Dear Eat anything except junk food. Have fresh fruits? potatoes in your meal. Keep your meals on time. Drink milk with a protein supplement. Do some exercises.

Do brisk walk daily atleast 1 hr. Take luke warm water with lemon juice nd aloe vera juice alternatives days. Take luke warm water before nd after meal. Take papaya. Take high fiber diet. Include salad and buttermilk in your diet.

Hi, I am a 26 year old IT professional.My weight is 65 Kg and height 5'5. I want to loose 10 Kgs.Last month I tried and lost 5 Kg but again I had put on the weight inspite of diet.My diet include warm water with lemon in early morning , 2 rotis in mid morning , 3 buscuits at 11.30,2rotis at lunch, 3 to 4 buscuits and chai at 4, and 2 rotis and chai for dinner at 7.30. In between whole day I have warm water. In morning I do kapal bharti for 2 mins and 10 minutes tummy exercise.I need to reduce tummy and breast fat. Please advice

hello, Do not keep long gaps between your meals as it reduces the metabolic rate. Do not skip breakfast, have a healthy wholesome breakfast. Here are some healthy breakfast options. Do some kind of physical activity at least for 30 minutes, 4-6 times a week. Eat 2 fruits and 3 servings of veggies to get good amount of fibre which will help you lose weight

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

If the weight gain has increased drastically without making any evident change in food and other physical activities. I recommended you to get your thyroid levels checked. Still for basic weight loss to be achieved maintains a balanced diet of not more than 1500 calories per day. 1. Refined sugars in coffee and tea should be completely stopped, shift to multigrain chapatti instead of only wheat based and have more complex crabs in your snacks time like roasted grain and salads. 2.2serving of fruits should be included but keep the serving size maximum to 1 at one time. 3. Include 1-2 portions of proteins in form of tofu, paneer, sprouts and oat meals daily in the evening time to manage the intake of carbohydrates after 7: 30 pm. 4. Maintain a good balanced of carbohydrates, fats and protein to the ratio and include a cardio session of 45 mins daily for at least 5 days a week to maintain a good health overall.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.

Is he on treatment for diabetes? if so what are the drugs? it appears his present treatment is not adequate. I suggest to shift on basal insulin like injection basalog to begin with 6 units once in the morning, do sugar checkup at home daily and if not at desired level increase insulin by 2 units every alternate day. Preferably with guidance from your doctor. About the food first check his daily caloric need based on ideal body weigh in kgs x 25 calories per day. Ideal body weight is height in centimeters - 100x 0.9 he has to eat only that much per day and walk 1 h every day. Avoid direct sweets, deep fried foods, excess salt and fruits like mango, chikkoos, grapes & banana.

Find Your Pelvic Floor Muscles – Finding the PC muscle is easy. The next time you’re urinating, stop or slow your pee mid-flow. The muscles used to stop urinating is your PC muscle. Don’t actually tense legs, abdomen or butt cheek muscles, instead focus on lifting your entire pelvic floor upward. Most importantly, continue to breathe through the contraction of your pelvic floor. If you’re able to stop or slow your urine in mid-stream, you’ve just successfully located and contracted your pelvic floor muscles! If you’re having a hard time, it’s the same set of muscles you use to tighten your anus. Now you’re ready to Kegel. Contract Your Pelvic Floor Muscles – When you’re ready to do Kegel exercises for men, the first thing you need to do is contract your pelvic floor muscles. Hold the Kegel Contraction – Hold that contraction for as long as you can. Most men can’t hold a Kegel at first for no more than a couple of seconds. Some may not be able to hold it at all. That’s OK, that’s what penis exercises are for – to make you stronger! Make a note of how long you can hold the Kegel. Release the Kegel Contraction and Repeat – Release the squeeze and repeat, for ten repetitions. Gradually build up your Kegels until you can hold them for 10 seconds each.

Eat less calories than you spend. Leafy vegetables, daliya, khichdi, chhachh (buttermilk) to be taken as a general course. Hit water drink. Boil water with ginger. Take 1 cup. Mix 1 cup sugarless cranberry juice. Put 1 tsp pure honey. Take 6-7 times a day before food. In the morning only chew 3-4 cloves of garlic with this liquid. Report after a month.

Dear friend, please start taking balance diet and a lot of water daily, add some salads in this. Avoid food containing high calories. Start some physical exercise to burn extra fat deposit. Gradually increase the exercise tell your progress to guide further.
