You are on a Crash Diet, which is not advisable. Such diets show some results in a week or two but over a period of next 2-3 months, you will come back to your normal diet and normal weight. You should try to reduce gradually. Eat more fruits, reduce sugar, reduce fried stuff. Drink more water. Do intensive exercise i.e add joggin daily. Aim to improve fitness. Aim to be healthy. Rest everything will fall in place.

Please note that you only need to include the following in your daily diet -- 1 liters of milk/1 doz banana/250 gms of chicken/4 eggs/handful of nuts daily with your normal diet. I personally do not suggest anyone to take any supplement - until he is a professional body-builder.

Weight gain is a scientific process & depends on many factors. Even supplements and medicines don't work in isolation. You need to eat balanced diet and right food at right time to gain weight. Taking only three meals is not enough. Eat something after short intervals. Include high calorie food items in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, nuts, cheese, sweetened beverages, yoghurt to gan weight. Moreover I would suggest you to discuss your lifestyle in detail so to ensure you in positive energy balance and to get more satisfactory results.

Mr. Lybrate-user, it appears the dosage of insulin is not adequate, needs to be uptitrated. This can be done by first targeting fasting sugar level and later pp sugar level. Night time insulin dose can be increased by 2 to 4 units every 3 rd day based on fasting glucose level till target level is achieved, through a system of self monitoring and getting info from your doctor on insulin dose, till a trget level (120 mg fasting) is reached. I do not understand the reason for starting dionil now, because it is not suitable in old age as it can precipitate severe hypoglycemia. Dionil or glimepiride push pancreas beta cells to produce insulin, but if there is no reserve of beta cells then these drugs have no action at all.

1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise after consulting physiotherapist.

Hi lybrate-user Weight gain is a big problem now a day. U are gaining weight due to hormone and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. U avoid high carbohyrdate food exm. Chapati, rice, bread. U can use high protein diet exm. Pannier, egg, pannier. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. Sample diet plan:- a) breakfast - Russian salad with boiled eggs. B) lunch - cooked vegetable + 1 chapatti +salad +curd. C) dinner - paneer tikka or chicken tikka with green chutney d) snacks - dry fruits and nuts with green tea or lemonade. Suggested supplements:- Microfruit and Cytofresh tablets daily after breakfast lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

Weight gain is muscle gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat atleast 6 meals in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk. Products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Hello, weight loss is the result of a holistic approach that includes- 1. Balanced diet rich in proteins and fibre like- egg, chicken, fish, milk, curd, paneer, sprouts, oats, wholegrain cereals and pulses, fruits and vegetables (fibre) 2. Take warm water for drinking, walk for 45 minutes in the morning, take dinner in half quantity of lunch & early in the evening, do regular exercise, avoid overeating, sleeping immediately after taking food, oily,spicy, fatty ,fast food, avoid late night work, avoid excessive seating for long duration, avoid junk food.
