Sometimes you may notice that your menstrual blood becomes dark brown or almost black as you near the end of your period. This is a normal color change. It happens when the blood is older and not being expelled from the body quickly. Temporary thick, heavy flow isn't necessarily cause for concern. A bacterial infection causes mucus to become greenish-brown. But, more seriously, if your mucus is brown, it might be because it contains blood particles, what means a serious lung infection. Don”t ignore your cough if lasts longer than a few days. See a doctor and describe the symptoms and the color or your mucus.

Give hot fomentation on your lower abdomen at the site of pain when it happens and you can take some pain killers to get relief from it

There is no real need for delaying urination or keep lying on bed after intercourse. These are all myths and have no scientific standing. You need to avoid anxiety and try regularly for at least one full year before you start thinking of any advice.

You have to consider likes and dislikes of both the partners. If one doesn't like some method, you can't force. Better have different position. If oral sex is not possible, that doesn't mean your sex life is not good. Just find another ways to have satisfaction.

So your folks have always been advising, Early to bed, early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise? But, it is so not you. You realise that waking up early has its perks but cannot bring yourself to do it? You must have categorised yourself as nocturnal and left things at that.

Fact is, getting up early morning not only makes you more productive it also makes you less stressful. It is better to start your day on a calm note than rushing to get ready and leave for work. Give your body time to get out of sleep before you begin your daily grind.

1) Sleep is first: Deadline is an excuse. Make it a point to sleep at an assigned hour and waking up at a particular time.
2) Break the cycle: You sleep late, you wake up late and the cycle continues. Break this by forcing yourself to sleep at a particular time. Use simple ways such as having a warm glass of milk before bed, exercising, etc to make yourself fall asleep.
3) Be patient: It is ok to fail. The trick is to keep trying. Your body is used to a certain sleeping pattern and it will take a few days before it can accept a new one.
4) Start small: Take baby steps. On the first day, sleep 15 minutes earlier than your regular time and wake up 15 minutes earlier. Increment it till you reach your goal time.

Bpd 87 mm = 35.5 weeks hc 320 mm = 37 weeks ac 317 mm = 35.8 weeks fl 66 mm = 34.01 weeks as you can see all the fetal parameters are corresponding almost within 3 weeks. This is absolutely normal report. If the head size would have been big, radiologist would have mentioned hydrocephalus or fluid collection in the head. As you did not mentioned something like this, that means hthere is none. Bpd can do upto 9.5cm normally.

My age is 40 years, I have a 8.1 mm cyst on the wall of uterus. Also the my uterus is enlarge (3 times from the normal size). Continues bleeding more then 17 days my Dr. Had send the tissue for biopsy. Is it necessary to remove the uterus in this case please advice.

Hi How blood comes from Vagina. Does pennis inserted is the same hole, in which blood flows while in periods?

Hello, menstrual blood comes out of uterus through cervix and into the vagina, however penis enters the vagina and not through cervix or uterus during intercourse.

I'm 20 years old my periods date is 17/7 but till now I did not get periods so doctors suggested me to take primolut n tablet and the reason for this problem is polycystic appearance in ovaries so if I take that tablet will I get my periods back within how many days I may get ?

Cysts can be seen only with ultrasonography. If its sure abt cysts. Menses will appear upto that time you r taking this med. For regular menses your bodies hormones should be in normal level and menses should appear on its own. Not only with this med.

Missed or late periods happen for many reasons other than pregnancy. Common causes can range from hormonal imbalances to serious medical conditions. There are also two times in a woman's life when it's totally normal for her period to be irregular: when it first begins, and when menopause. Stress Stress can throw off your hormones, change your daily routine, and even affect the part of your brain responsible for regulating your period — your hypothalamus. Over time, stress can lead to illness or sudden weight gain or loss, all of which can impact your cycle. If you think stress might be throwing off your period, try practicing relaxation techniques and making lifestyle changes. Adding more exercise to your regimen may help get you back on track. Low Body Weight Women with eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia, may experience missed periods. I have tried 7 times iui 2 times ivf still my wife has not conceived I am now 40 and my wife 35 her amh now is 2.3 and my sperm count is 20 million I am thinking of now going for once again for ivf which is best centre what precautions should we both take her tubes are patent and no endometriosis or cist also let me know how shall I improve my sperm count

20 million count is normal, provided the morphology and motility are within normal limits. Again, for IUI and IVF, even lower sperm counts are sufficient. SO, you need not worry about your count. Now, AMH is marginal. SO, I think you should consider IVF with ovum donation as after 36 years, the success rate of IVF is lower. Again, she is not having endometriosis, tubal block etc. So, the chance of having pregnancy is good, if ovum quality is normal. All the best.

Autoimmune oophoritis is a rare condition, which provokes ovarian failure with either primary amenorrhea or secondary amenorrhea and a subsequent loss of fertility and ovarian hormonal function . At age of 45 you should go for lipid profile. Blood sugar fasting and post meal. Renal function test and liver function test. Also cbc and serum calcium levals.

The most common position most men favour is the missionary position while others are devotees of the doggy style but some modern men are more flexible and they tend to try out various styles, depending on which gives them or their woman the best form of enjoyment or orgasm.

We all know smoking cigarettes is bad for health but for people with Diabetes, there are even more risks.

"Lung diseases caused by smoking. If you have asthma, tobacco smoke can trigger an attack or make an attack worse. Smokers are 12 to 13 times more likely to die from COPD (long term lung disease Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease) than nonsmokers.”

Smoking puts you at risk for developing many cancers including Lung cancer.

Smoking makes it more difficult to control your blood sugar. And the reason is the NICOTINE.

Nicotine raises levels of hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) by as much as 34%.

HbA1c is a blood test performed generally every 3 months which indicates overall blood sugar control during the previous 3 months. 

Non-Diabetics are increasing their risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes by smoking, for the exact same reasons.nicotine elevates blood sugar levels.

Nicotine replacement products such as patches and nicotine-containing electronic cigarettes, aren’t a safe option as well. ‘Because they still contain nicotine, these products are just as likely to boost A1c levels as cigarettes are.'”
