To gain weight change food habites. Add in your daily food carbohydrates, rich proteins, vitamines,minirales, green vegitabales, salad,milk end milk products. Do arobic excersices, yoga,will help. Diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve body fat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat. I can also suggest home remedies.

Sir, my problem is over weight. I am taking 2 slice Brown bread with some namkeen, after 1-2 one cup tea, in lunch I am taking 2 roti with one bowl dal and any seasonal vegetable. And I am taking dinner at 8-8: 30p. M in which there is 2 roti with vegetable and salad. I am not eating so much then why my weight is gaining too much.

Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits, sprouts and vegetables in your diet. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night. Take small and frequent meals.

How can I gain weight withing 1 month. I want to gain at least 10 kgs of weight within a month.
Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

I am doing gym from last one year and reduce my weight from 87 to 77 kg but from last two months there is no change in my physique, when I talk to my trainer regarding this he suggest me to take injected test steroids while doing heavy workout with it, frequency of injections is 3 per week (one in 2 day) bt I am little worry about taking this, please suggest me what to do.

No do not go for any injection at all. Don't worry change your diet and workout plans. Include more weights in your workout to make it more challenging.

There are various reasons for getting hair fall. Nutritional deficiency, stress, acute illness like malaria, typhoid, jaundice, chronic illness like diabetes, thyroid can trigger the hair fall, Smoking, excessive alcohol intake. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Any deficiency can lead to hair fall. Take Proteins are more in sprouts, beans, nuts, soya. Green, help to nourish the hair roots. Take lots of salads, diced fresh fruit, Green Leafy Vegetables like Spinach, Lettuce, Leafy Greens, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Beans and Green Peppers, Almonds/4 Walnuts on alternate day’s and 2Dates/2Figs on also alternate day’s and 2 prunes daily. One glass of Milk per day if possible cow’s milk,, 10 – 12 glass of water per day.

Lybrate-user ji you have neither mentioned your age nor your weight and height. This things are very important for knee pain. If your weight is more for your height you need to reduce it. Knee pain wil b due to it most of the time. If your age is more say more than 55 or 60 you may have damaged cartilaze of your joint for that you need to consult an irthopadician who in turn wil advice you to undergo an x ray and an mri. From which he will diagnose your problem nd give you some medicine to rejuvunate your cartilase. Along with it he will advice you to strength your qudriceps muscles for which you need to visit a physiotherapist. You need to stopusing stairs. Do not sit on floor I mean do not use indian toilet instead use western toilet. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree means use dinning table to take you lunch dinner or breakfast do not sit on floor. Do not squate. And if he feels that the damage is unrepairable than he will advise you to undergo a surgery that is knee replacement.

Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

What type of diet you r taking. It depends on your weight and digestion. Daily morning start to take half tsp of turmeric powder with water. Be alert about your digestion and constipation. Take herbal tea and soup daily.

Well rather than counting calories, eat 6 nutritious meal throughout the day. Have banana shake, dry fruits, nuts, cow ghee, paneer, eggs, chicken everyday.
