My age is 21 and I smoke cigarettes and weed daily and drink occasionally. I am suffering from ankylosing spondylitis arthritis from last 10 years. My height is 5'3 and weight is 40 KGS. I am a male. I want to increase my height by 6-8 inches and want to increase my weight too. I have visited many internet products and I nearly lost 50000 in buying them. They all were fake. I have visited many doctors in forte and homeopathic ayurvedic too but nothing worked. Please help me.

Two glasses of milk contain around 14 gram of protein while the polyunsaturated fats in almond add those extra calories when included in the everyday diet. Crush a handful of almonds and add it to the boiling milk. Simmer it for five minutes. You can sweeten it with a tsp of sugar. Then, pour it in a glass and sip it slowly. To make it more effective, you may put in dates and dried figs in the boiling milk. Drink it twice daily for two months.

Have a sever drop in vitamin levels. Have pain in joints. Can't stand for over 20 - 30 min. I am 34 years old. Used to work in night shifts. Also I am allergic to milk and curd. Need opinion on recovery.

Hi What do you mean by drop in vitamin levels, i understand night shifts can be exhausting, get you calcium, vitamin D levels done, also get CBC , ESR done so that we can see your Hb status. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it doe s not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference?

i feel it may be due to tendon injury. completely wrap with your finger by keeping it straight with the next finger. let it for 2-3 days. try to avoid weight lifting or movements at the joints. you may recover.

i would advise you to go for mri lumbosacral spine to rule out vertebral or disc disease....painkillers will give short relief...avoid prolonged standing or sitting and carrying haevy loads..visit ur nearby neurologist. good luck

Hello hope you should have blood test to get the information on causes of this ailments. Recurrent fever leads to weakness of body. Something as back pain general weakness will rise. Take antl fever medicine. Maintain fluid balance in your body. After testing contact privately to get better consultancy. Ok.

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part (knee & leg). Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear plz elaborate ur ques with more symptoms ...i think u have misprinted some thing 1.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 2.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 3.Take 1 tsf triphala churna daily....n practice yoga daily twice..

Your diet should be balanced. Do strengthening exercises of quads. Hams. & calf muscle to improve to knee stability.

Dear as you mentioned that pain increases in the morning. You have work stress you need to check your sitting posture sit in correct way adjust your chair and monitor screen -do hot fermentation 3 times in a day duration-20 min -do stretches 2 min proper along hold and relax do it for two days then I will tell you further program take care.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Please tell me duration of pain and what was the initiating factor for it? what medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Stiffness of leg muscle can occur for many reasons, however ifyour general health is good you need not to worry. Most often poor water intake, inadequate warm up or unaccustomed activities are the reason. Since how long is this happening? try gentle warm up and stretching before running. Drink a lot of fluid. If nothing helps then you need to c noonsult a doc.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned back pain issue since 2 days but you have also written unusual which you will have to explain what it means? if you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.
