from carrots, tomatoes, chilis, and squash. 6.Echinacea, ginseng, aloe vera, and green tea are all said to boost your white blood cell count. 7.Exercise regularly. Getting enough exercise improves your cardiovascular health, and greatly reduces the likelihood of certain chronic diseases.. Exercise increases the flow of blood through different parts of the body, and it increases the body's excretion of harmful metabolites, helping your immune system function properly. So run, bike, swim, walk -- whatever gets you moving! 8.Stop smoking and Limit alcohol consumption. 9.You should drink 8 glasses of water every day. 10.Sufficient deep sleep also helps the cells replenish and regenerate and is therefore necessary if you want to maintain a healthy immune system. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alpha-WD/ twice daily for 1month. Treatment: In homoeopathy, there are few medicines which are used for treating the viral fever and swine flu (like Eup. Perf., Bry., Influenzinum, Rhus Tox., etc.).

I am 47 years old. I'm a BP patient and I do consume alcohol. I'm observing that my hands tend to shake. For instance, when I'm having my food with right hand they shake and even my head shakes a little when I'm in anger or during adrenaline. First I thought of not asking this question because I found it a little embarrassing but I'm posting this question because my kids and my wife observed it. Please help.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, your problem is quite common in cases of long standing addiction of alcohol. You need to stop taking alcohol immediately. However I can understand that is not so easy to quit such an addiction. It will need a lot of will power to abstain yourself from alcohol. Here I am stating few rules which will effectively help you. Firstly:- reduce the amount of alcohol you consume daily. Secondly:- do not drink alcohol too quickly. A 30 ml peg of alcohol needs upto 30 minutes to get absorbed in our body. Third:- mix 60 drops of homoeopathic mother tincture acid sulph q in the water with which you will prepare your peg. Follow the aforesaid rules daily. Within 15 days your craving for alcohol will be reduced.

Hi, Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. Management: Here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: Keep your bedroom cool and dark Put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime Stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends Stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals Skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: Take Schwabe's Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos./ once daily at night for 1month.

I have urge to masturbate and cannot control it before watching a porn and ejaculating it daily? How can I prevent it. What are health issues related to it? Please help.

I have urge to masturbate and cannot control it before watching a porn and ejaculating it daily? How can I prevent it...
Remove all the sources that trigger the urge to perform the act of masturbation such as block the websites which allows access to pornographic content. Try to avoid staying up until late night. Avoid taking hot showers which may also trigger the urge to perform masturbation. Getting socially active is one of the important factors for controlling and quitting masturbation, as living alone promotes the activity of masturbation especially if a person is heartbroken with his relationship. Getting in a social group fills up the leisure time so that the person can optimally control such thoughts. One of the most important things is to try not to touch the intimate part of the body. To ensure this, spend more time in good company and not alone. If any other friend is also experiencing the issues, then it is always a good idea to quit the relationship or friendship. Masturbation also results due to excessive body stress or tension. Exercising regularly helps in relieving the body stress and tension. It is recommended to increase or double the exercise when a person feels depressed or stressed. Try to make the body to adapt abstinence. Initially try not to perform masturbation for a day, then gradually moves to days then weeks. A homoepath can help in finding if there are some underlying causes that entice you to perform masturbation so regularly. If there is some cause then appropriate treatment can be sought.
