Hello, along with your medication take Rauvolfia 1x, 2 tabs daily morning empty stomach. Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Revert after 15 days with feedback.

If you are totally healthy now then just follow routine healthy lifestyle only. Avoid junk food, oily food, bakery foods, packed foods. Eat on regular time. Do exercise in limit that's it.

yes your cholesterol is very high with ldl,vldl, you should be take medicines for it. tab. ecosprin 150 mg tab. atrovas 10 mg at night after meal. take low fat/oily food, alcohol intake ,avoid non-veg., take green veg., whole grain food.

Dear lybrateuser, - Taking garlic after eating something is better as on an empty stomach it can cause acidity - take it about an hour after or before taking your tablet for proper absorption - you can also cut it & mix it with food & have it - avoid fried, salty & junk food to control your BP .

My son is 32 years old and doing job in corporate sector.Their nature of job is fraught with lot of anxiety. On 18 .03 2015 he measured his BP which showed 130/80 in morning 9 o,clock.There after at 12 noon the physician measured it and told that it is 150/90. I understand high BP at this age is very very damaging.Please advise how to control the BP without resorting to medication.Please note that his cholesterol level is 218.

Cholesterol is borderline high. Otherwise his BP appears to be on upper limit and anxious. Cut down cholesterol and Saturated fat. Let him try meditation and relaxation and investigate thoroughlly if he has essential Hypertension and hen need to control diet and exercise and organize a stress managed lifestyle. Yoga and meditation are advisable along with pranayama, If there is dyslipaedemia needs to take medication/ alternative medication available. Check out all investigations /or check HBA!C too and get back to me. There is no medication at this stage. He can follow natural methods and lets see and also reduce weight and take fruit diet/ alongwith.

Dear, To control & maintan BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

She will be ok with some antianginals and dietary supplements. I dont think she may be able to do a stress test. Her vital capacity of lungs is low. She may do some breathing exercises that may benefit her.

Take 15 almonds daily. Also take two spoons of flaxseeds everyday. Do regular exercises. Avoid fried foods, avoid ghee and butter. You will be fine.

1. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 2. Take viscodyne d syrup 2tsf thrice daily 3. You may have to take antibiotic along with it and carry out investigations including x ray of chest after consulting physician, if no relief4. Avoid smoking if you smoke.

Home remedies to Control high BP:-1. Bananas are one fruit that people with high blood pressure can eat regularly to control it. Bananas are a rich source of potassium, which lessens the effect of sodium.So, try to eat one or two bananas daily. Along with bananas, you can try dried apricots, raisins, orange juice, spinach, baked sweet potatoes. 2. Eat one or two crushed garlic cloves daily. You can simply crush them with your hands. Crushing garlic cloves creates hydrogen sulfide, a compound that promotes good blood flow, removes gas and reduces the pressure on the heart.If you do not like eating raw garlic or if it causes a burning sensation, then take it along with a cup of milk. You can also mix five or six drops of garlic juice in four teaspoons of water and take it twice a day.

From last 6-7 year I am suffering from high bp. Diabetic and having thyroid as well. For that I am taking one tablet of ziblok 50 for bp, glimy-1 for sugar and thyroxin50 for thioride, by using this my health is under controll, I want substitute for above in ayurveda. From last three month I have not taken zeblok 50 but my bp is controlled, I am now taking dibicon in place of glimy-1 but iot doesn't work and my sugar level raised to 120-200 kindly advice.

IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consult doctor on time.
