Hi, you r obeased by 10 kg, approx, obaesity - can be reduced, by opting - certain natural norms in life. Go for a brisk walk in d morning to restore blood circulation to nourish d whole body. *tk, plenty of water to eliminate toxins and to regulate metabolism to burn fats cell. Go for meditation to reduce your stress and to nourish cell& tissues to curb fats cells. * go for cycling, jogging, swimming, skipping, gardening, playing badminton. * opt staircase, instead of a lift. * tk, oats with green tea in d breakfast. * tk, salad, fruits, sprouts in ample qty in lunch. * consume salad, fruits whenever you feel hungry. Dear sir, I am 69 years old male person suffering through acute pain on back, diagnosed as spondylitis in mri and also having persistent pain, tiredness and weakness in both legs, so morning walk is not possible and walking on foot for the distance like 200-300 meters is not easy for me. I also having cervical spondylitis for last 25-30 years, feeling slight pain on neck, shoulders and both arms. It is also difficult for me to have a good sleep in night or to lay down on back during rest in day time. However life is going on. I am not taking pain killers but taking gabapentin - 600 my mri report dt. 25/11/2014 read as under: 1. Vertebral bodies are osteoporosis. 2. Grade - I spondylolisthesis noted at l4 over l5 with anterolisthesis of l4 related to l5.3. Cord is low lying and terminating at l3-l4 level. 4. Diffuse posture-lateral disc protrusion at l4/l5 inter-vertebral level indenting the thecal sac, narrowing it with bilateral nerve roots compression. 5. Mid disc bulge noted at l5/s1 inter-vertebral level indenting the thecal sac & narrowing it. 6. Marked degenerative changes noted in form of disc desiccation & marginal osteophytes formation at various corners of lumbar vertebra. My question is there any remedy / treatment for my problem at your institute? are you sure or can you assure me for a perfect treatment to lead normal life, is my problem curable for certain? if yes, then who is the expert doctor to solve my problem, can you suggest me the name of doctor? hope to hear some positive answer soon. Tips for weight gain:- Meals quantity/intake should be increase. Easily digestible foods like potato and sago should be included. Eat dried fruits, sweet, fried food (serving/ day). Fluids should not be taken or with meal but only after a meal so food intake is not reduced. •Emotional well being is essential to have a good appetite. •Constipation reduces the appetite so the bowel movement should be regulated with adequate fluids, exercise and fruits. •Synthetic drinks, soft drinks alcohol, too much of tea and coffee reduces the appetite and should be avoided.

You should do massage one inch above and one inch above the knee and under the hollow portion of the knee and four fingures below the knee 15 times each point daily at night for ten days.

Ideal weight for 5'8" is 60 kg. 1. Avoid fried, fatty, spicy, gravy & junk foods 2. Drink 3 litres water daily but not just before or with meal 3. Have small frequent meals at 2-3 hrs interval instead of 3-4 large ones 4. For weight gain, include foods high in nutrient & calorie density but low in volume- ex: mango lassi, banana kheer, dates-almonds ladoo, til chikki, peanut chikki, bread with peanut butter & cheese omlette, premix with curd/soup, sugarcane juice, mango/bel juice, chicken roll, malt with milk & sugar, paneer paratha/ rice, soyabean cutlet (low oil pan fried), cow/buffalo milk with skim milk powder, rice with ghee, thicker roti with ghee. Include potato & vegetables within dishes or as puree/chutney. 5. Exercise regularly. (strength exercises) 6. Take 10-15 mins light walk post meals & avoid lying down within 1 hr.

U should check your hormonal level, also check your life style n diet take care of nutrition also you can take ashwagandha in 1 glass of warm milk with 1tsp ghee daily acupressure will help you better than all.

You first need to re look at your diet. You need an elimination diet to 1st correct your digestion and once you know what food is best suited for your body, you can start with a muscle gain diet.

Dear lybrate user, of course not. Cough means your air passage and lungs r not clear to retain proper oxygen which will b consumed while running in d field. Hence you need to b cough free, first. Avoid, dust, smoke, alcohol, amok img, junk food, cold intake, exposure to cold. I have a pretty healthy diet, I exercise quite often.
What should I do?
Gaining weight is as difficult as loosing. With proper calorie consuption and exercise you can achive that. To gain weight it is not about eating too much, but eat high energy and protein dense food frequently in small portions. 1 start eating high energy high protein food. Like almond, ground nut, dry coconut, cashew nut etc. 2 start eating jaggery, khajur, etc. Above all are high energy foods. 3 milk and milk products like cheese, paneer, and curd include in your diet. If you are non-vegetarian add eggs, white meat like chicken, fish in your diet. Above all are high protein foods. There are some common advice.

Stay away from spicy, oily, junk food and alcohol. Say no to harmful chemicals, shampoo, hair gel etc. Apply mahabhrinraj oil thrice a weak. If you have dandruff, use nizral shampoo. Take nutritious diet full of protein carbohydrates, calcium and iron. Sound sleep is very necessary for you. Stay away from unnecessary worries.

Hi, Please follow these tips: Don't get too worried and anxious. Relax well. Avoid drinking coffee or tea after 7 PM, Take hot water bath before going to bed. Have light food and drink a glass of warm milk at night. Listen to soothing music or read some magazines while you are on bed. Keep your mobile in silent mode at night. Do not work on your laptop on the bed or watch TV till late night. Sleep in a dark and silent room.

Hello lybrate-user, Though your question is not very clear, I am getting a picture that you are working out without a trainer around, and hence this body changes. When you start working our with a trainer they will usually assess your body type and then start your session initially with warm ups and then with weights and other equipment's. Hence I suggest you start you gym sessions with a gym instructor and see the changes yourself.

Lower back pain you can do it this exercise, 1 Lying on your back, bend your right knee into your chest and place a strap or rolled-up towel around the ball of your foot. Straighten your leg toward the ceiling. Press out through both heels. If the lower back feels strained, bend the left knee and place the foot on the ground. Hold for 3-5 minutes and then switch to the left let for 3-5 minutes. 2…. Lying on your back, bend your knees into your chest and bring your arms out at a T. As you exhale lower your knees to ground on the right. Keep both shoulders pressing down firmly. If the left shoulder lifts, lower your knees further away from the right arm. Hold for 1-2 minutes each side I hope you will fit and fine………………………
