Hello, Lybrate user, to over come ,insomnia ,please go through the under noted tips.  •go for a walk in d morning to restore your blood circulation to nourish your body& brain.  ⁃go for meditation to reduce your stress, anxiety and to calm your nerve to ease insomnia, checking ischemia.  ⁃Tk, banana,apples, coca, almonds,pumpkin -seeds, spinach to ease insomnia.  ⁃ Tk, plenty of water free from contaminants to eliminate toxins &'regulate your metabolism to absorb protein, vitamins, minerals, energy & other important substance essential to upkeep ,repair & energise the body. ⁃ Your diet b easily digestible, simple,non-irritant, on time. Your dinner b at least 2 hrs before going to bed with 1 cup of milk, finally before going to sleep to prevent constipation. ⁃ Avoid, caffiene, nicotine, alcohol,junk food, watching Tv in d late night & drinking water in the night.  ⁃ Homoeo medicine, are gentle, rapid without any side effect b administered: @ coffea cruda 30-6 pills ,thrice/ day. @ passiflora Q-20 drops before 1/2 hr ,going to bed. 1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.

Supplements of any type is of no help, you should complete minimum 5 to 6 hrs sleep at any convenient time during day.

Your sleep is disturbed, stop worrying, take bath two times, have regular light exercise, avoid spicy and pungent diet, take fruits and fresh juices. Practice meditation, yoga and pranayam, cultivate positive thoughts, this will help in getting good sleep.

1.Check your Hemoglobin, Bp. and do a thyroid function test to exclude thyroid problem 2. Avoid severe physical exertion 3. Take adequate rest and sleep for 7-8 hours daily 4.Drink plenty of water 5. Take one capsule of Revital daily after breakfast 6. consult me for further advice

•Drink lots of water. At night, as you study, keep water at hand and sip it regularly. •Avoid tea and coffee. Yes caffeine will wake you up and give you a buzz right away. But once the effect wears off; you will feel even more tired and sleepy than you were before. This happens because these drinks dehydrate you. •Have a balanced diet: Eat a heavy and healthy breakfast but have a light dinner. If you feel hungry at night, eat fruits, dry fruits, and salads only. Avoid junk food. •Take a 20-30 minute nap during the day. This shall help you to concentrate better. •As you study, whenever you feel tired or sleepy or even stressed, take a minute to practice yoga- breathing exercises. Concentrating on your breath can help bring more oxygen to the brain which will in turn wake the body up and help clear your mind to study better. All the best!:)

Have u taken iron and calcium during and after pregnancy for six months. Most of the women's stop taking medicines after delivery, which is wrong as u r feeding ur baby u need extra calcium and iron than regular. Which is the cause of back pain weakness, body ache.

I am a 25 year guy and I feel weary every now and then! Afternoon sleep does make me feel a bit better, but after an hour or two, I feel like I am deprived on energy and liveliness again. As of now, I am unemployed and feel like I would be a very big failure in my life! I don't know what my passion is and don't know what to do next! Sometimes even comprehending simple things becomes difficult while talking, I feel like being completely empty with no feelings within. I am honestly very disappointed and feel like I shouldn't have had been born. I feel like I have been only born to bring bad name to my family! I guess I have something called anxiety anxiety too a day ago I had been at a popular restaurant nearby and it felt like everything went blank! I guess I am not fit for 8 hr job as my energy it vanishes within an hour or two! I felt like consulting a psychologist but none of my family member would come forward and I don't have courage to tell this to them! Four years back I had got diagnosed with intermittent Testicular torsion which further hit the bit of confidence I had! I told my closer friends about this that time and thought they would be a huge support and would help me in battling this but instead I was being made fun of, every other day! For the next three years (after the torsion), I couldn't concentrate on anything and feared that I could have the torsion again at any next moment! The more I tried to get the rid of that thought, the more stronger it seemed to became! Hearing my heartbeat was the second biggest fear even today the moment I hear my heartbeat, I try concentrating to something else! I seriously don't know what to do with my life!

I am suffering from pain in legs since 8 months it feels as all nerves are streching and it pains when I sit and get up it takes atleast 25 minutes to stabalise to walk what should I do.

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

My friend is 26 years old, she has pain in the upper right arm and neck region and have tingling sensation in the same arm and peri oral region. Pain aggravates on working with the hand and. Relieves after taking complete rest. MRI says slight bulging in the region of C6, 7 REGION she has this problem since 4-5 months, doctors here are unable to diagnose properly. Hello Lybrate user according to Ayurveda Vata vikriti is the main factor for pain. Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation. 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Diet- Avoid fermented food. Junk food. Potato rice. Sleep well.

DEAR Lybrate USER. This problem is due to irritation and inadequate nutrition of the brain. So follow few basic things …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) eat 5 gm of ajwain seeds along with 5 gm of jaggery after meals. B) take 60 ml of trifala juice along with 20 ml of honey early in the morning and at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions. Thanks.

Your sleep disturbance may be due to sudden change in your life style, increased stress levels, interpersonal relationship issues, work related etc, try meditation, yoga, do not think about any troublesome issues before you go to bed, try to listen to some soft music, read something, keep your mind free from all matters that seem to disturb you.
