It's better to wear loose clothing while you are asleep because if you wear tight jeans than there is improper circulation of the legs at rest.

Sir, i have been suffering from hairfall from the past one year .I think the main reason for this is due to the water changes as i was shifted to another city for doing my b.Tech and staying here for approximately one and half years .The other reason i think was both my father and mother had very thin hair .So please give me solution.?

Hello Dear,According to Ayurveda, hair is a byproduct of bone formation. The factors responsible for building bones are also responsible for the hair re-growth. Ayurveda doctors believe that early hair loss is related to body type and the balance of the mind-body constitution (doshas). Excess pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair, or folliculitis can make the person start losing hair. We loose hair after a certain growth and new hair replaces the older one, which means recycling of hair. Hair loss means losing more hair than you naturally lose. To increase the stamina you have to take healthy food. Do regular exercise. Take a multivitamin and protein supplement. Side effects of steroids are 1000s.

I am 60 year old man.My bowel system is not perfect, I have to visit the toilet 2/3 times in a day and each time it takes 20/30 minutes, I have no constipation, I walk briskly for 6/8 kilometer every morning in the park, 365 days in a year, no holiday, i am physically fit, no sugar, no bp, no overweight(5. 9/78kg) tell me the best remedy, I want to make it only one time in the morning, this bowel system is prevalent since my childhood.

Limit the amount of white bread, sugar, meat, junk food and milk products (cheese, milk, butter, cream.) and increasing fresh fruits, veggies, water and fiber (beans, oats,) also yogurt really helps due to the probiotics. Maybe you could do a food diary for a period, eliminate a couple of items at a time and build up until you have added enough other of good items to make the stools loose. Oatmeal helps out tremendously. Figure out the diet and once you' ve added enough good things, slowly pull back on the laxatives and pay attention as you go. This could be a food allergy, do some research, usually its lactose (dairy), nuts, sugar, food coloring, preservatives. Try to avoid boxed and processed foods which have more preservatives, calories, fat, high carb. I hope some of this helps. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Hello physiotherapy is the best treatment for this condition. There are many reasons for this type of pain- 1. Overuse of muscles, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, etc. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by providing correct ergonomic and physiotherapeutic tips. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. How Can You Prevent Muscle Loss As You Age?

What is sarcopenia?

It’s the loss of muscle mass, strength & function as one ages. Though everyone is at risk of sarcopenia, it’s most commonly seen in people who lead a sedentary lifestyle. Other factors that may contribute to this condition: 

  1. Hormonal change with age
  2. Change in protein requirements with age 

How does it affect routine life?

  1. Impairment of daily functioning as muscle mass & strength are required for effective functioning of body 
  2. Disables the aged people 

Who is at risk? 

  1. Age more than 40 years 
  2. Sedentary lifestyle 
  3. Low protein intake 

How to prevent? 

  1. Proper nutrition: Adequate nutrition is essential to prevent loss of muscle mass with age.Older adults may need more protein per Kg body weight to retain the muscle mass. They may require 1.0 to 1.2 g/kg of body weight per day to maintain the optimal level. 
  2. Exercise: Resistance training is extremely effective for improving muscle mass and strength.Incorporating this fitness regimen in everyday activity helps in reducing the risk and also in prevention of sarcopenia. 
  3. Supplements: Appropriate supplements can be given if required. For example, maintaining optimal vitamin D level using supplements aids in muscle strength and physical performance.

How to manage life with sarcopenia? 

  1. Nutritious diet 
  2. Increase physical activity 
  3. Appropriate steps to avoid falls and fracture

It is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use this no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

My female friend have irregular period times and she suffers from irritation at private parts time to time, where also some times a pimple occurs. And moreover she often had secretion of fluid from vagina more than usual. Due to these problems she had body ache & got tired very often and not able to do much physical activities please give suggestion to identify and cure these problems.

Most likely these are related to hormonal problems. Ask her to reduce weight if she is overweight. Check hormone levels by blood tests and get USG done. Avoid using ordinary soaps in genital area and try medicated soaps. Maintain hygiene. Consult gynecologist as we need to diagnose the cause and treat the cause.
