Kegel Exercises These are also known as pelvic floor exercises. They target the pelvic floor muscles to prevent weakening. These exercises are effective at treating loosening around the genitals but only when done on a regular basis. The advantage is that the exercises can easily be done in the convenience of one’s home, allowing one to enjoy the privacy. Aloe Vera This simple herb is useful for many reasons. Not only does it strengthen the muscles around the vagina, but it also eliminates the irritation experienced due to dryness. Furthermore, Aloe Vera also provides fast relief from any other genital related issues that one may be experiencing. Secret Ceres This is an organic herbal stick that is highly potent and serves to cleanse and tighten the private parts internally. Three studies by Natural Body Care confirm the stick’s gynecological benefits when used regularly. Among its many advantages is its ability to increase libido and sensation, rejuvenate a dry vagina, eliminate vaginal odor and re-balance the pH levels of the vagina. Gooseberries These berries help restore the vagina’s elasticity and suppleness within a short period. All you have to do is boil some in water and store the solution. Proceed to apply the solution to your private parts when taking a bath. Witch Hazel This herb also helps tighten the vaginal muscles. You just need to grind the herb into powder form and use it to wash the genitals once a week consistently. Other forms of exercises You may also consider exploring other forms of exercises that target the pelvic muscles. Such include yoga and pilates that tighten the pelvic muscles by strengthening one’s core. Healthy Diet The muscles in the body, overall, require food for proper growth and repair. A healthy diet complete with organic animal protein, fruits and vegetables, and whole grain carbohydrates will go a long way to helping you tighten your muscles. It is not difficult to keep your lady parts in shape. These simple remedies will work wonders for you if you remain consistent.

7 Ways to Avoid Indigestion During Pregnancy

7 Ways to Avoid Indigestion During Pregnancy

What can I do to ease my digestive issues during pregnancy?
What happens when you carry a baby in your womb that weighs a couple of kilos? well, it presses upon your digestive tract and makes digestion an issue for you. However, the baby’s weight is not the only factor that matters here. The massive amount of hormonal changes that your body undergoes also adds greatly to the issue.

Digestive problems are not grave during pregnancy. Instead, they are fairly common everywhere. There are many simple steps that can aid you in easing your digestive process when you are pregnant.

1. Sit up straight:
Since the bulging baby is putting on immense weight on your stomach, you need to sit up straight when eating in order to ease the pressure. Moreover, avoid lying down for at least an hour after having your meal.

2. Wind up the meal size:
Along with winding up the meal size, make sure that you increase its frequency, or else your baby will have to starve.

Instead of having three large meals in a day, try dividing them down to five small meals in 24 hours. Small and frequent meals will keep you from bloating and prevent indigestion issues.

3. Exercise:
Although pregnancy calls for no vigorous activity, it also does not require becoming stationary all at once. When pregnant, you need to carry out 30 minutes of light workout daily, such as walking or riding a stationary cycle. Exercise stimulates adrenaline that in turn promotes bowel movements for a better digestion.

4. Limit caffeine intake:
Caffeine is not going to help with your digestive issues, especially if you are carrying a life in your womb. Hence, try to avoid it, particularly during the night hours.

5. Antacids:
Ask your doctor to prescribe you some antacids that you can consume on a daily basis. Antacids help a lot with indigestion issues.

6. Don’t bend over your waist:
When pregnant, your waist is the part of your body that is suffering the most pressure. Hence, you would want to bother that part of your body at the least. Avoid bending over your waist. If required, do it at your knees.

7. Eat healthy:
Stuffing your stomach with unnecessary carbohydrates will only make it worse for you. Hence, for a healthy baby as well as a healthy digestive system, resort more to healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. Fibre in your diet will help you mobilize your gut for an easy digestion.

Vitamin D - Why it is Important During Pregnancy?

Vitamin D - Why it is Important During Pregnancy?

During pregnancy, it is essential to have a wholesome nutrition to ensure the growing baby receives a wholesome nutrition too. Extremely essential are some minerals and vitamins which have a significant role in the development of the baby. The skeletal development, for instance, is one such crucial event, and the onus is on the mother to ensure the required ingredients in the required quantity are reaching the growing fetus.
Read on to know the importance of vitamin D during the pregnancy period.

Why is it important: With the skeletal development in place, the baby’s teeth and bones begin to take shape. Both these are highly matrix-driven structures and require a good amount of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D is essential to maintain good amounts of calcium and phosphorus in the body.

Complications: Insufficient amounts of vitamin D can produce a range of symptoms from absolutely no issues to severe bone malformations. If not sufficient, the bones and teeth could become hypomineralized and weak leading to fractures, brittle bones, and rickets in newborn children. There are also reported incidents of low birth weight, preterm birth, and higher risks during pregnancy, but these need to be proven yet.

Sources: Top 10 Vitamin D Rich Foods- Sunlight, Cod liver oil, Sardines, Salmon, Mackerel, Tuna, Raw Milk, Caviar, Eggs and Mushrooms.

Risk factors for vitamin D deficiency: People with darker skin, obesity, and fat malabsorption conditions are more prone to develop vitamin D deficiency. With the importance of vitamin D and its role in skeletal development well established, ensure you get the right amounts of it, whatever be the source.

General Physician,
Healthy women, below 38 years old, with normal follicular status at day 3 of the menstrual cycle, have AMH levels of 2.0 - 6.8 ng/ml (14.28 - 48.55 pmol/L). High levels are found in patients with PCOD. So you are normal.
