Don't skip breakfast. Eat regular meals. Eat plenty of fruit and veg. Get more active. Drink plenty of water. Eat high-fibre foods. Read food labels. Use a smaller plate.

Eat a high-protein breakfast. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. Drink water a half hour before meals. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (see list. Eat soluble fiber. Drink coffee or tea. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Eat your food slowly.

Continue to take prenatal vitamins. Stay active unless you're experiencing swelling or pain. Work out your pelvic floor by doing Kegel exercises. Eat a diet high in fruits, vegetables, low-fat forms of protein, and fiber. Drink lots of water. Eat enough calories (about 300 more calories than normal per day).

Hello dear lybrate-user, hi Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* First of all make it clear that with any of the conservative measures with any doctor - fissure will heal completely without surgery but can occur again and again anytime, if you do not take care in diet, get hard stools or other factors.- Your hemorrhoid is not going to be cured without surgery by any way, but it can be under symptomatic control with certain measures as described below: Drink plenty of liquids. Prefer soft, light diet with more of green leafy veg, whole grains, cereals,pulses, legumes,organic fresh fruits. Avoid all types of oily, spicy,non veg, hot beverages, junk foods, dairy fat. Manage to have smooth bowel passage with the help of bulk forming laxativesas Ispaghula husk with lukewarm drinking water. Tab. Ibuprofen (400 mg) after meals for control of pain, burning if no history ofdrug sensitivity. Xylocaine (5 %)jelly application over the anal part gives soothing action. Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes each 3 times a day and additionally after passing stools) helps.Avoid long drives, sitting prolong on hard surfaces. I am diabetic from 12 years. Nowadays glucose level of me is more than normal. Daily walking is approx 8 kms. I have done HBA1C is 7.2% but FBS is 220 and PP is 270. Taking medicine AMARYL MV2 and GALVUS 50 twice a day. But today FBS 216. Please advise me what will I do for normal level.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. At 40 years, HbA1c% should be closer to 6.8%, to say one has good control. From the glucose levels mentioned, it is clear that present treatment is not helping in controlling blood glucose level. Ideally FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Therefore, we need to have a re-look at the present treatment, dietary intake and extent of daily exercise. We may have to change the present drugs or add one or more compounds to the current treatment. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I had physiotherapy for 15 days continuously and was even asked to change my sandal for soft one. After the session, there was no issue for almost a month. Again I have started getting foot pain when I get out of bed in the morning. Please advise.

Hi, for plantar fasciitis, along with the physiotherapy treatment and shoe modification, there are various exercises which you should do regularly for getting complete relief and also for preventing the chances of it happening again. Also, the exercises should be done for both legs even if one of them is not having the problem. Soft sandal is ok, but more specifically you require a complete foot assessment to see if you are having flat feet or low or high medial arch of foot, and accordingly customised footwear and insoles should be given to you. So my suggestion is ask your physiotherapist to kindly do the needful.

Masturbation is not a medical problem. It is a healthy and normal process. Yes, excessive masturbation or addiction to doing it many times a day will cause fatigue, tiredness, sometimes guilty feeling. But this doesn't require medicines. If you are taking medication or help from doctors then it's because masturbation has become an addiction for you and affecting you psychologically. So my advice is try to get rid of this addiction. Masturbating sometimes is completely natural. Just don't make it an addiction. Instead, whenever you have the urge to masturbate, divert your mind. Listen to music, read some good book, Call some friend, go out, eat something, meditate, etc. Gradually you'll see improvement in yourself.
