I am 64 years. For the last 2 years I am not able to walk continuously as I stared severe pain in the hip bone on the right side. After resting for few minutes pain subsides. Hello you have to take care of your posture lyk do not stand do not run avoid step up and down avoid cross leg sittings avoid jumping activity apply ice and dolentia relx gel to reduce pain after you can start doing exercise for knee which you can google.

Hi, I am facing muscle pain in the neck back portion, where it joins the skull. I sit long hours and read. Have also found small lumps (maybe be muscle swelling in the same region). Along with this I have developed some irritation in the inner mouth area which are like Small white dots and pain in lower wisdom tooth area Are these things related and what should I do? I hope you are not resting your neck part on the edge of wooden bed without cushion. Not to use semi sitting position while reading-it gives you neck down position. Don't worry go to a physiotherapist and learn neck exercise and have vitamins for mouth ulcers.

65 year old male diabetic since 38 yeras take insulin 2 dose daily 22 morn and same eve. Have concern my underfeet specially toes feel numb daily. Long time problem. Presently heavy phlegm and cough upon sleeping or when exposed to fan or aircon only while lying. Please advise. Sugar levels are 160 fasting. Am weighing 100kg and height 6 feet.

Have vit d & calcium levels checkup Avoid sitting on floor crossed leg & squatting position, even try not to climb stairs frequently Do knee isometrics- lie down & keep towel roll under your knee & press it, hold for 5sec then relax, 20 repetitions each knee, twice daily Straight leg raising- raise your leg hold for 5sec then relax, 10 repetitions each leg, twice daily Sit on high surface with your legs hanging on the side, have about 500grams weight tied to your ankle, then move your leg up hold position for 3sec then relax, 10 repetitions each twice daily. Make sure your back should be straight, it should not move backwards or sideways.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young and have pain at multiple joints. I need to understand whether you have any other symptoms like morning stiffness etc? also have you got any investigations done for you like blood tests or any radiological investigations? if you can get cbc, esr, crp and serum vitamin d tests ( all tests to be done empty stomach) and send all reports across to me, then I can see and advise you accordingly. Till that time: - maintain proper posture at home and at workplace - do intensive physical therapy, you can start initially under supervision of a physical therapist - take a short course of any anti-inflammatory medication which suits you. Do let me know your test results so that I can guide you further. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Merey bethne pr hips par ajib sa pain hai jo pehle kmr pr jyada tha kya ilaaj kru.
Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Piriformis stretch 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

If its 3rd grade tear than definitely you will have to go for surgery either in 1st and 2nd degree you can go for physiotherapy.

1. Get MRI for cervical spine. 2. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 3. Learn cervical exercises. 4. Don't use Pillow. 5. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.
