What you are feeling is foreign body sensation. It can occur due to allergy/ gerd/ smoking. To get a proper diagnosis and rule out cancer we need to do a laryngeal endoscopy.

I visited a hill station 2 month back. There I felt dizziness (ghamer in head) and that continue till date. Please suggest some ayurvedic medicine or other.

It seems to be due to motion sickness Some tips to avoid motion sickness Avoid excessive alcohol and foods or liquids that "do not agree with you" or make you feel unusually full. Heavy, spicy, or fat-rich foods may worsen motion sickness Avoiding strong food odors may also help prevent nausea. Try to choose a seat where you will experience the least motion. The middle of an airplane over the wing is the calmest area of an airplane. Do not sit facing backwards from your direction of travel. Sit in the front seat of a car. Do not read while traveling if you are prone to motion sickness. When traveling by car or boat, it can sometimes help to keep your gaze fixed on the horizon or on a fixed point. medication can be prescribed after complete evaluation

Please check your sleeping room condition like humidity, dust, ventilation etc. Please avoid mosquito coils or liquids or mats. See that ventilation of the sleeping room is good and well cross ventilated for lamellar flow of air.

I am having headaches for 1 month. I feel dizzy almost every alternate day. Long visions are also not clear. Which doctor I should consult? Thank you.

FICO, DNB Ophtalmology
Ophthalmologist, Gandhinagar
Hello. I feel that you should consult a physician first for your headache and dizziness issues. You need to get your blood pressure and systemic status evaluated by the physician. If concluded normal by the physician, it would be a good idea to get your eyes evaluated by an eye specialist. Do not delay it further if your symptoms have been there since a month now. Take care. Regards.

I am 28 and have been suffering from allergic rhinitis for as long as I can remember. I usually take Levocet to curb the symptoms whenever I come in contact with an allergen. For the past one month or so, I am down with cold every single day with symptoms appearing mostly in the morning as soon as I wake up. Besides, I also sense some blockage in nostrils even when there is no runny nose and I can breathe only through one constricted nostril at a time. I do not go out or come in contact with dust/allergens. Can you help?

MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Aurangabad
Household dust is a mixture of many materials. Dust may contain tiny fibers shed from different fabrics as well as tiny particles of food, plant and insect parts, mold and fungus spores, dander from pet dogs or cats, or feathers from birds. Dust also contains many microscopic mites and their waste products. The waste products of dust mites — not the mites themselves — are what cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Throughout its short life span, a single dust mite may produce as much as 200 times its body weight in waste products. Dust mite waste contains a protein that is an allergen. An allergen is a substance that provokes an allergic reaction. Homoeopathy can cure such allergy.

Hi since you have nasal discharge it falls at your back of the nose into throat and lower down over voice box inturn causes cough we call it post nasal drip due to sinus issues. Kindly start doing steam inhalation will help. For cough take warm water with honey. Avoid curds and milk during nights. For nasal blockade can use nasal decongestant drops will help in breathing better. Do get a x-ray of nose and sinuses and a nasal endoscopy done this will give better picture. After the reports can suggest medicines.
