I am suffering from back pane from last few months I can't sit or stand longer in a place.

I am suffering from back pane from last few months I can't sit or stand longer in a place.
Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. (The mind and body are deeply connected. If the mind is occupied by thoughts and worries then the shavasana will be unsuccessful. Therefore one has to acquire the stability of the mind along with the stability of the body.) Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hi guys, I am Dr Ashwani Maichand and I am Orthopaedic surgeon based in Delhi. Today, orthopaedic problems are very common over all age groups and patients are coming to us to not only for trauma but for a backache, neck pain, knee pain which is generally lifestyle problems So today we will be talking about how to prevent them before you go to a doctor you go for a surgery, can we identify these problems in advance and can we treat them. Let's talk about that backache generally patient come to us either with a low backache or with upper back, the upper back ache is in our experience is more of a young age problem people who are working on a computer laptop, the whole day they are sitting, they are working in offices. Generally, Orthopaedic surgeon and many general practitioners and sometimes we ourselves label them as cervical spondylosis and these patients are by mistake are being treated as a patient of cervical spondylosis but they are not suffering from it. What they are suffering from is a muscle imbalance. The muscles in our staple in our upper back they are basically holding our upper limbs but when we are sitting whole day long, the muscles on the anterior part of the body, the front of the body they become shorter and the muscles on the back they become weak, so the whole weight of our arms and the shoulder it comes on the neck and these patients present as neck pain and upper back pain instead of going for x-rays, MRI and extensive investigation. They should assist an orthopaedic surgeon where we label that these muscles are weak, these muscles are tight so we stress the tight the muscle we strengthen the weak muscles we correct their posture we look at their workstation there office which type of chair they are using at what height their system is placed where their mouse is there where their keyboard so these are very basic things, they come in Ergonomics. So it is all about changing your lifestyle, let's not adapt to the system that is given to us all working atmosphere rather we change the working environment according to our body so that these problems don’t bother you don't have to visit the Orthopaedic surgeon you don't have to take a leave so it is basically lifestyle problem. Second, our younger generation is not active athletically there sunlight exposure is very low and their meals are very irregular and its not a balanced diet so overall this lifestyle, It ultimately gives us pain discomfort and we rely on painkillers and we go to doctors and its like basically our whole system is disturbed because we are not careful about our body. So that is the message please take care of your body mentally as well as physically so that you never need a doctor, but unfortunately, if you are suffering from any of these conditions, you can contact us on Lybrate. We are available online we are available at a clinic. So you have the contact you have the details so you can contact us.

Dear low back pain k liye you can do it perfectly. 1, lying on your stomach, prop yourself up on your forearms. Align your elbows directly under your shoulders. Press firmly through your palms and the tops of your feet. Press your pubic bone forward. You will feel sensations in your lower back, but breathe through it. You are allowing blood flow int from all-fours, bring your right knee behind your right wrist with your lower leg at a diagonal toward your left hip. Square off your hips toward the ground. Bend forward. Widen the elbows and place one hand on top of the other as a pillow for your forehead. Hold 2-3 minutes and then switch to the left side for 2-3 minutes. O the lower back for healing. Hold for 1-3 minutes. 2. Lying on your back, bend both knees with the feet flat on the ground. Bend the right knee like a figure four, with the outer left ankle to the right thigh. Lift the left foot into the air, bringing the left calf parallel to the ground. Thread your right hand between the opening of the legs and interlace your hands behind your left thigh. Hold 2-3 minutes and then repeat on the other side 3scoot your buttocks all the way into the wall and swing your feet up the wall. This pose is excellent for relaxing the muscles of the lower back and drains stagnant fluid from the feet and ankles. Do this pose after a challenging workout and always after traveling by plane. Hold for 5-10 minutes. I hope you will fit and fine. Thanks.
