1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.

At present you are low weight. Increase up to 66 kg. Chang food habites. Add in you food carbohydrates, proteins, vitamines, minirales, green vegitsbales, milk end milk products. Do arobic excersices, yoga, walking will help you to fit for all activity in life. Just spent 30 minuties daily fits all times.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Dear lybrate user. Many of the trading high protien powders in the market are having steroids mixed with them which predisposes a person for depression. As you already had an episode of depression in the past, you be cautious of what that powder contains as ingrediants. Spirulina in pure form has no such interactions.

Dear , breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After 7-8 hrs of fasting the body needs nutrition to start off or it will start getting into the reserves. Many people skip breakfast and have a very heavy lunch this creates an environment to give rise to various disease. Depending upon your calorie requirement considering your age as 19 years you need to have around 500 cals in breakfast. It should be a combination of grains (bread toast, roti, paratha), proteins (egg, dals, pulses), fats (milk product, butter, yogurt etc) and micro nutrients which you can get in fresh fruits.

Eating out of home, increased intake of junk foods, stress, not enough intake of nutrition as per body's needs and lack of physical activity is a mojor reason for weight gain. Being a student you have to take care to see that you eat right foods as per the nrrds of the body. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise or indulge in some sports at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.

I believe there is no need to take tablets. You can easily gain weight without medications. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Hello! small n frequent healthy meals with some activity. You can take good quality protein in your diet. Like- milk n products, egg, chicken, dal & products. N visit a dietitian. It will help. The 1st thing you need to take care of is good quality protein, complex carbohydrate n good quality fat. N what you are taking before n after work out is also matter. Aim for around 40-50g carbs and 20-30g protein. This stabilises your hormonal system to enable tissue regeneration and keeps blood sugar stable.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Dont sleep immediately after taking meal.
