I am facing from pain in my legs due to long walking and and also long sitting but it happens some time.
Hi. Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? any underlying medical condition? the pain in legs can be because of - muscle cramps (due to tiredness or dehydration), shin splints (doing activity over and over on hard surfaces can bring this on. You may also be more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Rest your legs to feel better. Ice helps), tendinitis (you can get it from overworking the calf muscle or climbing the stairs, apply ice to get some relief), sprains (do rest, ice, compression & elevation). Other causes are varicose veins, arterial disease, sciatica, diabetic neuropathy. Medication: meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Laser Hair Removal - Things You Must Know!

Laser Hair Removal - Things You Must Know!

Body hair are typically seen as a manly attribution. For this reason, both men and women are constantly trying to keep their body hair free. Common ways of removing body hair includes shaving, waxing and the use of Depilatories. However, none of these techniques can permanently remove hair and hence need to be repeated regularly. The only way to permanently remove body hair is through laser hair removal therapy.

Laser hair removal can be used to address and remove hair on almost any part of the body including the face, arms, legs and bikini line. This procedure involves focusing intense light on the hair follicle pigments known as melanin without affecting the surrounding skin. The melanin absorbs this light energy and converts it to heat energy which in turn stops the stem cells in the hair roots from regenerating. This weakens the hair follicles to the point of falling off.

Hair removal is considered permanent when the hair follicles do not grow back. After the first session, new hair growth is often lighter and less dense than before. On an average, complete hair removal may require 5 to 6 laser sessions. Since laser therapy can be used to address only those follicles that are in the growing stage, these sessions are usually spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. During this time the hair follicles that were in the resting phase can grow out. The number of sessions required also depends on the quality and number of hair follicles, individual’s hormone levels, and metabolism. In some cases where hair growth is very dense, maintenance treatment may be required once in six months or annually.

The procedure is relatively pain free. During the treatment, the patient may experience a faint prick or sensation of warmth. When treating sensitive areas, topical anesthesia may also be used. However, this is rarely needed. This form of laser therapy can take anywhere between 5 to 45 minutes for a single session depending on the amount of area being addressed.

Laser hair removal is considered a safe procedure and has minimal side effects. In some cases, it may cause a temporary change in the color of the skin of the treated area, but this usually resolves itself without medication. This can be prevented by using a good sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection and avoiding exposure to sunlight. In rare cases, people with a dark complexion may develop blisters and experience swelling and redness of the skin. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a cosmetic physician.

Hello, hair glands in the scalp are supposed to produce oil that helps keep your hair moisturized but when they start producing too much oil; you get an oily scalp and greasy hair. 1. Avoid oiling regularly. 2. Use a shampoo made for oily hair. 3. Do not use hair gels. 4. Reduce stress 5. Take two tablespoons of white vinegar and add half a cup of water and apply to your scalp. Wash after 30 minutes. Don't comb too much, when you brush your hair, you take the oil from the scalp to the hair strands.

As per your age, you are facing premature greying of hair. Causes are different. It can be hereditary, nutritional, thyroid, long term anaemic condition etc. These are few causes but there are many more. Nutritional support to hair can be increased by eating iron rich food. Drink 3 lit of water on daily basis. Milk and milk products are also good support to hair. Colouring grey hair might increase the problem so try to avoid it. Treatment is available for it. Consult for the same. Have a great hair day.

Hair turned grey merely due to less or no production of melanin. Each hair has a separate melanin supply in the body. Medical Conditions leading to gray hair-
1.Thyroid Disease: An underactive or overactive thyroid can affect the melanin production in the hair which can cause premature greying
2.B12 Deficiency: Deficiency of B12 has also been linked to premature greying of hair.
First we have to rule out any such condition ,for permanent cure you can go for constitutional homoeopathic treatment which will take your detailed symptoms into account. FOR COMPLETE CURE U CAN CLICK ON CONSULT OPTION . Grind sesame seeds and mix it in almond oil. Apply this on your scalp for few weeks as it will help in preventing your hair from turning white. According to experts, it can also help in reversing the process. Your hair will turn black if you use this solution. This combination works really well! Make sure to grind the sesame seeds properly. After applying this combination on your hair and scalp, you should leave it for about 20-30 minutes. Wash off with plain water. Say goodbye to white hair and say a big hello to a young you. Homoeopathy is very unique treating system and does not favour the use of cream, lotions, waxing and other methods used for the removal of unwanted hair. As mentioned above, the facial hair and other excessive hair growth is due to certain imbalance in the body. The homoeopath believes in activating the body?s own immune system to treat all types of diseases. The names of diseases are meaningless in homoeopathy. The homoeopathy treats the patient, keeping in view the totality of symptoms. So i need to know about your physical, mental and emotional levels to prescribe a perfect medicine. In the meantime you can take Oleum jac. 3X, 2 tabs twice daily.

No 1: Rotator Cuff Isometrics Most of these shoulders have quite high pain levels for the first few weeks and we know that isometrics are great for reducing pain (source) and they do produce some significant forces and tension in the cuff, so can be thought of beginning the needed loading program. There are lots of variations and I don't think it matters too much how you do them, it's more important how hard and how much you do them, more on this in a bit. The isometric exercises I usually give are a'Back of the hand Wall Press' used when I suspect a more superior cuff tendinopathy, it's done simply by standing next to a wall and pressing the back of the hand into the wall in the scapular plane (called Scaption) at approx 30° of abduction.

Why Do Women Face Joint Pain Problems More than Men?

MD - Anaesthesiology
Anesthesiologist, Delhi
Why Do Women Face Joint Pain Problems More than Men?

Joint pain refers to discomfort, aches, and soreness in any of the body's joints. Arthritis is a frequent cause of joint pain. The two main forms of arthritis, which may cause joint pain, are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In fact, arthritis affects over 180 million people in India, with most of them being under the age of 25, and women in the age bracket of 20-40 being most severely affected by rheumatoid arthritis. Other common causes of joint pain are bursitis, lupus, gout, infection of the bone, cancer, and rickets.

Women face the problem of joint pain mostly because of menopause. Estrogen reduction during menopause very often means a bone loss that puts women at risk for osteoporosis. It is the thinning of the bone that dramatically increases the risk of fracture in women. Fractures due to osteoporosis affect about half of the women over 50.

Osteoporosis is a silent problem but osteoarthritis makes itself known. It causes achy joints, which can be very painful. Osteoarthritis results from the loss of cartilage in a joint, which causes the bones to rub together, eventually damaging the joint.

Joints, which experience high impacts such as hips and knees, tend to be most affected by menopausal arthritis. Hands and fingers can also be affected. Dehydration in women can also cause joint pain because of a buildup of uric acid, which can cause inflammation in the joints.

How can you as a woman prevent joint pain?

  • It is important to reduce the pressure of repetitive strain. Some exercises such as yoga and swimming are beneficial for strengthening your muscles and joints without exerting too much pressure on them.
  • Diet can have a positive influence on your joint health too. Fruits and vegetables have properties, which reduce inflammation (such as tomatoes, olive oil, and green, leafy vegetables to name a few). Having a balanced diet will not only help you with many menopause symptoms but will keep your weight in check, thereby preventing obesity and consequently joint pain.
