Hi, if the food you eat is not properly digested and absorbed then how can you gain weight. Nothing will work if this is not proper. Take *alfa malt forte (medisynth) 1tablespoon to be taken twice a day during meals for 1mth *take grd powder 1tablespoon in 1 cup of milk, drink once a day.

When it comes to weight loss, everyone wants it quick and easy. People don’t realize that just like weight gain did not happen overnight; weight loss also cannot be expected with a blink of an eye. In the name of weight loss people follow all sorts of fad diets and funny methods which hardly show them any results. Weight loss basically is eating the right food at the right time. There is no one magic food which leads to weight loss. It is a combination of different foods. Let us discuss 10 foods which effectively help in weight loss. Oats: is extremely high in fiber, hence one portion of oats in the morning for breakfast can keep you full and energetic throughout the day, reducing your caloric intake. Greens: like spinach, methi, broccoli etc are very low in calories and high in fiber, vitamins and minerals thereby reducing water retention and bloating from your body. Beans: like kidney beans, soya beans etc are filled with resistant fiber and proteins which help release energy slowly and keeping you full for a longer time. They also feed your muscles and help them tone up. Lean chicken and fish: are good sources of protein which increase muscle and thereby metabolic rate which helps fat burning and also adds bulk to the meals. Cucumber: is very high in water content and acts as a natural diuretic which helps to reduce water retention and bloating leading to weight loss. . Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Hi. Seborrheic dermatitis is also called dandruff, seborrheic eczema and seborrheic psoriasis. It isn't contagious, and it's not a sign of poor personal hygiene. Few self-care tips can help you control and manage seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff): Soften and remove scales from your hair. Apply mineral oil or olive oil to your scalp. Leave it in for an hour or so. Then comb or brush your hair and wash it. Wash your skin regularly. Rinse the soap completely off your body and scalp. Avoid harsh soaps and use a moisturizer. Avoid products that contain alcohol. These can cause the disease to flare up. Wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. This helps keep air circulating around your skin and reduces irritation. If you have a beard or mustache, consider shaving it off. Seborrheic dermatitis can be worse under mustaches and beards. If this is the case for you, shaving might ease your symptoms. Avoid scratching. Scratching can increase irritation and your risk of infection. Gently clean your eyelids. If your eyelids show signs of redness or scaling, wash them each night with baby shampoo and wipe away scales with a cotton swab. Warm or hot compresses also may help. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Badiaga 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Anti-Dandruff shampoo and Anti-Dandruff oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 1 month.

Hi lybrate-user, I would recommend you for weight reduction, Some tips, a diet chat, and yoga for you. Tips: Avoid single large meals and start small frequent meals 4-5 times in a day. Avoid consuming food at late night. Take fibre rich diet like vegetables and fruits Avoid: Do not eat sugar sweets chocolates ice cream cold drinks sweet biscuits jam cake white bread cheese butter noodles milk and milk product. Diet Chart: You can also follow this chart (1200 calories) 1. EARLY MORNING upama/ poha/oats/ daliya 1 soup bowl or tea without sugar/green tea/black tea with 2 marie biscuits or plane roti 2 small size with 1 small bowl of green vegetable 2.MID MORNING 1 fruit Guava/ orange/apple 3.LUNCH salad 1 medium bowl dal 1 soup bowl green veg 1 small bowl pulka 2 without ghee 4.EVENING tea without sugar/green tea/black tea/lemon water rosted chana /muri 5. DINNER salad 1 medium bowl dal 1 soup bowl green veg 1 small bowl pulka 2 without ghee 6. LATE NIGHT 1 glass of skim milk without sugar and you could add horliks. Yoga: 1. Anulaoma vilom 2. Hello, you are in overweight range but not yet in obesity grade. Its now your time to stop from gaining and start losing your fat first of change all your diet habits. Take more of protein. N go with minimum food in evening. Take cumin soaked overnight and take empty stomach next morning. Boil it to half and drink lukewarm. Be stress free.

Dear Lybrate User, *Fresh vegetables such as beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, leafy greens, onions, garlic, peppers and sprouts will help increase the light element in the body. Fruits to favor include; berries, apples, pears, pomegranate, raisins, lemons, prunes and apricots. Generally heavier and sweet fruit and vegetables such as potatoes, cucumber, zucchini, bananas, coconuts, avocados, oranges, grapes and pineapples are best avoided. *Physical exercise, Yoga, Breathing exercise necessary. *Avoid junk foods, maida related foods.

Pay close attention to your food choice. ·        Eat less carbohydrate food sources like chapatti, rice, noodles, pasta, bread etc as they help in gaining weight and storing fat. ·        While having lunch or dinner eat vegetables and dal to fill your stomach rather eating lots of chapattis or rice. ·        Have a healthy breakfast like poha, idli, upma, plain dosa, oats, dalia or khichdi with vegetables. ·        Eat a balance diet including good quality proteins like: fish, lean chicken and eggs. If you are a vegetarian then include skimmed milk, low fat paneer, butter milk, soy bean or soy milk in your diet. ·        Avoid ghee, butter or vanaspati. Prepare your diet with vegetable oil like sunflower, safflower soybean or olive oil. ·        Eat plenty of salads. ·        Eat fresh fruits including apple, orange, pineapple, papaya, sweet lime, berries, guava, watermelon, mask melon etc. ·        Avoid eating outside junk and fried foods like pizza, pasta, roll, burgers, cakes, chocolates and cookies. ·        Have an early dinner. The earlier the better, giving your system more time to digest the food. ·        Avoid cold drinks/alcohol as they add empty calories to your diet. ·        Avoid fat enriched milk products like cheese, sweets, full fat cream etc. ·        Drink 3 liters of water in a day. ·        Try to have less sugar in food and beverages. ·        Try to drink 2 cups of green tea in a day as green tea helps in weight loss by aiding digestion. ·        Avoid red meat like mutton, beef, lamb or pork. ·        Eat sprouts or roasted chana, whenever you feel hungry.

I just want to reduce my weight from 73. 5 kgs to 65. 0 kgs due to avoid taking medicine for Blood pressure which is in at border level 145/100. I am 40 years old. Could you please advise what kind of food should I take. For the last one week I am consuming the following food items. B/F = 1 carrot, 1 Cucumber, one boiled egg and one chapati with sliced apple. Lunch = 1 chapati / 100 grams of boiled white rise with vegetables. Evening = Just Green Tea without sugar. Night = Two chapatis with less amount of Veg Curry. Earlier I consumed more rice items like idly / dosa with Nonveg curry items. But now I am getting stomach pain and facing constipation problem. Please advise.

Hi. Include fibre rich food in your diet for decrease constipation and weight loss problem. You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise. Take 1 glass lukewarm water in the morning and evening. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at the night and don't skip breakfast. Take small meals in frequent intervals. Avoid junk food. Take proper sleep. Avoid pickle, papad, and pouring of salt. You can counslt me privately then I will give you more suggestions.

At your age losing weight is easy provided you know the cause of your weight gain & avoid it. Tips: 1. Brisk walk daily - 1 hr 2. Take stairs instead of lift & walk instead of hiring transport 3. Have light dinner 4. Have small frequent meals at regular intervals instead of 3-4 large ones 5. Avoid sugar, potato, fried & fatty foods, junk/ processed/ packaged/street foods, soft & hard drinks, energy drinks, glucose, ice cream, chocolate, candy, maida, noodles, biscuit,. cake, bread. Instead have plenty of whole fruits & vegetables, moderate amount of whole grains (atta, dalia, suji, bajra, ragi, jowar, oats, barley) & whole legumes (sprouts, soyabean, chola, chana, rajma) 6. drink 3 litres water daily

The key to a healthy and happy life is to keep your body weight under control. Obesity acts as a catalyst to several diseases. Ye, thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Reduce a little of your main meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Take small mid meals instead of two heavy main meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. You cannot work singularly on one body part. Once you work on your overall loss you will lose belly fat as well. Incorporating ab exercises along with other exercises will help too. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Do regular exercise like brisk walking (at least), running, swimming etc. Avoid sedentary and lazy lifestyle. Do not drink water immediately after meals.

Take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Take fresh fruits and vegetables a lot. Take low calorie and low sodium and high protein food. Don't take rice at night. 4-5 meals in a day in a frequent intervals. Take 1 glass of lukewarm water with 1 tsp of alsi powder in the morning and go for walk.
