  1.     Sometimes people eat and drink too much, but they do not gain weight and they look very thin.         Causes of your thinness may be many kind of bad habits or low appetite or digestive system not working properly.
        You may gain good weight and get rid off of thinness by switch off your bad habits or by consuming natural appetisers like ginger before meal or by improving your digestive system to this you can drink lemon/alovera water in morning.

You have to small feeds at regular interval and select exercises that are not difficult for your physical condition.

You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Hi,Gas and acidity is the result of constipation and indigestion.Take homoeopathic medicine to get relief:-1. Gastrobin (WSG), 10 drops+ 1/2 cup of water, half an hour before meals, 3 times a day. *Lycopodium 30, 3 drops once daily in the morning for 7 days. 2. Your weight should be around 70 kgs. Start a well balanced diet consisting of good quality proteins such as curd paneer eggs chicken or fish and also include an hour of exercise. Decrease your carbohydrate intake. Add more fibre to your diet. Your protein intake might be low which results in hair fall.

According to data your bmi is 34.34kg/mt2 and you have hypertention so dietary restriction is not a suitable solution for you. You could plan for bariatric surgery after medical evaluation.

Hi welcome - this is wrong concept. But it is true that banana is a high calorie fruit. Except few specific disorders any one can eat 2-3 pcs upto 100gm-150gm total per day or same quantity banana shake in timely manners. This is rich in potassium, calcium, some more minerals 7 some good vitamins also. This is high calorie effective for sportsman & also who have more dynamic activities.

It all depends on how fit you were when you had your baby,You should take up exercise more gradually if you have had a cesarean, as the first 6 weeks go as a healing phase. Breastfeeding your baby may help you to lose weight, if you also eat healthily and walk for 10-15 min. Breastfeeding burns up to 330 calories a day. You may be feeling very tired, so don't do too much of exercise , too soon. Remember that your body needs time to recover from labour and birth. Give yourself plenty of time to get back in shape, and don't despair if the weight doesn't fall off immediately. With best of health Dr hegde

I am a pure Indian vegetarian. I weight nearly 89kgs. I have low appetite but even the minimum I eat is more of junk food (Cheese toast etc.) I have pizza, pastas once a month at the max. I drink nearly 3-4 litres water a day excluding my cups of green tea and freshly squeezed fruit juices. I feel full and make sure I never starve. Along with all this, I am recently working out, it's stressful since I'm on the heavier side but no complaints to working out, I actually enjoy it. Unfortunately the minute I consume even a small quantity of junk, I feel heavy and my weight goes up instantly. Is there something I'm missing in my diet or my lifestyle? Why is that a small quantity of junk makes all my efforts useless? Please advice.

Go for an evening walk. Don't get me wrong — exercising at any time is good for you. But evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips.

Hi, Give her Ledum pal 30, 5 drops at night and lyco 30, 3 drops in the morning.revert me after 1 week. For weight:- 1. Take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. 2. fatoline drops from Haslab, 15 drops + 1/2 cup of warm water, twice a day. 3. Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. 4.Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. 5. I can't lose my weight. I am doing a gym since last 4 months. I run around 15 minutes on treadmill daily with the average speed of 15. With that I do all heavy exercises daily for one & half hours. Have control mill daily. But In last 4 months I loses only 4-5 kg & even since last 2 months constantly at 100 kg where I didn't gain anything or loses. What is the issue?

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

You should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the evening and morning. Do exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take healthy breakfast like vegetable daliya, upma, poha, oats, corn flakes, stuffed chapati etc. Take salad before meals. In lunch-3 chapati, subji, curd, one katori rice, dal don't use rice at night. Take small and frequent meals. Dinner same as lunch. Avoid junk food. Drink water more.

I have started morning running+walking from yesterday. And when I go today and started running then I was getting pain in my leg muscles. I was not able to run and only walk slowly and come back. But I want to continue it don? t want stop but also I want to release from this pain every day. Want to tell you that my age is 29, height is 5. 1 and weight is around 50 kg. I am not under weight and not over weight but still I have little fat on my waist. I have little belly fat and having two fat wrinkles on my waist. Also my stomach is not flat, I am having belly fat. I want to remove it totally. I am going to get married after 1 month and want to wear lehenga and sari. For that I have to remove my fat. Kindly suggest how can I remove my belly fat and how can I release my leg pain with continue running.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You appear to be a very determined to be bride. Anyway what I understand from your history is that you have 2 issues: one is leg pain and other is belly fat. Your leg pain started because your leg muscles are not used to this kind of load. Normally you should always start with less and increase it gradually over a period of time with regular muscle strengthening. Also you need to do a pre-exercise regime wherein you stretch your muscles and do a light warm up before actually starting to run. Normally it builds up over a period of time, but process has to be a slow and a steady one. Now since you have pain: please start with ice packs, limb elevation, restriction of your physical activity tom as much as possible, gentle otc anti-inflammatory as per your suitability. Your pain should settle in about 5-7 days time. Your weight in any case is not much, so do not worry about burning those extra calories please. Hi lybrate user. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take food two times in a day only 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) try to take liquid diet only for few days 4) avoid oily, junk, fast and fermented foods 5) don't drink water before meal for one hour and don't drink water after meals for one hour. Do yogasan (pacchimottasan, sarvangasan, pavanmuktasan, halasan, bhujangasan) regularly. A) take half tsf of avipattikar churna and half tsf of lavanbhaaskar churna after meals. B) take 10-10-10 ml of ginger juice, fresh lemon juice and garlic juice before meals. C) take 30 ml of bhrungaraajasava and 30 ml of aloe vera juice at night before sleep. Do all these things for thirty days and reply me for further suggestions. Thanks.

Eat healthy. Eat less. Eat often. Don't diet. Don't stay hungry. Keep your stomach filled with water/fruits/salads. Follow these tips. - The best medicine for Weight loss is Simple Diet + Daily exercise. - Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida/Ghee/Salty stuffs from your diet. - Cut down Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice. - Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. Even mild dehydration will cause your skin to look dry, tired and slightly grey. Drink six to eight glasses of water a day - all fluids count towards your daily allowance, but water is the best. If you work in an office, keep a large bottle of water on your desk to remind you to drink. Herbal, caffeine-free teas are good too. Try to avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, both can age the skin.------------

Don't do liposuction. I suggest you some method of losing weight. Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.
