Dear, These are the causes of hair fall: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to nutrition • Use of chemical products • Due to pollution To Prevent hair fall follow these instructions and methods: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself. • You can apply amla powder, Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it. • Do sarvangasan daily for 5 minutes do it under the supervision of yoga expert. • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo. • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily, and a glass of milk also. • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use Mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and enhance hair growth. •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.

Hi lybrate-user this can be done in a few steps: eat less chapatis, less rice, i. E. Less carbohydrates. Take more pulses and pulses products. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid taking creamed milk and milk products. Also avoid eating fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, etc. Must take salad with your every main meal. Drink plenty of water. Take green tea instead of normal tea but not more than twice a day. Walk at least for half an hour after dinner at night. Take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food.

Hey lybrate-user, white flacks on body and dandruff in scalp are starting symptoms of psoriasis. Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to street and irregular life style. We are treating psoriasis using ayurvedic medicines. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain in skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting in nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk and sit in sun for 15 minutes it helps. We are using external ayurvedic oil and ointment for application and internal blood purifying herbs which will solve your problem. For more info you can contact clinic. Actually my skin tone is fair. Even I had never used any kind of make up. The main problem is my skin is acne prone. I want my skin to look more fair. Use Tea Tree face wash and Toner twice a day. Use AHA Glow face wash once in a day. Use Sunscreen with SPF 30 daily. Use natural face pack of Multani Mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- Do not eat Junk, Eat more Vegetables and fruits especially with Vitamin C.

Dear doctor. My age is 46 years old. Last year july 2014, I joined in fitness gym. After six months I got pain on my shoulders and chest, so I stopped do to the excerise in the gym and taken appointment with Dr. he told that I got aroung 190 bp. And then I had taken the medicine for more than six months now it bp was reduced around 140 to 150. So I again can do the excerise or not. Every day i unable to awake in the early morning at that my body will be full of strain eg (i fell like a old aged man) and also in night times if I close my eyes also I cannot able to sleep. Sir I am having two kids now what treatment can I perfer. .

Hello , pls don't be worried, all will be set to good. 1. At the age of 48, I would suggest you to do a healthy exercise like walking, and surya namaskar, pranayama. 2. Drink more water in a day so that your feel active. 3. Add more vegetables and fruits into your diet. This gives required vitamins and minerals to your body. 4. Sleep on a floor so all your parts will be so relaxed and you feel relaxed early in the morning. 5. Read books at least a 30 mins a day. Regular readers sleep better, have lower stress levels, higher self esteem and lower rates of depression. 6. At this age, you need more proteins, vitamins and minerals and good omega-3 source to your body, which is not possible to full fill from your diet. I suggest you go with best natural food supplements. 7. •Combine turmeric powder and gram flour. •Add oil and lemon juice to this. •Now add enough milk to get a paste like consistency. •Apply this mask to your face or any other body part where you have pigmentation. •Leave for 10-15 minutes. •Now wet your fingers a little and rub them on your face in circular motion over the dried mask. Give more attention to the pigment affected areas. •Do this for about 5 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. •Repeat this 2-3 times a week.

Hye, Thanks for the query. The moment you think of weight gain, whatever is your workout or diet intake, does not justify taking a protein supplement. You cannot gain weight by just adding a protein source to your diet. Weight gain needs additional calories through a balance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and exercise. Proteins are not stored in the body like other nutrients. Your body will utilize only as much protein it needs and the rest will be broken down for energy purpose which is it's secondary function; main being building/repairing muscles. Depending on the exercise (ie. Strength training/cardio or activities like gymnastics or weight lifting) your body's needs for proteins varies. Although whey is natural and the most easily and quickly assimilated form of protein - it is not needed to be exclusively included in your diet. You have to have a balanced healthy protein rich diet for the supplement to be utilised.       Protein need totally depends on your present food intake & activity levels. So, for weight gain you need a balanced, calorie dense diet and a good exercise routine first. The supplement actually works only if the above factors are set right. So, if it's in excess of the needs of the body it can have side effects like fat accumulation, pressure on the kidneys, etc.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

6 Mistakes in Self-Treating Acne

Acne is a very common problem that affects people, mostly teenagers worldwide. The problem of acne can be extremely annoying, making most of the people to opt for self medication. However, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist to avoid unwanted complications. The following common but serious mistakes should be avoided while self-treating acne:

1. Fight acne the dermatologist way: During adolescence, hormonal imbalance is one of the major factors resulting in acne. However, factors like prolonged illness, pollution, dermatological problems cannot be sidelined either. It should be noted that acne is an inflammation which needs proper investigation. A dermatologist should be consulted at the very onset. Use of any medicated lotions or creams without proper recommendation can aggravate the problem.

2. The lesser the better: Using too many products at a time will do you more harm than good. Use one product at a time. If you think a product can magically treat your acne in a day, then you are in for some disappointment. Optimism is good, but being realistic is better. Not all products show positive results in a day. One needs to have patience. Use the product diligently for a week before trying out a new product.

3. Complete what you started: It is a crime to stop any medications mid way. Complete the full course of the medication, even if your acne is fully treated. 

4. Popping away to ugly spots and scars: Popping or picking only worsens the inflammation and acne. It will leave your face with some really ugly spots. When the acne head turns white, do not try to squeeze it out. Show some resilience. It is a very common mistake that should be strictly avoided.

5. Exfoliants should be chosen carefully. Understand your skin type well. Micro-beads-enriched exfoliants are the best to use. Avoid scrubbing or over washing the face. Always use a sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. If you are into make-ups, remove them before retiring to bed. Use make-ups that suit your skin type. Minimal application of make-up is advisable in case of acne.

6. Many well wishers might suggest innumerable acne treatments. Listen to all, but choose what you feel and know is the best.

A flawless and acne-free face is very much achievable.

Hello lybrate-user- pain during menses is due to improper tone of uterus muscles. Use dashmoolaristha 2 tsp twice daily for 10 days before menses. This single medicine will cure all of your menstrual problems (do not use the medicine more than ten days as the body will become habitual to it and will not respond quickly)

Some tips to lose weight are 1.1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week.

Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink lots of water. Keep check on your food intake. Keep yourself motivated through out the day to lose weight avoid sweets & sweetened beverages from your diet such as cold drinks, tea coffee.

1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% fat, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /8-10 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8.Avoid smoking, consumptionof tobacco and Alcohol 8. Hi, Acne is the most common teenage problem. Acne is a result of a blockage in the follicles or the pores on the skin. It includes whiteheads, pimples, blackheads and rashes, and occurs usually on the face, chest. Homoeopathy cures acne conditions like blackheads, whiteheads, skin rashes and oily skin very effectively. *Treatment part for the acne -- 1. Take kali brom 30 ch,(wsi) 3 drops daily morning empty stomach. 2. Take Berberis Aquafolium Q 10 drops with water twice a day. * Management part for the acne-- 1.drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. 2. Eat healthy and balanced diet including whole grain meals, green leafy vegetables and fruits. 3. I have very dark greenish color at the back side of my teeth. I am suffering from this problem since 4 years. Recently I consulted a dentist and she did cleaning for my teeth. After I met the dentist my tooth color became white but not for long time. After three months again my teeth color started to change again and now it became greenish color. The reason is that you are not brushing the area properly which is leading to plaque build up in the region. Visit a dentist again and get it cleaned also ask the dentist to teach you the correct brushing technique.
