Regular exercise or any activity, and a healthy diet (low calorie but high in fibre) helps one stay fit. You can take proteinex every evening if you do atleast half an hour of brisk walk/play sports etc.

I do not know how to reply to this. Even under expert supervision, 1000 jumps are not recommended ever. Exercise judiciously. Please understand that you didn't gain all this fat in a day; therefore do not try to lose it in a day.

Rice carbs are bad; rice is not good for diabetics; rice has fat and causes weight gain- these are sadly some of the myths that most people believe.
There are a few things that you must first know about rice.
Rice contains negligible fat.
Rice is easy on the gut, eases bowel movement and rids you of bloating.
Rice has starch, about 10%, but understand that starch is a source of energy for the body and energy is essential for the body.
Rice keeps your skin fresh.
Rice, when eaten with dal/sabzi/meat/dahi, etc reduces the sugar increasing property of the meal and that is good for diabetics.
It has essential amino acids, which when consumed with dal or dahi, for example, completes the amino acid profile. Thus for a vegetarian even rice with dal or dahi can become a complete protein food.
Rice is carbohydrates so most people are told to avoid it in dinner. No food should be viewed in isolation considering a single nutrient from it. Rice has essential nutrients and carbs are essential for our body and have a calming effect, therefore great as a dinner option.
Rice has fat burning properties.
Eat the rice that is, hand pounded or single polished and which is pale whitish and you don't need to opt for brown rice.
So, let go off your fear or guilt of eating rice or for that matter any food that you have grown up eating. Eat it as much as your body needs, in the right amount and your body will never let it go wrong. Eating rice should make you feel happy. Is that not what eating food should give you- happiness.

I recently gained back all the fat I've lost so far in the 2 months that I've been exercising. Is that normal? I've been using Shaun T's focus t25 to exercise. So I exercise 25 mins a day and I have been avoiding junk food. So I don't know what's the problem. It's just frustrating that I've been working so hard to get to where I want to be and this happens.

Hi. As I see it, the core problem with following such hyped program as you mentioned, is that you tend to think that just 25-30 mins workout will solve all your problems in one go. Also when you follow such over. Rated programs your diet becomes too calorie rich in the hope that shaun. Workout will take care of all issues. 1. Any hiit workout is good. 2. Variety creates more challenge for body. 3.30 mins is not sufficient for weight loss despite all those promises. 4. In your case you need to do 60+30 - total 90 mins a day. 5.25, mins workout can at max burn about 300 cals which is about a tea+ samosa worth cals. 6. Start jogging apart from workouts. 7. Monitor your calories with myfitnesspal app. 8" there is no failure, there is only feedback" 9. Look for different solutions if one is not working. 10. Never give up.

Dexona is a steroid and after stopping it he would definitely loose his weight and it decrease the function of bone marrow and in near future he can suffer from diabetes and I will suggest you to never take it and for a healthy weight gain Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Few tips to lose weight are as below: 1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week.

The most important is to control blood sugar levels. Uncontrolled diabetes will lead to painful feet. You can also have vit. D levels checked.

HI 1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 2) sleep upto 10-10.30 pm, 3) avoid coffee and tea, A) Eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jiggery during meals, B) Take 200 ml of fresh butter milk with pinch of saindhav lavan after meals, C) take 30 ml of aamla juice along with 15 ml of honey in morning on empty stomach, D) take fresh juice of beet or pomegranate in morning instead of breakfast, E) do yoga and anuloma-viloma pranayam regularly for 20-30 minutes do all these things for 15 days…gives you good result…THANKS.

My dear lybrate user. Your body weight is much more than normal. So it is very evident that you will not not get your desired result from the prevailing fat reducing methods. It seems that you must have some underlying cause behind this heavy weight. Unless you give a detailed description of your laboratory test reports, it is very tough to assess the proper cause behind your bulimia. I would suggest you to check your thyroid profile and lipid profile at an early date.

Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Food is the fuel your body gets its energy from. A healthy, well-balanced diet keeps your body healthy and energized, raising your stamina. Try to eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. For long-lasting energy, we also recommend having up to a third of your diet be composed of starches and carbohydrates (whole wheat varieties are preferable). To keep your body steadily supplied with energy throughout get energy by eating several smaller meals throughout the day rather than one or two large meals. Snack on fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and other lean proteins between meals.

You feel lack of energy. I advise you to do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids.

Avoid nighttime snacks and snacking infront of TV. Divide 1 junk meal to several mini-­‐meal per day. Incorporate healthy protein to your meals Avoid high carb or empty calorie foods like fast food such as grilled, canned, cookies, candys and junk foods Never skip breakfast-­‐skipping breakfast will make you hungry later. Opt for healthy morning meal like high fiber cereal, low fat milk and fruit Include fiber to your diet –oatmeal, fruits and fiber rich vegetables. Sleep: If you are sleep deprived, your body over produces appetite stimulating hormones ghrelin and under produces hormone leptin which tells you when you are full. Drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day, also include herbal teas. Avoid carbonated drinks such as fizzy drinks. Reduce the levels of stress. Weigh yourself once a week and track your weight and maintain a proper food diary Juice of 1 green apple, 1 beet and 2 medium carrots daily.
