Hi Faritha There could be many reason of weight gain. You are gaining weight due to hormone and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement exm. chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. pannier, egg, chicken.Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. I am suggesting a general diet and supplement for you. I am asking this question regarding my mom's condition. She is having pain in her joints all over the body, the pain is there all the times. We had visited a doctor earlier and after a few x-ray scans, he said she might be having arthritis. But then we had another test (rheumatoid factor) along with other tests at Apollo hospitals (Delhi) where the test came to be negative, and the doctor (a gym doctor) said there were no signs of arthritis. What could be the problem then? Should we visit an orthopaedic? Condition: Pain is not severe but mild and continuous. And even after doing small routine work she starts feeling very tired.

Try some remedies for Joint pain: -Ice packs can be used to soothe hot, swollen joints. -Heat packs help to relax tense, tired muscles. -Splinting of swollen or painful joints may be helpful, a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist (OT) may provide temporary splints for you. -Pace yourself :Overdoing things can increase your pain, but so can not doing enough. Your physiotherapist can advise you on increasing your activity level at a rate you can cope with and on finding the right balance between rest and activity. -Take regular graded exercise :Graded exercise starts slowly and increases in small steps. This will help you to strengthen your muscles and joints and increase your fitness. Improving your general fitness and stamina will help you to increase your activity level without increasing your pain. -Mobilising, stretching and strengthening :Your physiotherapist will assess your muscle strength and the range of movement in your joints, and advise on techniques and exercises so you can keep your joints working as well as possible. Check Vitamin D and Calcium level Best wishes.

Hello Navjot , For pain in legs you can use hot water with 10gms magnesium sulphate in it . He needs to keep his legs in this for at least 30 mins. Regarding cough you haven't mentioned whether it is wet or dry cough. Do verify for proper guidance. Regards, Dr. Heena

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

Hello Sir, I met with an accident 5-6 years back and from that time there is a pain in my right hand at wrist joint. Consider taking less protein diet and increase your physical activity by doing light exercises of all joints you might need some help for pain depending if you have You can ask me in detail about your condition if you feel.

if xrays didnt show any bone injury then it could be that you have soft tissue damage inside the joint. MRI scan will show soft tissue injuries. consult an ortho surgeon and he would be able to advise you after examining your knee.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from Backache(back pain): * First correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back.You can use lumber belt for support. * Do regular back strength exercises.Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * Do not sleep on very soft bed ,sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * Do Tadasana and Bhjangasana for back strengthening.If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * Take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin D supplements regularly. *Do not Take any heavy weight or heavy work. * If you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then Please inform me Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help.

10/7/2017 I hit my knee on bed but after that I feel pain in my knee and my thigh are swelling but not knee. My pain is constant and it increase when I tried to climb on stairs. Now swelling is little less but pain is same. I want to know what is that problem and should I go to hospital.

Pain during climbing up, may be a mild tear in quadriceps or tractional apophysitis. First do a xray, if normal and pain persist then go for MRI. IN the meantime, use knee cap, avoid climbing up and knee bending, use hot cold alternative mild pressure compression and take pain killer with trypsin tablets (tab. Flexion-mr + tab. Chymoral-forte). Rest as much possible. Consult after few days with x-ray.

Since you r sitting for long tym you r having back m neck pain. Make a habit of doing basic exs every day. N after every half an hour get up n walk a bit, it will help you a lot. N follow proper ergonomics sitting wit proper support. Exs lying straight bend both knees pull them up towards your stomach hold for 5counts m leave. Next with knees bend rotate your legs sideways. Dan wit knee bend lift your pelvis hold for 5counts 10 reps. Lie on your stomach hands towards your face n try n cum up like bhujangasan. 10 reps. Dan again on stomach n lift one leg straight up hold for 5counts alternate legs. Each 5 leg 5tyms.

A checkup of vit d and calcium levels. Heat fermentation twice a day. Avoid long standing. Do quadriceps exercise if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment best option for you.
