Hi. A woman’s libido is the desire for sexual intercourse. Common causes of lack of sexual desire include exhaustion, poor self-esteem, or an unhappy relationship. A significant cause may be hormone imbalance from childbirth, chemical birth control or other hormonal changes. Stress, melancholy along with getting older are normal cause. Medication: Give her Avena Sativa Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water and Five Phos. - both thrice daily. Management: 1. Talk openly with your partner about her sexual urge or preferences 2. Daily exercise is helpful to increase sexual drive, ask her to do so 3. Try to keep your body free from obesity, ask to reduce weight (if she is over weight) 4. Ask her to take a balance diet filled with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit 5. Tell her to learn to relax and de-stress by meditating 6. Stop smoking (if she does so) 7. Alcohol has bad affects to sexual function and desire 8. Avoid illegal and powerful sexual drugs Regular exercising will keep her fit and healthy! So, here are few exercises for her: Practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. Not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. One can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises. These exercises are good for gaining and maintaining good health. Also, let her practice Pelvic floor exercise or Kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. In order to locate your pelvic muscles try to stop and begin the flow of urine as using the bathroom. You can perform Kegel exercises with the empty bladder as exercising pelvic muscle with the full bladder might result in urinary tract infections. Kegel exercises are employed to strengthen the pubococcygeal muscle and other muscles of the pelvic diaphragm. Kegels can help men achieve stronger erections, maintain healthy hips, and gain greater control over ejaculation. The objective of this may be similar to that of the exercise in women with weakened pelvic floor: to increase bladder and bowel control and sexual function. Foods which increases the sex drive: Chillies, peppers, avocados, bananas, chocolates, oysters, pomegranate, red wine, cherries, strawberries, walnuts, vanilla, watermelon, coffee and spicy food. (women are fond of chocolates, vanilla ice creams, cherries)

Hello, I'm writing this on behalf of my girlfriend. She underwent laparoscopy in both her ovaries to remove the cyst. And the condition of her left ovary was very critical so a part of the ovary had to be operated. The operation took place in December 3rd. And after that she was under medication. A week ago she underwent an usg and the result showed that there is no sign of pcos but peripheral cysts have been found. What does this mean?

In pcod those cyst are going to be there and does not need any treatment. This is normal finding in pcod. Also pcod patients develop larger cysts also again and again which does not any surgery or laparoscopy. They resolve in a month or two without any treatment. As they were on both sides, they were 100% functional cysts specially in a girl who has pcod. Laparoscopy was not needed at all. Do not worry about those small cysts now, they r going to be there.

Using contraceptive pills will solve both your problems. But it will take at least 10 days of continuous use before they are 100% effective.

I am female 26 age weight 89 kg. Married from 2 years. Usually my period are regular and cycle of 31 days but few from few month it disturbed. I got period on 22 jan and I was expecting my period on 22 feb but its not come and I look 3 urine test and 1 beta test for pregnancy and unfortunatly all was negative. After 22 jan, my period came on 22 march. Again in this month my period should be on 22 april but again till now no period. I wondering whats happening with me.

HOW TO MAKE ALKALINE WATER AND NORMALIZE YOUR BODY’S PH!

Water is the most valuable resource in the world. After all this years we begin to understand that. About 70 percent of the human body and brain are made up from water.

2 Ltr water, clean filtered water (if only tap water is available, than use that one)

She should start eating dry food like biscuits from waking in the bed before you brush your teeth. And eat holy the various forms of biscuits, chi da, or any food in small bits.

Hello- There is a slight change in the periods cycle due to several factors like, fasting, fever, constipation, over exertion, lack of sleep etc. So better wait for a week more and if still periods are delayed then go for a urine pregnancy test at home on 3rd of January (before this it will not come positive) for pregnancy confirmation.

Infertility - Are You at Risk?

Infertility is a condition where a couple is trying to conceive in a natural way and is not able to do so even after one year of trying. It is also a matter of worry for patients who are over the age of 35 years and those who are not able to conceive naturally even after 12 months of trying constantly. So here are the causes, risks and treatment for this condition.

Causes: There are many causes of infertility. It may be down to a condition present in one or both partners. As per a medical study, 20% of the cases of infertility are due to males, while 40% to 50% cases are due to problems in the female partner. 30% of the cases suffer from infertility due to problems in both males and females. Ovulation and fertilisation are the main elements of the conception process, and any condition in the female or male can upset either function which can make it difficult to conceive. While abnormal sperm production and transport may be a common condition that leads to infertility in males, other factors like side effects of cancer treatments and too much exposure to toxins and chemicals can also play an important role in this regard. For females, the causes of infertility may range from ovulation disorders, uterine and fibroid tumours, uterine and cervical anomalies, damage to or blockage of the fallopian tubes, endometriosis, primary ovarian insufficiency and pelvic adhesions. Also, factors like thyroid, cancer and medication leading to temporary infertility may be at play. 

Risk: There are a number of factors that put a male or a female at risk of infertility. Being in your mid 30s usually has an adverse effect on the ovulation and production of well functioning sperm. Further, smoking and tobacco are among the main causes of infertility in either partner. Excessive alcohol consumption may also lead to this problem. Being overweight or underweight can also make a person infertile. Further, not getting enough exercise and routine activities out of your day, can lead to this condition as well. 

Treatment: Male patients can go through treatment for any existing infections, hormonal injections and medication, surgical options like vasectomy reversal, and ART or assistive reproductive technology. Female patients can turn to medication that will stimulate ovulation, Intrauterine Insemination, and surgical processes to correct a uterine septum and remove endometrial polyps, or even a hysteroscopy surgery. 

If these methods fail, the patient or the couple can always turn to methods like in-vitro fertilisation. For other mild reasons, lifestyle changes along with a stress free environment can help in increasing the chances of conception. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Please understand prevention is always better than treatment. No medicine gives 100% prevention from pregnancy. All contraceptive have failure rate. Same applies to femilon 21 It has to be consumed as early as possible after coitus. Depending upon it, we can have its maximum success, but never 100%

Pregnancy can put quite a strain on your body. As your body changes to accommodate the growing baby, you may find yourself suffering from a few common discomforts associated with the various stages of pregnancy. Most of these are nothing to worry about. Here are a few of the most common problems faced by pregnant women.

  1. Backaches: As the body’s ligaments stretch and become softer to prepare for labour, you may feel a strain on your lower back and pelvis. This can cause a chronic backache. The growing weight of the fetus within your body can also add to this discomfort.
  2. Morning sickness: Despite its name, morning sickness can affect you at any time of the day. Most women begin to experience nausea and an urge to vomit from the 4th or 6th week of pregnancy, but this usually resolves itself by the 16th or 20th week of pregnancy. Some women may even feel sick for the entire day.
  3. Bleeding gums: Pregnancy hormones can make your gums more vulnerable to the build-up of plaque. This can lead to inflammation and bleeding gums. This condition may also be known as pregnancy gingivitis.
  4. Cramps: Many pregnant women complain of cramps in their calves and feet. This usually is more common at night, but the cause behind it is not clear.
  5. Urinary incontinence: Urinary incontinence is a problem experienced by many women during and after pregnancy. They often find themselves involuntarily urinating while coughing, laughing or sneezing. In most cases, this is a temporary problem caused by the relaxation of pelvic floor muscles (to prepare for delivery) and should resolve itself after delivery. Women may also find themselves feeling the urge to urinate frequently. This may be because of the pressure being placed on your bladder by the uterus.
  6. Skin and hair changes: Pregnancy hormones can make birthmarks, moles and freckles darken. Your nipples may also turn darker. In addition to this, you may notice the bumps around the nipples become more prominent. Pregnant women may also find their skin more prone to sunburns. You may also notice an increased rate of hair growth.
  7. Feeling hotter than normal: The hormonal changes occurring during pregnancy can make you feel warmer than normal because of increased blood supply to the skin. You may also find yourself sweating more than usual. In addition, you may also feel faint because of decreased blood supply to the brain. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Gynaecologist.

Hi, irregular diet, sudden weight loss, ectopic pregnancy may be the cause, I would suggest you to do urine pregnancy test done again, and have a consultation with gynaecologist.
