Kindly show me x-ray of your knee. In the mean time you may sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. Eat plenty of water and food enriched with vitamins and a small amount of fat. Eat a heavy breakfast and lighter dinner. Sleep for at least 7-8 hrs.

I'm living in New Zealand for last two years in between I am gaining my weight fastly because of work no proper time for eating or proper diet doing physical work but no time for exercise. Yes you are overweight, to control your weight you have to control on your diet. Simply drink warm lemon water early in the morning, no sugar n honey. Drink Cinnamon tea throughout the day, specially before every meal. Lots of vegetables n fruits you should eat. Cut down your food portion size. Choose low fat mayonnaise or fat free. Increase water content. Include high fibre cereals. For snacks if you can eat murmurs bhel, sprouts, chana chor. Take time to do yoga n avoid cold drinks n sugary juices. Have fresh juices n fruits.

Ayurveda and Knee Pain

Ayurveda is a very old system of medicine, which originated in India. Using herbs found in nature to cure various illnesses, knee pain can also be permanently cured with this method indigenous to India. It reduces knee pain caused by various illnesses including arthritis, inflammation of the cartilage and wearing of the patella among others.

Here are some common Ayurvedic remedies, which help reduce knee pain:

  1. Alfalfa: Alfalfa is medically known as Medicago Sativa. Alfalfa is excellent for making sure that your joint pain reduces, when taken in liquid form four times a day.
  2. Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is medically known as Withania Somnifera. In the West, Ashwagandha is popularly known as Winter Cherry. Also, it has a lot of therapeutic properties, which include reducing joint pains. 
  3. Banyan: The Banyan tree's medical name is Ficus Benghalensis. It has a sap very similar to the form of rubber known as latex is derived from the Banyan tree. The Banyan tree's sap is externally applied over the joints and the pain usually disappears after a few regular applications. 
  4. Bishop's weed: The medical name for Bishop's weed is Trachyspermum Ammi. The oil extracted from this herb is usually applied to the knees to reduce the intensity of such knee pains.
  5. Celery: The medical name for celery is Apium Graveolens. Celery is not only an effective treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and associated pains in the knees, but it is also helpful in treating gout. It is usually agreed upon that this particular treatment is usually long lasting because of its alkaline nature.
  6. Dandelion: Dandelion's biological name is Taraxacum Officinale. It is rich in magnesium and is crucial for the correct mineralization of the bones. This mineralization allows the bones to become stronger and also prevents knee pain.
  7. Garlic: The medical name for garlic is allium sativum. Five to six cloves eaten everyday has proved to reduce knee pains.
  8. Ginger: Ginger is biologically called Zingiber Officinale. These can be easily included in your diet and go a long way in curbing knee pain.

According to your height your weight is okay. No need to increase the weight. Take proper nutritious diet full of protein. You may take boiled eggs soyabeans salads green veg. Smoothy juices etc. Drink more eat less.

Do regular exercise like weight lifting exercise and other muscle building exercise as it will help to gain weight. And do a medical check up. Eat more foods more frequently. Use bigger plate. Use 300-400 ml of whole bream milk. Eat banana, chikoo, grape, mango and other dense fruits and dense vegetables. Take more unrefined foods. Take protein like fish, egg, lean meat, tofu, cottage cheese, yogurt, mushroom. Add extra healthy fat in diet. Use weight gainer supplement. Eat nuts and seeds. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink lots of water but not just before and during meals. Sleep for 7-8 hours and lead a stress free life.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

All three are equally good. Ground nut oil contains MUFA. Sunflower & Rice Bran has PUFA. A good diet should have a balance of all oils. Hence it is best to rotate the oils. One oil for one month and then change to next.

Do regular exercise. Take 2 glass of water. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, milk and milk products, sprouts, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. No drink before meals.

The reason of not gaining weight are * improper diet * indigestion (disease of stomach, loose motions) * worms in intestine * thyroid disorder * diabetes *addiction (smoking or alcoholism) dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3.
