In short if there's no problem other than this, please start dashmularishta 15 ml + equal water thrice a day. Parijat leaves may be obtained through some gardener and boil about 10-15 leaves in a litre of water. When it remains 1/4, make it naturally cool and drink daily ( may be two times in divided doses). Hi this is sbsolutely normal, during metabolism certain chemical reaction r on, which demands oxygen to minimise co2, yawning provides oxygen. By 4 pm digestive process gets an end to b ready for next shift. Take, plenty of water but after an hr of a meal. Go for a walk to restore blood circulation. Go for meditation to reduce your stress and to nourish total digestive system & to store plenty of oxygen to check yawning. Tk care.

Sir. My right knee' s flesh upper right flesh used to pain when I just simply touch it by pressing it. Sometimes in climbing stairs it pains. I refered to the doctor he says no arthritis but knee cap doesnt pain only flesh pain and it is little fluffy as compared to other knee' s flesh. Tell me what shuld I do is it serious?

Hi, your pain is due to muscle weakness of thigh. Concentrate on quadriceps, hamstring strengthening. If you plan to go to gym, its well and good. Do extension curls, ham curls and leg press, static cycling in gym. Icing for 10 mins by covering cloth over ice packs is very important to reduce pain. Check for any foot wear modification. Wear soft sole shoes / slippers.

Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

Hi, to build your body the right way, you need to take good protein foods in the diet which are low in fats, distribute your meals over the day into 5-6 times, and also do good weight bearing or strength trading exercises, or you could join a gym too.

You need to go to a dietitian and chalk out a diet plan. Reduce high carbohydrates and fatty foods in your diet. Take small frequent meals with lot of vegetables fruits and salads. Go for regular exercise atleast 5 days a week. Also start regular calcium in your diet.

Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days l-carnitine 500mg od/bd x5 days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. dear siddesh, it is commom to have knee pain in youngsters. do not worry about it. make a roll of a towel put it under you knee and press it 10 times twice day. apply diclofenac ointment with warm water. which helps in reducing pain

Take tea without milk for weight loss.

Beware, especially if you want to lose weight - don't add milk to tea, or you would pile on the pounds.

Scientists have discovered that tea contains high levels of compounds that help reduce the amount of fat but proteins found in cows' milk neutralize this fat-fighting ability.

New research has shown that the compounds, called theaflavins and thearubigins, prevent obesity when given to rats that were also on a high-fat diet.

Researchers now believe this could explain why people in Britain appear not to benefit from the healthy affects of tea despite being among the world's biggest consumers of the beverage, the Telegraph reports.

Devajit Borthakur, a scientist at the Tea Research Association at Jorhat in the Indian state of Assam, said: "When tea is taken with milk, theaflavins and thearubigins form complexes with the milk protein, which causes them to precipitate"

"It means that we don't get the health benefit from these compounds nor from milk protein. Therefore, it is always advised to take tea without milk"

A study by scientists in Japan, reveals that extracts from tea leaves inhibit the absorption of fat in the guts of rats being fed high-fat diet.

These rats also had less fat tissue on their bodies and lower fat content in their livers, reports the Journal of Nutrition.

Hiroaki Yajima, a scientist with the Kirin Beverage Company in Japan who carried out the Japanese research, said: "Black tea extracts may prevent diet-induced obesity by inhibiting intestinal lipid absorption"

How To Reduce Belly Fat?

Belly fat may not be a severe medical problem in most individuals. However, it looks aesthetically displeasing and can affect long term health if not controlled at the right time. However, one must keep in mind that dieting and exercising go hand in hand. One cannot rely only on one of them to reduce belly fat. 

Mentioned below are a few ways to remove belly fat:

  1. Avoid sugar: Sugar and other sweetened products must be avoided. Excessive intake of sugar floods the liver with fructose which is then turned to fat. This leads to insulin resistance and metabolic problems. Eliminate sugary drinks and try unsweetened beverages like tea or coffee. However, caffeine, too, must be taken in moderate amounts.
  2. Eat protein: Protein is considered to be the most important macronutrient when it comes to losing weight. Most of the calories in protein are digested. It is the single most effective change in terms of calorie intake since it reduces your craving by 60% and boosts your metabolism.
  3. Limit your intake of carbohydrates: Cutting carbohydrates from your diet reduces your appetite and therefore belly fat. Consuming only 50 grams of carbohydrates per day assists in losing weight fast.
  4. Other dietary changes: Eat foods that are rich in fiber and do not skip meals. If you starve yourself for long periods of time, the body conserves fat by breaking down muscle tissue. Hello mam. You need to increase your caloric intakes by about 500 to 1000 calories per day. Extra 500 calories/day will help you gain up to one pound in one week. Tips to increase calorie in diet and gain weight: 1) eat three main meal (breakfast, lunch dinner). In addition eat two to three snacks a day in between meals. 2). Snacks should be of high calorie such as milk shakes, yogurt, high carbohydrate food- banana. 3). Eat more complex carbohydrates like whole-grain breads, pasta and brown rice etc. 4) never skip your breakfast and include 1 egg and fruit juice to your breakfast. 5). Eat bigger than normal portions for your regular meals. 6). Choose high-quality protein sources such as eggs, meat, fish, milk, seeds, protein supplements etc. Your body needs 0.8gm/body-weight (kg)/day of protein to build new muscle. 7). Eat starchy vegetables (potatoes, peas, cauliflower, pumpkin, sweet potatoes). 8). Consume nuts, fruits like banana, dried fruits like dates as snack between meals. 9). Eat healthy fats in moderation such as olive and canola oil, nuts, seeds, peanut butter to your diet. 10). Do not drink water before meals. 11) if it is possible, drink shakes, milk, juice, etc. Instead of tea, coffee and diet sodas. Good luck.

Dear doctor, my baby (daughter) is 7 months old. She only likes to take her mother's milk. Her mother was having sufficient milk earlier. But now she is not having like before. Five food groups namely  cereals (like rice, wheat in any form, oats in any form ), pulses  (like any dal), vegetables, fruits and animal protein  (meat, fish, egg, milk in any form )should be present in adequate amount in the food of your baby. Basic principles of feeding are 1) it should be acceptable I. E. Kids should like eating it. 2) tolerable i.e. After  eating if baby develop abdominal distension,  vomiting, loose stool,  rash that means your baby can't tolerate the product.  3) appropriate consistency I. E. Porridge like with gradual change so that by the age of 2 normal adult foods can be given to the kids.  4) all the food groups should be present in the menu of whole day. Take her weight every month to see for weight gain.

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. If you want ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, then consult me privately. There is a very good ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, that increases 3 to 8 kg weight in the 1st month itself, without any side effects.
