Frequency of intercourse should be 3-4 times a week for full one year to get pregnant. As you r trying since just 2-3 months, you should wait for another 10 months before you seek any medical help. U can follow calender method to get pregnant early. If a women’s menstrual cycle varies from 26days to 31days cycle, The shortest cycle (26days) minus18days=8th day. The longest cycle (31days) minus 10days=21st day Thus, 8th to 21st day of each cycle counting from first day of menstrual period is considered as fertile period.

I am 34 years old. Since last 2 months my periods were delayed by 10 days. In May it started on 16th. In June it started on 26th and in August it started on 4th. Now bleeding has started on 24th August i. E. Just within 20 days. 2 years Back I had a cyst for which I took medicines and it was cured. What may be the reason in such irregularity in periods?

Dear, you have to be gentle while making love. Be sure at any time she did not contact infection by mishandling or sucking the nipple. Inflamed breast gives pain on touching or fondling. If breast is very tender on touch she may need a course of antibiotics, after you have seen the doctor.

First 8-10 days starting from 1 st day of period are same depending on your cycle duration. I don't think you need to worry. If she does not have period then do a pregnancy test. Don't depend on papaya.

It's better if you use condoms during intercourse. Takin I pill is not safe everytime. It wil affect her cycles and chances of ectopic pregnancy are high and if you both r gonna hv regular intercourse let her have oc pills.

Hello doctor I am 16 weeks 1 day pregnant but I can not feel any baby movement .I am worried please advise me.
Hello! Most primis feel fetal movement at around 20 weeks and mutligravidas feel it around 16 weeks. So if this is your first baby it may benormal. Perception of fetal movement may also be late in obesity. If you are overly concerned, get an ultrasound done.

As penis was there inside vagina for 3 minutes, pre-ejaculatory secretion might get release without knowledge of either of u. That contains sperms in enough quantity to make you pregnant. So it is better to take ipill asap. It can be taken till 5 days, more sooner the better. It hardly cost anything, but can prevent lot of future headache.

Marrying in blood relations should be avoided. Consanguineous couples are at high risk of conceiving a child with a genetic disorder. It produces an increase of the various types of genetic disorders such as birth defects, mental retardation, deafness and blindness. It can create trouble for coming offspring so it is better to avoid it and prevent your up coming generation from diseases. Genetic counselling from a genetic counsellor should be done before the marriage, to find out the diseases that r running in the families and based on which risk of child being born with the same disease is calculated. There are no mandatory or standard pre-marital tests. However, it is a good idea to do some tests for anaemia, thyroid or sugar problems to check your general well being. Other tests would include blood grouping and rh factor, screening for thalassaemia, sickle cell anaemia, hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases like syphilis and aids.

If your cycles is regular, say your menses start on 1st and ends on 5th, then safe period is 6-11 and 18-to start of menses is considered to be safe. But pregnancy can happen any time. Better use condom. It will help you. Thank you.

Its best to see her in person and discuss options and also examine and do tests to see if any obvious cause can be found.
