High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. You have two option for now either you can go for laproscopy to open your tubes, or you can go for ivf. In both the condition success rate will be less, but chances of conception are more in ivf, as with laparoscopy it is not necessary that tubes will be as healthy for pregnancy as earlier. So first see a infertility specialist with your reports.

I am 50 years old having stress depression for financial loss and headache and high blood pressure. What should I do?
Due to excessive thinking of financial status. You are getting stress it leads to depression. Do not think about financial problems. I have also so many financial problems. But I never think about it excessively. If we think it may solve then we think. It will not solved. Our mood disturbed. We are not working properly for further aspects. So do not think seriously about it. It may solve slowly up to that wait. Till date comes. We are normal human beings we do mistakes it is common. Based on mistakes we do take further steps but we do not think about it seriously. Like me do not think. Do not use any medicines. It may give further problems and side effects. Take rest. Share the feelings with your friends and family members. Do not sit alone. Be sociable. Be happy all the time. Best of luck.

As of today I have no health issue but as you can see my cholesterol level is not normal. I'm 100% vegetarian, do not consume even an egg. Try to consume as less oil as possible but still cholesterol level is high. What do you suggest? Is the cholesterol level high enough to start statins? How can I lower TLC level?

HI, I'm 45 yrs. Old & my total cholesterol is 227 mg/dl ,HDL 38 & LDL 166, triglycerides 140 mg/dl ,VLDL is 28. 1 mg/...
Since you have a family history of premature coronary artery disease, you have a high risk of developing heart disease and earlier than your peers, So we should aggressively manage your Cholesterol and try and keep LDL levels below 100. In diet, it is important to avoid fried, sugary or high carbohydrate foods. You can have egg white if you want and also lean meat like fish or chicken if you want. Consult a dietician for a detailed diet consult. Exercise daily for 45 mins. And start taking cholesterol control medications. Consult a cardiologist near you, or consult in private for a prescription with lipid profile, RFT and TMT report.
