First of all pls don't take supplements as it only have side-effects. If you want to gain weight try out some natural tips like-be physically active, have proper diet, also have ghee and banana shake daily it will hlp you in gainning weight and if you r non vegetarian then have 2 eggs daily. Or weekly have chicken nd fish. These are some natural ways to gain weight pls try these instead of taking supplements. I assure you these tips will give you desriable weight you want. If your body constitution is of a lean and thin nature then you need to relax a bit and have patience. General fitness is important than a bulky particular muscle group. Do not compare your body with others who have a well built body. Do not overeat as it can later lead to other complication. Still if you are not satisfied with your progress than go for an expert opinion ( certified fitness trainer along with medical fitness from a doctor ) and follow the instructions in a slow and study manner without taking shortcuts which can harm your body later on.

Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. Your weight is controlled by 4 major factors (1) refined sugar consumption (2) exercise and hydration (3) posture and sitting (4) how many times do you indulge yourself - alcohol, binge eating at parties, overeating etc. Step 01: refined sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: improve posture and sitting habits if you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ml of hard liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. Try to eliminate the urge to overeat but if you do overeat try to limit the incidents to two times per week. 3. Eat 4 servings of fruits per day. 4. Each of your meal should contain 50% of raw vegetables. Once you incorporate the above points in your routine you will see a dramatic difference in your weight, physical shape and energy levels. You will find that there are a lot of companies out there that are trying to sell expensive products to naive consumers in the name of weight loss. These products may not necessarily be good for you. Losing and maintaining weight is something which is totally in your hands, it is easy and it is free of cost if you follow the above mentioned points.

Hi, do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight, include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.

For all those who want to put on weight are suggested to keep distance from junk foods which are not healthy for the body, since they are surely going add weight to the body but at the same time they also are said to add bad fat to the body. Go only with the foods which are said to increase nutrient intake for the body and provide with sufficient energy, some of these foods have been listed below for simplicity: salmon tuna paneer soya beans soya paneer-tofu eggs shrimps granola bars cheese paneer yoghurt walnuts dates apricots anjeer raisins nuts and oil seeds peanut butter chicken breast gaining weight is not an excuse to get fat and schedule daily visits to all-you-can buffets. I suggest you begin implementing one principle each week and watch your body stack on more muscle to your frame each week.

Dear, the most common causes of weakness are * anemia * metabolic disorder (diabetes, hypothyroidism) * breathing problems (asthma, sinusitis) *digestion problems (diarrhea, gestric ulcers) * cervical spondylosis first check out your haemoglobin (hb), if your hb is low, then eat a lot of green vehetables and iron rich foods like apple, guava, sapotas (cheeku, beet root and oranges. Takeiron suppliments for increase in hb. If your hb level is normal then your all parts of body get adequate level of oxygen. 2. Take deep breaths atleast for 10-15 minutes twice a day. 3. Check out the blood sugar fasting in every 6 months. If blood sugar level, then take proper medicines for high sugar level. 4. In thyroid disorder, there is a feeling of weakness and tiredness. Check out your thyroid profile, if you feel tired even after the proper deit and medicines and take treatment. 5. In the morning, do medication regulary, do pranayam atleast for 5 -10 minute. It will make your hormones level normal.

Hello lybrate-user, you need to increase your protein intake in diet, such as milk, pulses, grams, etc. On top of that, you can also start taking protein powder too and start going to gym or swimming. I need to know which is more harmful, a cigarette or bidi. I smoke daily one cigrate except Saturday Sunday because I don't like smoking at home on my offs and also my body does not ask for it so much that I have to take it like many people have great urge. But somehow I feel I should not quit it because one cigrate everyday gives me enjoyment and since I am having only one I feel I can go with it, not so serious. If bidi is not harmful than cigrate I wonder if it will be a good move to switch over it as I don't smoke publicly so can use it. Please educate me.
