Your weight gain is because of your steroids. But keep a healthy lifestyle along so that the weight gain is restricted and you start losing weight. Make necessary dietary changes and combine it with 45-60 min brisk walk / exercise. Focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to complex ones only. Avoid simple sugars. 'Eat Out' less and have good quantity of fresh foods (Fruits, Vegetables)which are not processed. Have plenty of water and sleep well. If you want to be healthy always, avoid spicy oily junk food. Eat less more drinks. Avoid carbohydrates. Fibre food fruits salads nutritous diet like boiled egg, steamed chicken etc. you may add in your diet.

Regular exercise and proper diet will help you to control diabetes.Avoid underground vegetables,banana,pumpkin.Take small amount of food frequently.Don't skip meals.Eat more protein like fish,egg white,lean meat,mushroom,tofu,yogurt.Use healthy fat like fish oil,refined vegetable oil.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods,sugar,sweetened juice,soft drinks.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water.This you can control your diabetes.

Take protin rich diet avoid fatty and spices food and skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily with mild exercise and diet control avoid non veg and fast food.

Is it advisable to change from use of common salt to rock salt (potassium chloride)? will it lead to sodium depletion? or will it be better to take 50 percent each?

Modern medicine does not have any particular recommendation on this but you can do so if there are no contraindications such as diseases or medicines that increase potassium levels. Taking potassium chloride will not deplete sodium if your kidneys are functioning normally. You will get sodium from several other sources anyway. Table salt is not the only source of sodium.

As all know well, good and nourishing food with high carbs n fats give additional kilograms to your body. But you should have good digestion and assimilation to get the benefit. If all is well, pl start taking brunghnadi group of herbs with milk. Some highly antioxidant herbs will fetch desired results. Dandelion leaves, fenugreek, eating banana and milk all have miraculous properties to gain weight. Triphala, ashwagandha, peepal, jeera all are used in some combination or the other to gain wt.

Take following remedies 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

no you can take white rice in a adequate amount like 1 katori with lunch....avoid at dinner ...do crunches and pushups daily to reduce belly fat
