Following are the guidelines everybody should read before losing weight.

Adopt Scientific Method:
Make sure that weight loss is done scientifically. Crash dieting will give results but those results will be temporary. Also, you may develop deficiency of micronutrients and chances of your bones becoming porous are definitely high (i.e. low bone mineral density). Following personalized diet, planned by a dietitian, considering age, weight, height, life style, medical conditions of a person etc. is the first important step towards achieving your target.

Listen to your Body:
Don’t follow a diet regime, your friend has followed to lose weight. You have your own Body Frame, Basal Metabolic Rate, Genetic Factor, Body Measurements, Body Composition, diet pattern and lifestyle. Your dietary modifications and rate of weight loss will be based on these factors. So, get a personalised diet planned which is going to work exclusively for you.

Portion Control:
Look at you plate/bowl size while eating. To achieve the target, one should eat small frequent meals instead of 2 big meals. Meals should be balanced comprising carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and not to forget fluids in required amount. Intelligently planned 3 main meals and 3 small meals according to your lifestyle is going to help you.

Be Active:
A personalised exercise schedule under the guidance of qualified trainer is required to shed those extra kilos. An exercise schedule comprising of both cardio exercise and weight training is necessary. Cardio exercises will burn extra calories and weight training will improve muscle mass thus toning the body. Also, inclusion of few yoga sessions in exercise regime will assist you in stress management.

Body Composition Analysis:
Weight monitoring should not be only a reading on weighing scale but it should be monitoring of body fat. Body composition analysis should be done at first visit and then after regular interval of 30 days. If you are losing body fat % and gaining lean mass then I must say that a person is achieving his/her target.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Do not sleep immediately after taking meal.

Please follow the below recommendation for your condition: diet, exercise, and behavioral modification should be included in all obesity management approaches for body mass index (bmi) of 25 kg/m 2 or higher. Other tools, such as pharmacotherapy for bmi of 27 kg/m 2 or higher with comorbidity or bmi over 30 kg/m2 and bariatric surgery for bmi of 35 kg/m2 with comorbidity or bmi over 40 kg/m 2, should be used as adjuncts to behavioral modification to reduce food intake and increase physical activity when this is possible. Add in your daily food carbohydrates, vitamines, minirales, proteins, green vegitabales, salad, milkend milk products, dry fruites, etc. Do arobic excersices, yoga, walking will help. I gained weight on pregnancy and cesarean, now my last child is 5 years old But still I do not loose weight. I am 4.10 feet weight 57 kg. I take Sarpagandha Vati once in the morning for BP. I do not feel hungry frequently I take food after a gap of 4 hours and can not even eat more than a half plate however yet I'm gaining weight inspite of doing alternate days workout for half hour and wow Green Coffee beans yet not effective I even tried No fat capsules .I sometimes feels heavy and tired. thyroid TSH 0.6 taking Kelp when it was 5.11 previously. Please help me what is the problem of gaining weight in spite of not over eating nor large quantity. And why is so hard to burn my fats.

lybrate-user, You have a BMI of 27.18 kgs/M2, which does show being over weight. TSH 0.6 mU/L mentioned is it present one? If that is correct, then your efforts to reduce weight should be successful. You may have to do more vigorous work outs, plus give a very close look at your diet. The diet has to be on the basis of ideal body weight (47 kgs) and to be adhered to very strictly. Do muscle building exercise like weight lifting and others, push ups, yoga etc. Eat extra amount of foods more frequently. Add ghee, butter, cream etc with foods. Take nuts, seeds. Use dense fruits, vegetables. Use extra meat, fish, egg etc. Use more healthy fat in cooking. Drink lots of water but not just before or during meals. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Take proper rest at night. These are basic but for more quick and effective result consult me privately on lybrate.

Is there any complications occur when we take 1 glass milk & 2eggs at a time in breakfast? my age is 20 years and my weight is 60kg.

Both are protein rich foods and for weight gain you don't need only proteins but carbohydrate rich foods too. So have either milk or an egg with a cereal like roti poha rawa pav etc.

Hi firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

I have always increased heartbeat. But I have done check up. No problem diagnosed. But yet I m suffering. My age is 22 n height 5feet Weight is 49 kg.

You are only 22 years old and it is good to know that heart check ups have been done and there is nothing wrong in reports. It can be anxiety due to exams/ jobs/ never ending household work and lots more. Learn to relax , go for long walks ,eat well ,be disciplined and take your mind away from heart disease. If you can , do visit a heart center near you to see for yourself about real heart disease , May be you can help patients get back to Normal , this will heal them more and help you too !

Step 01: refined sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: improve posture and sitting habits if you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ml of hard liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. Try to eliminate the urge to overeat but if you do overeat try to limit the incidents to two times per week. 3. Eat 4 servings of fruits per day. 4. Each of your meal should contain 50% of raw vegetables. Once you incorporate the above points in your routine you will see a dramatic difference in your weight, physical shape and energy levels. You will find that there are a lot of companies out there that are trying to sell expensive products to naive consumers in the name of weight loss. These products may not necessarily be good for you. Losing and maintaining weight is something which is totally in your hands, it is easy and it is free of cost if you follow the above mentioned points.

Garlic is well known for its strong antiviral and antibacterial properties and has been used for ages to fight the common cold and many of its symptoms. Plus, it contains allicin, a sulfuric compound that produces potent antioxidants and offers many medicinal benefits.

Also, garlic is one of best immune-boosting foods that help the body ward off and fight infections. A 2001 study published in the journal Advances in Therapy found that taking garlic supplements daily helps prevent colds.
•Eat one to two raw garlic cloves or add a few drops of garlic oil in your food and drinks regularly to prevent as well as fight common colds.
•If you have a cold, you can boil a few chopped garlic cloves in one cup of water. Remove from heat, and add one teaspoon of honey. Drink it two or three times a day until your cold is gone.
