I will suggest you to Get your blood checked for CBC and follow up with reports and Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest.

It is viral myocarditis. Treatmentis 1. Rest. 2. Analgesics like ibuprofen 300m 3times ady or ecospirin 650 twice daily or colchicine. 6 mg twice aday for 6 days, along with pantoprazole tab. Within 4 to 6wks it will be alright.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Lybrate-user we all have one or other kind of fear at different times in our life. Feeling of fear is what kept us alert and helped us survive in earlier time of evolution process. Every feeling th8st we feel has some kind of beneficial effect to protact us. Saying that, I would add that fear is also something which at times stops us from growing. In order to understand the triggers and cause behind your triggers. It is best if you consult some behavioural psychologist. He or she will be able to help you overcome your fear. I do believe that fear and courage are two sides of the single coin. Being courageous does not mean than one do not feel fearful. Rather inspite of fear when you choose to act in certain way. That is what is courage. And every one of us have this courage within us. Do not take drastic steps to reduce the weight. My advise for you would be to go for a routine checkup with a doctor along with some investigations so as to diagnose the exact problem if any. You can revert back after the visit to the doctor and inform about all the reports for further guidance. On your part you can start living a healthy lifestyle which means eating wholesome, natural and a balanced diet. Avoid all bad habits. Avoid junk food and processed food in daily diet. Have 2 or more fruits and vegetables in daily diet as they contain low calories and yet will satiate your hunger with lots of nutrients. Drink 10-12 glasses of water or more if you feel thirsty. Sleep for 7-8 hrs daily. Exercise everyday and add yoga as it can help you maintain a consistent metabolic rate and give you strength and stamina. To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Do exercise daily, running and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.

Difficult question. Medically speaking it can be done I have seen many successful surgeries at this age. But depends on Cardiac Centre, Financial Position, How mentally alert and enthusiastic your grand father is? Will the surgery actually give him quality life afterwards? Any invasive procedure at this can go wrong for no reason. If it goes wrong what will you all feel. Discuss with him , elders in the family and if you have a close Family Doctor. Take a decision and leave it to God. Consider conservative , non invasive technique and alternate medicine advoacated and practiced by many eminent heart specialists.

But it is crucial to know that your individual calorie requirement is dependent on numerous factors, including your age, gender as well as level of physical activities. When you are aiming to restrict your weight gain, it is recommended not to eat more than you can use up in a day along with increasing the intensity and amount of physical activity so that it matches the amount of physical activity. You must try to incorporate either 75 minutes of hard training or 150 minutes of moderate exercise in a span of seven days in order to boost healthy weight loss.

My age is 29, weighs 76 kg and height is 180 cm. I'm having a mild localized pain in my left chest and left arm at multiple locations. I don't have shortness of breath and no sweat. My bp is 130/80. Echo and TMT are normal but my ecg shows slight ST elevation sometimes. My total cholesterol is 139, triglyceride 69, hdl 38 and ldl is 55. I smoke 2-3 cigarettes a day. I'm a teacher with teaching hours of 10 hours a day on an average. Please guide me. Thanks.

Quit smoking. If your TMT is fine as you mention no need to worry. Quit smoking, exercise daily for 45 mins, eat a healthy diet (consult a dietician for the same)
