Imagine if you wake up in the morning and first thing you see is a red mark on your face. It can be  inflammatory or non inflammatory or could be pimple or acne. Don’t panic, it can be cured if you bring some changes in your routine along with the on-going medication.

1. Emergency Acne Kit

Foremost thing that needs to be done, is to get connected with your dermatologist. He/She will guide you about the role of some medications and their usage in day to day to life.

It is not only one thing that contributes to healthy skin and you. It is a combination of good habits which can help you lead a healthy life.

2. Have a clear eating plan

ELIMINATE all high glycemic index foods whose numbers are above 70 such as refined products like pasta, white breads, biscuits, noodles, pizzas. Say “no” to fried cooking methods as well fried food items like chips, pakora(sounds very yummy, trust me its nutritional value is zero). Limit the intake of too much sugar and sugar sweetened beverages, they just add unwanted fat to your lifestyle , ultimately it can add bad effect to your skin in the form of acne, pimples, dull skin etc.

ADD low glycemic index so that it won’t spike your blood sugar fast. Add more of home cooked meals made up of whole grains , cereals like used more “atta plus fiber” based options like if you are still craving for bread, opt for multigrain. Try to choose healthy food ingredients.Include 2 to 3 servings of vegetables and fruits in your diet.

ADD Antioxidants like more of vitamin C, E. Rich sources of vitamin C are oranges, amla, green chilies, broccoli, lemons, papaya, strawberries and some more green vegetables. Nuts, seeds , fish contain good amount of vitamin E.

ADD good fat in your diet - omega 3 fatty acids. They are present in seeds, nuts, various oils like olive oil and mustard oil.

Try to include low fat dairy products in diet. Probiotic curd  is a good option as it contains good bacteria which is healthy for your stomach that can help you with skin breakouts.

3. Keep yourself hydrated

Keep sipping water throughout the day. It should not be more or less. The recommended level is 10 -12 glasses in a day. Fluids could be plain water or green tea.This will make your skin supple, clear and free of toxins.

A migraine is something, which can really make a person’s day go from bad to worse. However, while popping an aspirin may be the age old solution for solving such a literally mind numbing issue, it really does not mean that this is the best solution. Theoretically, the best solution to a migraine should come naturally to the person, who is unfortunately the victim of a migraine.

It is more than a headache
When a person has a migraine, he or she is likely to know that this is the case due to a pulsating sensation behind the eye. In addition to this, there are quite a few other symptoms which include pain on one side of the head, nausea and a sensitiveness to light in its various forms.

Natural treatments for migraine
There are a range of possible natural solutions a person can make use of to get rid of migraine hits. 

  1. One of these solutions is quite simple, even if it sounds a little odd! Take a few cabbage leaves, crush them and using a soft cloth, apply the paste on the forehead of the person who is having a migraine attack.
  2. While a person who is down with migraine may feel that life has given him or her lemons, he or she should really not despair. This is because these lemons can be made use of, as well, in order to make the ill effects of the migraine go away. To do this, take five lemons, peel them, grind them well and then add a little bit of water to make a paste. Apply this paste to the patient’s forehead.
  3. Apart from using remedies to cure migraine, there are a few other things which are needed to be done in order to get up and running as soon as possible. One of these things is to get enough rest. Taking into account the fact that a migraine has the potential to severely hinder the prospect of a person functioning normally, for a person to push himself or herself against the intense migraine discomfort so as to fulfil his or her responsibilities will not only result in substandard work, but will also make the situation worse.
  4. Hot and cold compress can also go some way in improving a person’s migraine problem. 
  5. All beverages apart from water and tea should be avoided. Water hydrates and is essential while tea is diuretic.

If you follow these natural remedies, you will successfully be able to treat your migraine issue. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

My HB is 7.8,TLC is 2500, ESR 44, Serum creatinine 1.3,uric acid 5.8. Rest all reports are OK. I have cough since last 6 moths and sputum is produce since three or four days. I have weight loose 12 kg in six months. Chest X-ray and CECT thorax chest is OK. Low grade fever also some time 101 to 102 fever continuously for 3 to 4 days. Shortness of breathing. Pls advice.

I have asthma but it is in control ,when I having some sweet things it will be raising ,when someone shout on me or in emotion or in angry it will b raised ,it is very hard to breath ,also when we run or walk speed ,i can't enjoy any sweet items I'm sacrificing all I like I have consulted doctor he giving treatment since 4 years ,he had given me to use FORMONIDE 400 ,when I'm suffer to breath he told to use this, I'm using but I didn't understand when it will be cured ,is it have any end to asthma ,what care should be taken ,i'm sacrificing all things which I like very much I should sacrifice every things in my oral life ,is it any way which is very use full for me plzzz help me ,i think due to this diseases I'm very thin, i'm not becoming fat ,how much I eat it is no use I'm in same weight 47 ,is it because of asthma ,plzz help me!

Dear lybrate-user asthma is a psychosomatic disease. So try to minimise stress. Sweets rarely cause asthmatic attack. Some time one creates phobias. I hv treated patient who complained allergies to rose flower, she even got asthmatic attack when she saw rose in movies there were no tv at that time. I am going gym everyday but compared to my friends there is no increase in my strength I notice. I can't lift that much thats why can" t puff up my body what should I do. Thanx in advance.

Hye. Thanks for the query. If you're a beginner at gyming, first you need to increase your upper and lower body strength before you hit the weights. You need to start with basic exercises to increase your strength a little bit and get your body into shape. A lot of youngsters when they start out bodybuilding or gyming they go in the gym with the intention of jumping into heavy weights and dumbells from the first day itself. They go to the rack and pick up the largest weight they think they can lift. Not only are you going to be struggling to lift the weight but your form is so sloppy and you have not practice that you can hurt yourself more than increasing your muscles. Bodybuilding or gyming is not about lifting heavy, its all about proper technique and physique. A lot of times at the gym as soon as you are starting out, you are just working out the same muscle day in and day out, eg your biseps. You are tearing your muscle instead of letting it grow. You must let your muscles grain strength, practice and rest before you can work that muscle. Your muscles are not growing when you are working out but when you are resting. Another point  to remember is proper nutrition. You have to watch what enters your body. You need to not only eat to manage workout but also your growth and development.  Poor nutrition can lead to poor or stunted growth. So, if you concentrate on all these factors you can see better results.
