Ayurveda translates to study of life and is one of oldest medicine systems in the world. It works by treating the body as a whole system and gets to the problem. It believes that good health is a result of the balance between the 3 body elements Vata, pitta and kapha. The imbalance between these three cause disease and treatment should be aimed at restoring this balance.

Oils are one of the widely used Ayurvedic remedies, and there are multiple benefits of an Ayurvedic oil massage. Therapists would recommend this to be a daily routine for overall well-being. While pain relief is an obvious benefit, read on to know some of the lesser known benefits of an oil massage.

On a regular basis, there is stress and toxins that are accumulated in the body. A good massage dissolves these toxins and rejuvenates and recharges the body. The body and the mind are relaxed and soothed.
The physical motions of an oil massage improve circulation to all parts of the body. The overall sensation is improved.

  1. Internal organs are stimulated, thereby their efficiency is improved.
  2. The oil per se provides good lubrication for the joints, thereby, enabling smoother joint and bone movement

Hi Lakshmi Excess fat deposit on tummy area is due to insulin and glucagon hormone imbalance. To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food exm. chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. pannier, egg, chicken. Take lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

It is digestive enzyme taken 2-3 times a day, not for a long time ;even 1 tab a day will have good effect, ;not used for loose motions, Dysentery or diarrhoea ;It is used for abdominal distension, Flatulence,belching etc.

Lemons, yellow bell peppers, papaya, broccoli, tomatoes, palak, guava, peas etc are good sources of Vit C. You have to take daily intake of Vit C since its a water soluble vitamin and excess Vitamins will get washed off daily. Excess Vitamin C does not stay in the body.

Hi, do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Take 4 eggs in a day. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals. High calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Take small and frequent meals. Hello lybrate-user you should start your morning at half hr walking and before walk drink 1 glass of warm water with 1 tsf honey aloevera juice+godhan ark+amla juice and morning time empty stomach tab. Arogyavati 1 bd and some aasan like pashchimotasan, bhujangasan, chakrasan etc.

For us This month is the month of fasting (ramzan) and we people have to fast. Before fasting my weight was 61 and after 5 days of fasting I checked ma weight and it was 61 kg . 6-7 days passed and I checked ma weight again and itz 65 .I don't even used to eat much but why my weight is increasing so much. How can I control my weight. M really disappointed by this. Please give some suggestions.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

Gud question. You need to do exercise of your hand to make it muscular. And for that you need to go to gym where there are special instructer who will guide you to do exercise for your hand. In addition if you want to make your hand muscular you need to take high protien diet. If you are a vegetarian you can take cereals like mung chana etc. Soyabine is a very good source of protien. Soyabine vadies are available in market that you can add to your sabji. Or you can have soyabine floor which you can mix it with wheat flour in apropriate amont nd make roti ot paratha from that. Drink more milk and milk products like cheese. You can also take protien powder. So many such powders are available on online market. And you can also ask the gym instructer for this powder. They can guide you for that. And if you are nonveg its easy as most nonveg food are rich in protien. You can eat eggs. Or tandoori chisken which is very rich in protien. You have said that you are 66 kg. So you need to take 66 gram of protien per day. And for that if you eat only eggs you can have 6 to 7 eggs per day.

Once you have got the happy news of a little one coming soon in your life, you should start taking some special care so that you can enjoy the journey of pregnancy and get a healthy baby (learn about Dietary Dos and Don'ts for Pregnancy)

These are some pointers you have to follow during pregnancy:

  1. Maintain good hygiene during pregnancy. Take bath regularly. Warm shower or sponge bath is considered better than tub bath.

  2. Brush your teeth regularly and have a regular dental check up. Caries tooth can be extracted after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

  3. Avoid wearing tight clothes and shoes with high heels. Wear loose and light clothes.

  4. Take lots of fluid, fresh fruits & vegetables.

  5. Take a diet which is light, nutritious, easily digestible & rich in protein, less fat, minerals and vitamins.

  6. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. It can cause miscarriage, defect in the development and growth of the baby.

  7. Avoid jerky travelling, especially in 1st 12 wks and last 6wks of pregnancy. Prolonged sitting in a car or plane should be avoided. Air travel is not advisable to women who have high blood pressure, less hemoglobin (anemia) and low lying placenta.

  8. Avoid taking any unprescribed drugs, exposure to X-Ray & chemicals especially in the 1st 12 weeks of pregnancy.

  9. Take adequate rest in the lateral position and relax 1-2 hrs in the afternoon & 8 hrs at night.

  10. Start taking folic acid at least 3 months before planning pregnancy & continue it till the 1st 12 weeks of pregnancy.

  11. Start taking iron & calcium after 12 wks of pregnancy and continue it throughout pregnancy and 6 months post delivery.

  12. Exercise regularly during pregnancy. Walking is the best exercise, but long periods of walking should be avoided. Also avoid heavy weight lifting and prolonged standing. Diving, water sking, gymnastic, netball, hockey, horse riding, cycling, rock-climbing, & scuba diving exercises should be avoided during pregnancy.

  13. If you have any of these symptoms - vaginal bleeding, persistent abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, watery discharge from vagina, less or no fetal movement, severe headache, swelling on hands, face & feet, fever, dizziness, blurring of vision, double vision, spots before eyes, painful urination and diarrhea, immediately consult your gynecologist.
