Would you please explain what an autoimmune disease is? I have been told this is the cause of my arthritis.

I have been suffering from back pain since 3 years. I am not sure but probable cause of my back pain is weight lifted 3 years ago. After that while sitting / standing more than 2-3 hours (or) while doing some specific yoga poses (or) when I lean forward to do something then my back pain suddenly starts. What should I do for recovery?

Use physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises programme to reduce pain and improve mobility. Avoid forward bending and heavy weight and correct your posture. And use neuroforte caps with polytos and q10 nitro caps. Use heat therapy to reduce pain.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – Lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Knee. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

I am having ankylosing spondylitis, and gyming is my hobby but for concerning both these I had to take pain killers (indocap 75sr and ultracet)? now I am little worrying about their side effects. Please suggest. And please tell about any new remedies for ankylosing?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory joint disease which has a genetic predisposition. Since this is a genetically linked disease hence as of now there is no permanent cure for it, but new intravenous medications are available which help in disease control. You need a very active lifestyle with intensive regular physical therapy, take adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation you also need to be in touch of a rheumatologist as it needs a long term supervised care. Ok. Ankylosing spondylitis decreases mobility and flexibility of whole spine which leads stiffness all over body. Do active exercises, avoid all exercises with weight. Join yoga. It will benefit you.

Hello, you hv not mentioned your age, please. Moreover, it is d subject of gaining fats, please tk care of it. Go for a walk in d morning to restore your blood circulation to nourish your whole body including breast muscle. Tk, homoeo medicine: @ chimaphilla 30-6 pills, thrice. Tk care.
