Drinking water immediately after eating is it cause for excess storage of fat in stomach.
Drinking water after meals inhibits the juices and enzymes in your intestine to mix with food and do proper digestion. So drink water ideally after 60-90 minutes.

Hye. Summer can drain you of energy and cause tiredness. A healthy and balanced diet is essential, especially in the summer. The summer heat deprives our body of all the energy. Excessive perspiration in summer results in dehydration. Rehydration is essential irrespective of the activity levels and thirst pangs. Liquids at very cold temperatures should be avoided. Increased consumption of very cold liquids, results in the constriction of the blood vessels. This in turn reduces the loss of heat which is essential in summers. Holy basil seeds/ tulsi seeds added to water or fruit juices proves an effective cooling drink for the summers. Soft drinks contain added sugar, preservatives and colors. Therefore fresh fruit juices without added sugar are preferred in summers. Fried foods, such as french fries, potato patties, chips, samosa, wada pav should be restricted thereby reducing the thermal effect of fat. A light and healthy meal will make you feel comfortable. Avoid very spicy foods. Whole fresh fruits supply a good amount of water, in addition to minerals and vitamins. A bountiful supply of vegetables and fresh fruits are beneficial. Lemon juice, barley water, butter milk and tender coconut water are the best sources of hydration.

Hyperglycemia is another term for high blood sugar. It is normal to have a spike in blood sugar after a meal, but chronically high blood sugar causes severe health issues. When we consume healthy sources of carbohydrates with plenty of good fat and protein, the glucose from the meal enters our blood in a slowly, and the pancreas responds by secreting a measured amount of insulin. Insulin shuttles the right amount of glucose into the cells and it is used for energy. There is not excess insulin running around in the blood stream to promote inflammation. We avoid “sugar highs” and “sugar lows” with balanced blood sugar throughout the day. We can easily go 3 hours or more between eating without experiencing sugar cravings or feeling shaky, irritable or tired. Since blood sugar imbalances perpetuate inflammation, stable blood sugar reduces inflammation and helps balance hormones. Because stable blood sugar means no sugar or carb cravings, even stubborn weight starts to melt away with balanced blood sugar levels.

Try to manage your time and get at least 1 hour in a day to involve in some physical exercises like walking, jogging, yoga and pranayam. you are young it would be great if you could take out some time for sports like football or badminton where you could sweat. make a habit of surya pranayam doing every morning, empty stomach, avoid late night dinners, sugar and processed food, try to do very light dinner. if its possible not to eat anything after sunset it would be great. once a week eat only fruits to give a rest to your digestion. start eating triphla chooran in morning empty stomach, it will be a natural medicine to lose weight.

It is generally noticed that the people who fast for long hours (self dieting), tend to put on more weight because their body start storing even carbs. To loose with heathy food like eat every 3 hours in moderate amounts, a combination of more fibre, whole grains, sprouts, legumes, salads, 3-4 cups green tea, 1 fist dry fruits to have virgin fats, limit aerated & sugary beverages, junk foods, fast foods etc. And exercise for 45 min including yoga especially kapal bharti - 15 min every day. Dear lybrate user. At first you have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. A) take food two times in a day only. B) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals. C) avoid late night sleeping habits. D) avoid oily, junk, fast and fermented foods. E) don't drink water before meal for one hour and don't drink water after meals for one hour. F) do yogasan and pranayam regularly. G) walk upto 4-5 kilometres daily. Thanks.

Hyena. Yes, in needed amounts pure ghee is healthy as a part of a healthy. It has to be incorporated into your daily healthy diet and not just exclusively be depended on for it's benefits. Better to buy organic pure cow's ghee. Avoid dalda and vanaspati.

Hello, tips to for healthy diet in summers:- eat 5 - 6 meals, increase the intake of fresh fruits, try to start your day with fruits and if possible take only fruits in breakfast. Take watermelon, pears, apples, plums and pineapple. Prefer light lunch, increase water intake.

Hello, if you want to put on weight burn less and consume more in a nutritious way. 1. Eat 4 servings of fruit per day where two being in juice form (fresh juice not canned or bottled) 2. Eat quality protein from lean cuts if meat, egg, legumes, beans, pulses and milk 3. Use mixture of complex and simple grains like white rice+ brown rice. 4. Eat healthy fats from nuts and cold pressed filtered oils than refined oils. 5. Focus on exercising your muscles with weights. Hope this helps you. Stay healthy stay fit.
