Measure your temperature and tell me reading Avoid exertion Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc Get CBC checked and review with reports consult privately

Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defenses against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures..Also, the body's defense mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or more may be dangerous and demand immediate treatment The following medications may be used at home for mild fever : -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used in children during a viral illness. -Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and donot overdress. Overdressing can cause the temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -Fever can cause dehydration.Drink plenty of fluids.Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water especially before meals, or after returning from a public places or using public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Sir my sugar level, bp,tsh, is under control as I am taking thyroxine memory and zyloric regularly my wt reduced from 78 to 68 now lam feeling good but l am detected trace in urine and fatty lever my ecg is normal should l continue above medicine for lifetime. Please guide me.

Thanks for the query. It is difficult to give any opinion without looking at actual levels of FBG, PP & HbA1c%, TSH, BP readings. Plus there's no mention whether you have diabetes. So it will be good if all details are given. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user best way for smooth, oily skin is take Liquorice powder 1 tsf with ghee + warm water daily. Apply Milk + curd + banana + ghee + honey to d skin 15 mins prior to bathing and wash it off. Do not use any soap. For additional alterations and medicines consult personally on Lybrate.

My husband now caught over whattsap having an extramarital affair. Dear lybrate-user, I hope you are doing ok. I am sorry that your husband is having an affair, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. But pls remember that it's not your fault so don't blame yourself. People are unfaithful because of various reasons. The decision to go outside ones marriage is purely our own, we have to take responsibility for that. Having said that, how is he behaving now? Has he admitted to the affair? I would suggest that you have an honest conversation with him, about what this woman means to him, is she is the only woman he has been involved with post marriage etc? I would also suggest couples counselling, this will help you and him reach a decision about the marriage and help you resolve a lot of the things that may not be working in the marriage if you decide to stay together. For now, pls compose yourself, stay calm, deep breathe and think with a clear head. Instead of getting angry and focusing on the problem, focus on the solution. Hope things work out for you. All the best!

To get rid of 5 kg in a month is very easy. You don't need to starve or be dependent on diet charts and gymnasium. Go for simple walks if gymnasium facilities are out of reach. Reduce salt and sugars to bare minimum. Eat only good fats like a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Drink fresh lemon juice and honey added to water every day on empty stomach. Don't eat or drink for next hour. Eat plenty of seasonal vegetables and fruits, never mind the calories, they are healthy calories plus vitamins and minerals. Empty calories are sugar and lipids. Avoid cold drinks and fruits juices also. Eat whole fruits to get fiber, eat one full meal of daal roti chawal etc. Do write back after a month, don't weigh yourself everyday.

Its very low chance to get grow your height because height will grow till 25 yr after puberty it bone start to get epiphysis. And stop increase bone size. If you want to increase your height. Hello. One can increase your stamina by including a well-balanced diet by adding low-fat products, plenty of fruits and vegetables and lean meat. So,increase intake of healthy food (food having anti-oxidants like green vegetables, nuts, salads, fruits, fish, green tea; food rich in calcium like milk & milk products; flaxseeds, poppyseeds), avoid alcohol & smoking, drink lots of water (10-12 glasses per day), take sufficient sleep (6-9hrs per day), avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension, sports like football, basketball and all other sprinting games will help strengthen your heart so that more oxygen reaches all parts of your body, include cardiovascular exercises like running, swimming, jumping etc. and exercise daily for 30-45 minutes (brisk walk is the best exercise to increase the circulation of the whole body), later you can increase the duration as per your stamina. (Do the above slowly and gradually). Medication: Take Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos./ thrice a day daily for 4 weeks.

Hi lybrate user, first make your time table for everything and follow that time table strictly for 45 days. After 45 days you will not feel insomnia or anything. Our biological clock will adjust accordingly. Remember to be on bed everyday at the same time. Do some warm up daily in the morning. This will programmed your body to wake up early. Switch off your mobile while sleeping. Lie on bed and try to relax and focus on your breathing. Any routine if followed till 45 days will become a habit.
