Me and my gf had unprotected sex but I didn't cum inside vagina and I gave Her ipill within 6 hours . Than later we again had unprotected sex that time also I didn't cum inside her vagina after 10 days and again I gave her ipill . I.e. I gave her ipill 2 times in 10 days . But now she's feeling like vomiting, her stomach is paining, her breast have became tender, and she gained little weight . Please doctors help I am worried about her . Please help . Thank you.

Hello, these are progesterone side effects and she is likely to experience her withdrawal bleeding in next few days which generally occur in next 5-7 days post taking the ipill. As she has taken the second pill before waiting for the withdrawal bleed, hence the effects are more. She should just increase her water intake to dilute the effect of progesterone and use hot fomentation for sore breasts. Once the bleed arises, the symptoms shall subside and pregnancy shall be ruled out was well. If no menses in next few days then get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy, possibly due to ecp failure.

Foods to avoid when Pregnant

Avoid alcohol during pregnancy. Alcohol has been linked to premature delivery, mental retardation, birth defects, and low birthweight babies.

Limit caffeine to no more than 300 mg per day. The caffeine content in various drinks depends on the beans or leaves used and how it was prepared. An 8-ounce cup of coffee has about 150 mg of caffeine on average while black tea has typically about 80 mg. A 12-ounce glass of caffeinated soda contains anywhere from 30-60 mg of caffeine. Remember, chocolate (especially dark chocolate) contains caffeine -- sometimes a significant amount.

The use of saccharin is strongly discouraged during pregnancy, because it can cross the placenta and may remain in fetal tissues. But, the use of other non-nutritive or artificial sweeteners approved by the FDA is acceptable during pregnancy. These FDA-approved sweeteners include aspartame (Equal or NutraSweet), acesulfame-K (Sunett), and sucralose (Splenda). These sweeteners are considered safe in moderation, so talk with your health care provider about how much non-nutritive sweetener is acceptable during pregnancy.

Decrease the total amount of fat you eat to 30% or less of your total daily calories. For a person eating 2000 calories a day, this would be 65 grams of fat or less per day.
Limit cholesterol intake to 300 mg or less per day.

Do not eat shark, swordfish, king mackerel, or tilefish (also called white snapper), because they contain high levels of mercury.

Avoid soft cheeses such as feta, Brie, Camembert, blue-veined, and Mexican-style cheese. These cheeses are often unpasteurized and may cause Listeria infection. There’s no need to avoid hard cheese, processed cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, or yogurt.

Avoid raw fish, especially shellfish like oysters and clams.

Wait for 2-3 months. Yes. But avoid pregnancy and got all tests done like vdrl, hiv, au antigen etc. No particular diet is needed ony she can take folic acid tab once in a day. Routine exercise. No specific exercise fo it.

But later after few weeks I had problem with urine as it was coming with some blood drops and blood cloths, later I went to a doctor and they had taken my urine sample for test and she said I had some infection so she had given some antibiotics and urikind sachet and advice to have plenty of water. But now the problem is that there is one week delay from my periods as it last happened on 27th march and now for today I am having stomach pain and loose motions, and for preventive measures I had taken pregnancy test at the time of visiting my doctor and later on 29th april and it shows negative result. Though sexually transmitted diseases affect a number of people, it is considered a taboo subject and not often talked about. This has given rise to a lot of misinformation and myths about it. Let's clear up a few of these myths.

Myth: Herpes Virus can be transmitted through a toilet seat.
Using the same toilet as a person infected with herpes will not increase your risk of contracting the virus. Herpes spreads only through direct skin-to-skin contact. However, it is a good idea not to share personal care items like towels, soaps etc with a person suffering from an STD.

Myth: STDs are transmitted only through vaginal sex. 
If you are in direct contact with any kind of body fluid of the person suffering from an STD, you can get infected too. STDs can be transmitted through any form of intercourse including oral, vaginal and anal sex. Thus, always use a condom for any kind of sexual act.

Myth: Baby oil can be used to lubricate a condom
In some situations, you may need to lubricate a condom before use. Oil-based lubricants like baby oil, Vaseline and hand creams should never be used to lubricate a condom. This is because they can break down latex and allow STDs to pass through. Instead use water soluble lubricants like contraceptive jellies. You could also use saliva. 

Myth: You can't get an STD if you've had sex only once
STDs like Chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis have a very high infection rate. Having unprotected sex once is more than enough to get infected with the virus. 

Myth: Two condoms are better than one
Condoms are not designed to be layered and used. Using two condoms instead of one may result in the condoms breaking due to the frictions between them. A condom must also be never reused. It should be put on as soon as there is n erection to protect against early ejaculation.

Myth: You can catch an STD only once
Some STDs like HIV and herpes are infections that last a lifetime. Others can be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. However, once you have recovered from an STD you are at the same risk of catching it again as you were the first time. When it comes to STDs like Chlamydia, a second attack can be worse than the first time and cause lasting damage to your reproductive organs. 

The only way to protect yourself from STDs is to abstain from unprotected sex. Hi Gokul. The pain is due to high hormone levels in her body now because of the emergency contraceptive pill. Do not worry. She should get her periods soon. The pain and increased urination could also be due to urinary tract infection. Ask her have plenty of water, 2-3 litres a day. Also get a urine culture and sensitivity done to start antibiotic treatment. All the best

Vaginal Atrophy: What the CLOSER Survey Reveals

Vaginal atrophy (VA) has a great effect on women and their male partners, according to survey results recently published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

It’s possible that these results may prompt more communication about VA between couples and their healthcare providers.

Vaginal atrophy refers to changes in the vagina caused by menopause. When estrogen levels drop, the vagina may lose some elasticity, leading to dryness, discomfort, and pain. Some studies estimate that over half of women experience some degree of vaginal atrophy. However, VA is not something many women freely discuss.

To learn more about how VA affects women and their male partners, a research team from Italy and the United States conducted a survey, which was administered online to 4,100 women and 4,100 men from nine countries: the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, France, Canada, and the U.S.

The assessment was called the CLOSER (CLarifying Vaginal Atrophy’s Impact On SEx and Relationships) Survey.

The women were between 55 and 65 years old and had stopped menstruating at least 12 months prior to the survey. They also had symptoms of VA.
The men were in relationships with postmenopausal women aged 55 to 65 who had vaginal discomfort. They were not partnered with the female participants.

For both men and women, VA/vaginal discomfort were described as, “dryness, itching, burning, or soreness in the vagina, bleeding during intercourse, pain during urination, or pain in the vagina in connection with touching and/or intercourse.”

The survey included questions about vaginal discomfort, its symptoms, and its effects on intimacy, relationships, and self-esteem. Participants were also asked about erectile dysfunction (ED) and VA treatments, such as local estrogen therapy (LET).

Most of the women (72%) said that they told their partners when they first felt vaginal discomfort. The other 28% did not do so, explaining that they were embarrassed or thought their symptoms were a normal part of aging. Thirty-six percent said they would try self-treatment before telling their partner about their symptoms.

The authors noted that the men were more likely to discuss VA than the women were, although they were not always aware that sex was uncomfortable for their partner.

Half the women said they were “upset their body does not work as it used to.” Others reported that they felt old and sexually unattractive. Some lost confidence as a sexual partner and others felt that the symptoms would never go away.

Many sexual behaviors changed as a result of VA. Over half the participants said they had less sex and almost a quarter stopped having sex altogether. Sixty-two percent of the women and 76% of the men said they avoided intimacy.

Fifty-eight percent of the women used vaginal moisturizers or lubricants to alleviate their symptoms. Only 15% of the men knew that their partner was using this type of treatment.

Local estrogen therapy appeared to improve sex lives, relationships, and quality of life. Over half the men and women said that sex was less painful and almost half the women said sex was more satisfying.

The researchers stressed the importance of communication about VA between couples themselves and with their healthcare providers.

They also explained the role of healthcare providers in that discussion. “Because women may not be willing to openly discuss the vaginal discomfort they are experiencing, it is crucial for [healthcare providers] to be proactive in helping women address the issue of VA,” they wrote.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend day before yesterday but he did NOT finish inside me. I took an I pill immediately after that. The day I had sex was the 17th day after my last period (fertile window). Also I suffer from PCOS. Is there anything to worry about? My next period is due on 18th but I am always irregular. Please help.

SInce you have taken i-pill, no need to worry. Your periods can be delayed both becoz of PCOS and I-pill which causes irregular periods.

प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढाए-
भोजन में जायफल मिलाने से स्‍वाद के साथ साथ शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता भी बढती है। इसमे बहु सारा मिनरल होता है और इसके अलावा पोटैशियम, कैल्‍शियम, आयरन और मैगनीशियम पाया जाता है।

चेहरे की झुर्रियां मिटाए -
थोड़ा सा जायफल पाउडर पानी या शहद के साथ मिला कर पेस्‍ट बनाया जाए और चेहरे पर लगाया जाए तो चेहरा बिल्‍कुल साफ हो जाता है और कुछ ही दिनों में चमकने लगता है। इससे पिंपल के दाग भी साफ होते हैं।

शीघ्रपतन और नपुंसकता दूर करे -
जायफल को घिस कर दूध में मिलाकर हफ्ते में तीन दिन पीने से नपुंसकता की बीमारी दूर होती है। यौन शक्ति बढ़ाने के लिए भी इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। इसके चूर्ण और तेल को शीघ्रपतन दूर करने में उपयोग में लिया जाता है।

दांत दर्द -
जायफल का तेल दांत दर्द में बहुत लाभकारी है, तभी तो आपने देखा होगा कि ज्‍यदातर टूथपेस्‍ट में दालचीनी और जायफल मिलाया जाता है।

दिमाग तेज करे-
जायफल दिमाग को भी बहुत तेज बनाता है। इसको खाने से आपको कभी एल्‍जाइमर यानी भी भूलने की बीमारी नहीं होगी।
प्राचीन काल के दौरान, रोमन और ग्रीक सभ्यता जायफल का इस्‍तेमाल ब्रेन टॉनिक के रूप में करते थे। ऐसा इसलिए होता था क्‍योंकि जायफल प्रभावी ढंग से मस्तिष्क को उत्तेजित कर सकता हैं। नतीजतन, यह थकान और तनाव को खत्म करने में मदद कर सकता हैं।

पाचन तंत्र दुरुस्‍त करे-
सदियों से जायफल का इस्‍तमाल पाचन तंत्र को ठीक करने के लिये प्रयोग किया जाता आ रहा है। तो ऐसे में सूप में स्‍वाद बढाने के लिये और स्‍वस्‍थ्‍य पेट रखने के लिये जायफल जरुर मिलाएं।

दूध हजम करे -
शिशु का दूध छुड़ाकर ऊपर का दूध पिलाने पर यदि दूध पचता न हो तो दूध में आधा पानी मिलाकर, इसमें एक जायफल डालकर उबालें। इस दूध को थोडा ठण्डा करके कुनकुना गर्म, चम्मच कटोरी से शिशु को पिलाएं, यह दूध शिशु को हजम हो जाएगा।

पेट दर्द सही करे-
पेट में दर्द हो, आद्यमान हो तो जायफल के तेल की 2-3 बूंद शकर में या बताशे में टपकाकर खाने से फौरन आराम होता है।
अगर आप पाचन संबंधी समस्याओं जैसे दस्त, कब्ज, सूजन और पेट फूलना आदि से पीड़ित हैं तो जायफल प्रभावी रूप से आपको राहत प्रदान कर सकता हैं। जायफल का तेल आंतों से अधिक गैस निकाल कर पेट दर्द से राहत देता है। जायफल के सेवन से भूख न लगने की समस्‍या से भी निजात पाई जा सकती है।

जोड़ों का दर्द सही करे-
शरीर के जोड़ों में दर्द होना गठिया यानी सन्धिवात रोग का लक्षण होता है। गठिया के अलावा चोट, मोच और पुरानी सूजन के लिए जायफल और सरसों के तेल के मिलाकर मालिश करने से आराम होता है। इसकी मालिश से शरीर में गर्मी आती है, चुस्ती फुर्ती आती है और पसीने के रूप में विकार निकल जाता है।

नेत्र ज्‍योति बढ़ाए-
अगर आपकी आंखे लगातार कमजोर हो रही हैं तो आपके लिए जायफल बहुत फायेदमंद साबित हो सकता है। इसके लिए पत्थर पर पानी के साथ जायफल को घिसकर लेप तैयार कर लें। इस लेप को आंखों की पलकों पर और आंखों के चारों तरफ लगाने से आंखों की रोशनी बढ़ती है।
