My mother 48 years old before she getting pain knee after Ayurvedic treatment & acupuncture it stop but after some days legs veins started paining.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will.

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

My Father is 70 years . Recently He is suffering from Right foot pain which is only one side but it is not stable . When the pain arise it migrate all the area in the leg but it gradually goes down after some days . Doctor suggest to change the shoe and give some medicine . But no recovery notice . Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

While playing cricket my thumb got hit by the ball. First day there was swelling but as the day passed the swelling has been decreased. I do not know if there is fracture or not, but i am able to make movement in my thumb, but my thumb is hurting in activities where I need to apply pressure on my thumb example pressing a button hardly or applying pressure between thumb and index finger. Is it a severe injury.

as you are able to do movements properly without any pain then it is not a fracture still you can go for x-ray for proper confirmation of diagnosis you need to do thumb exercises with finger exerciser device., reaching your thumb to all tje fingers, ball press,flexion extension of thumb etc

Sir, 2 months before I am operated for ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction in sports injury center, Safdarjung, New Delhi. But till now I am having difficulty in walking, I can't walk properly and for long distance. So, I want to know that how long will it take to get perfect in walking and without any difficulty. I regular do advised exercises but apart this, is there any need for physiotherapy to recover fast.

Hello. I am a 33 year old male living in Denmark since 10 years. I am originally from India. Recently on my trip to India, I was sleeping on hard mattresses, as is the case usually with beds in India. And for some reason it has probably not gone very well with my back. In Denmark we sleep on very soft mattresses. And my back has usually been pretty good and have had no complaints around it. Even though I have knee problem due to my history in sports. But this time around, the pain has been very consistent. The problem is that when I sit on my bed, in a fairly nice posture, with back straight, and leaning back on a pillow or something, my middle back starts feeling sore and irritates me, and then I have to sit with out any support for a while to relieve the tension. Even when bending sometimes, I can feel the tightness in lower and middle back, can feel its sore. It's been a month and now I am back in Denmark since a week, but still don't see any changes. In general what do you think is the problem and could it be linked to the mattresses? On a side note, an MRI of my lower spine was normal, with a slight slight disc bulge, without any significant nerve compression, according to the radiologist. So I am assuming the structure and things are good, but maybe it's just a passing thing. But still need to do something so it does not get worse, and hopefully to get it back to normal sooner. Kindly suggest. Thank you

hi, You have a slight disc bulge, but you did not mention the exact area. Depending on your history given i can suggest you complete body rest in proper position whenever pain starts. Don't carry heavy objects. Use hip bandage during prolonged sitting and travelling. Make sure to get proper bowel evacuation. You can manage the discomfort and further increase of the condition through traditional ayurveda therapy along with some internal medication. I can suggest you accordingly if you revert back in private consultation.
