It depends on the ovulatory timing of the female partner too. And as I see the period of gestation in regard with the 1st/2nd/3rd trimester it is possible with the given EDD (expected date of delivery). As long as she is a healthy mother I don't find any abnormalities regarding the given date .might be a week early or a week after the given date. Thank you.

A Pregnancy Is for Both - Father and Mother to Handle

A Pregnancy Is for Both - Father and Mother to Handle

Looking at Prince William holding his young one in his arms, leaving the hospital after the birth of his new born child was a pleasant sight. Men have a very important role in the process of pregnancy and child birth. It's challenging for fathers to be actively involved in pregnancy although no one doubts the fact that some of them become super dads while raising their kids.

  • Research shows that Fathers are needed: Studies have proved that infants whose fathers had minimal involvement in pregnancy were more likely to be born premature and with low birth weight. Sometimes your physical and emotional presence is all that is required during pregnancy. So here let's have a look for role of dad in pregnancy and prepare quarterly roster.
  • Be prepared to welcome the little one: Planning to start a family is a water shed moment for parents and the delivery of the ''Good news" certainly brings along mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness. It's like an examination schedule that has been pinned on the notice board. Husbands have a calming effect on moms in managing morning sickness. They have the responsibility to encourage her for a balanced and nutritious diet apart from planning antenatal visits to obstetrics clinic. They also take care of pregnancy mood swings of her partner because it's the hormones that are affecting and also be conscious and sensitive while making love in pregnancy.
  • Be prepared for all circumstances: Dads need to be prepared to handle the odd symptoms of pregnancy and should find out about what they have should do. They can get references for mood related aspects. You can support the health of your partner by cooking and eating healthy meals together and exercising together. Prepare yourself for moving to a new place. Make a list of the hospitals that are not far and stay in touch always with your wife as it could be bit of emergency anytime. Plan for hospital stay and be a helping hand. Also try and engage your own parents so that they can also be a part of your training for baby care. Attending child birth classes together helps a lot to prepare you for arrival of new born.

Do get actively involved in labour and cord cutting also a father has a lot of role in successful breast feeding. It is best that you get more involved with your wife in the 9 months. The anticipation of a new one coming to your house should grip your imagination. Remember for many parents, it is the best time of their life's.

10 Signs that You are in Labour

10 Signs that You are in Labour

Labour signs are pretty important. This is the time when your baby is ready to come out of the womb. This is the most anticipated yet dreaded moment for a woman. Here is a list of 10 signs that will help you to identify labour symptoms and prepare yourself accordingly:

  1. The baby drops: A couple of weeks before the labour, the baby starts descending into the pelvis. This is the way how the baby prepares the exit. This makes a woman waddle more than ever before. The good thing is that it gives more breathing space to a woman as the lung slowly frees up due to the baby’s downward descent.
  2. The cervix dilates: The cervix prepares for birth too. It slowly starts to open and thin out few days before the baby’s birth. This becomes very evident during the weekly check-up before the birth of the baby. That said, some women tend to dilate slowly.
  3. Cramping and back painWith the advancement of labour, a woman tends to face more cramps in the back and groin. This happens due to the preparation of the joints and the muscles for the baby’s arrival. There is no reason to be tensed as this is a normal symptom before birth.
  4. Loose joints: Relaxin hormone is responsible for making muscles and ligaments to loosen up throughout the period of pregnancy. Before the labour begins, all the joints of the body might feel a little loose. There is no reason to worry since this is the way the body prepares itself for the birth of the new one.
  5. Diarrhea: As the uterus muscles relax, other musles too relax. The relaxation of the rectum muscle can lead to irregular bowel movements. This might feel like a little gross, but from the baby’s birth point of view, this is a very good sign.
  6. Weight gain stops: During the last couple of weeks of pregnancy, a woman might not gain any weight at all, infact weight loss is witnessed during this period. This happens due to lower availability of amniotic fluid. Rest assured the baby is safe and is still gaining weight.
  7. Feeling of tiredness: Feeling tired and exhausted is a common phenomenon during this period. An active bladder along with sleepless nights during the last week can wear out a woman. The trick is to rest as much as one can.
  8. Vaginal discharge: An increased amount of vaginal discharge is typically witnessed during the last few days of the pregnancy. Loss of mucus plug and pinkish discharge through the vagina is a common sign of labour.
  9. Frequent contraction: Contraction becomes a frequent occurrence before the labour. This results from the tightening of the uterus muscles. These contractions don’t go away and start from the lower abdomen. They are more painful compared to the earlier ones.
  10. Water breaks: This is the final sign of labour. But, this is witnessed in less than 15 percent of all pregnant women. Water breakage is instantly felt and is a sure sign of the baby preparing to come out of the womb.

What is best day to have a relationship for pregnancy? My wife has regular period ,sometimes 1 -2 days gets late or early. Or any tips if you can provide? We have tried 3-5 times in 2 years of 5-6 months interval but didn't get result?

Hi, since your wife is menstruating regularly every month + or - 2-3 days, the best fertile period is between her 12th day (counted from the 1st day of bleeding) and 18th day. Try to have intercourse during these days - not every day but on alternate days. If you try this way for 3-6 months, it may work out, provided both of you are free from any conditions that reduce your chances of fertility. It's a good idea to seek help from a fertility specialist, since you are trying to conceive for some time - that too in a not-so-conducive manner. Early intervention can enhance your chances of conception.

I don't want child before 2 year please suggest what I do. And when unprotected sex is safe.
Use condom during sex which is one of safest barrier device, use it regularly. You may also try ejaculation outside vagina which is another way but not the safest to prevent pregnancy....
