Obisity &oa could cause pain knee. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Rule out diabetes, vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind)1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises. Gradually develop your walking stamina. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

As I Was Feeling Weak And Tired All Day And Was Thirsty All The Time And Was Having Frequent Urination From Last 1 Week I Searched It On Google Why All This Is Happening To Me Then I Came To Know That This All Signs Are Of Diabetes Then I Decided To Test My Blood Sugar Level When I Got My Report My Fasting Glucose Level Was 396.2 And P.P Blood Glucose Was 564.8 In Mg/Dl Units. It Was Very High I Got So Panic I Visited To A Doctor He Gave Me Metformin And Glenmark For 1 Week But I Took It Only For 4 Days Because My Uncle Took Me To A Diabetes Specialist Doctor Told Me To Take Immediate Insulin But I Told The Doctor That After Getting My Report After 3 Days My Blood Sugar Level Decreased To 271 From 564.8 Because I Don’t Wanted To Take Insulin Injection  Doctor Gave Me 3 Types Of Medicine For 1 Month Cyblex M80 For After Breakfast And Dinner, Vildagliptin Tablets Vysov 50 Mg For After Lunch And Zevit Capsules Of Vitamin B- Complex And C With Zinc Sulphate For After Dinner Which I Am Continuing Have This Tables After All My Meals Today Is 25th March, 2016 It’s The 8th Day I Am Having Diabetes My Blood Sugar Level Decreased Now It’s 171  As I Tested It On My Glucometer And I Have Changed My Diet. I Am Still Worried About My Diabetes And I Don’t Even Know Which Type Of Diabetes I Have As Doctors Says I Have To Take Insulin I Had Searched It Comes Under Type 1 Diabetes. Dear, relax. I know it would have been shocking to have found out that you have diabetes but it will help to know that your condition is still manageable. Don't worry about insulin. At times, especially initially, insulin is given temporarily to manage the very high sugar levels. Your doctor may taper off and possibly even stop insulin if your sugar levels respond to oral antidiabetics alone. As of now, it is too early to know whether you will require insulin all your life. So relax. Find out if there was a stressful period in the last few months. As per evidence, diabetes and most other lifestyle diseases are caused due to sudden or gradual continuous tension or worry or at times a debilitating illness. You can try homeopathy which focuses on retaining and stimulating insulin secretion and thereby preventing further progression of diabetes and any onset of complications. With regular use, sugars will be controlled, allopathic medicines reduced at first then stopped. After a time, even homeopathy can be stopped. Once again, don't worry and stay positive.

there is a possibility of a new meniscal tear. if you pain and locking symptoms then its better to get a repeat MRI.

firstly do jogging in morning or only walk...for 1hr atleast 1 or 2 week it makes problem after that its become ur habit. Take a proper diet rich in fibrous carbohydrates proteins and calcium.

Weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. 5. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. 6. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert.

Almond milk is also a great way to put on some pounds. Boil milk with almonds, dried figs and dates. Strain the milk and consume it warm every single day for about a month. Do not throw away the boiled almonds, figs and dates. Munch on them to get all the nutrition.

Hello your w8 might be more please do not stand much more tym and aply ice pack over knee start doing knee strenghtning exercises you can got from google and do not sit wit cross leg sitting also and after pain relive start walking you can walk in swimming pool as wel.

Hi, There are certain yogasanas which will help you to gain weight. Yogasanas for gaining weight: Bhujangasana: Lie flat on your stomach. Place your hands on the side and ensure that your toes touch each other. Then, move your hands to the front, making sure they are at the shoulder level, and place your palms on the floor. Now, placing your body’s weight on your palms, slowly raise your head and trunk. Note that your arms should be bent at your elbows at this stage. You need to arch your neck backwards, in an attempt to replicate the cobra with the raised hood. Hold the asana for a few seconds, while breathing normally. Feel your stomach pressed against the floor. With practice, you should be able to hold the asana for up to two minutes. To release the pose, slowly bring your hands back to the sides, and rest your head on the ground by bringing your forehead in contact with the floor. Place your hands under your head. Then, slowly rest your head on one side and breathe. Repeat this pose thrice for best results. Contraindications: This exercise should be avoided if you suffer from hernia or have had an abdominal surgery recently. This asana should be avoided at all costs if you are pregnant or have a back injury. 2. Vajrasana: Kneel on your knees, making sure your calf muscles lie close together, and your big toes are crossed. Lower your upper body, placing your buttocks on your heels and your thighs on your calf muscles. Place your hands on your knees and ensure your upper body is erect. Breathe normally. Concentrate on how you inhale and exhale. You can close your eyes while you try to calm your mind. It might be a good idea to hold this position for about five to 10 minutes. If you feel a strain or pain in your legs, release the position. With regular practice, you could actually meditate in this position for as long as 30 minutes. Contraindications: It is best to avoid this asana if you are suffering from a knee problem or have undergone a knee surgery recently. If you are pregnant, make sure you keep your knees apart when you assume this position, or you might end up adding stress and pressure on your abdomen. 3. Pavanamuktasana: You need to lie flat on your back, ensuring your feet are together and that your arms are placed beside your body. Take a deep breath and bring both your knees towards your chest, pressing your thighs on your abdomen, while your hands clasp your lower legs, packaging your whole body. Take another deep breath. Lift your chest such that your chin fits into the gap between your knees as you exhale. Hold the position for as long as you are comfortable, adjusting the grip of your hands as you inhale and exhale while you hold. Rock up and down or roll from one side to another about five times before you release the pose. Exhale and release the pose. Repeat the pose thrice, leaving a 15-second interval between repetitions. Contraindications: This asana must be avoided if you have heart problems, hernia, high blood pressure, hyperacidity, slipped disc, back and neck problems, or testicle disorders. If you are in your second and third trimester of pregnancy or if you are menstruating, it is better to avoid doing this asana.

Till then you can try these home remedies. 1) start taking 1 amla everyday. 2) Apply paste of trifla, bhringraj & methi seeds on head before washing & wash after 1 hr. 3) Increase the qty of milk & ghee in your diet. 4) Have a good sleep. 5) Go for shirodhara, a panchakarma treatment for reduced stress & better hair growth 6) Reduce the amount of salt & spices in your daily diet 7) wash hair with trifla & neem kadha 8) Make a Hair pack mixing fine powders of triphalā 50 gm, nāgaramothā 10 gm, methī seeds 40 gm and mehendī or hīnā (Lowsonia inermis) powder 150 gm in water and apply from the root to the tips of the hair. This pack is kept for about 2 hrs and washed clean.

Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals.

My age is 53 years. If after a short sleep say 1/2 or 1 hour I wake up there is a lot of unbearable pain in legs (this problem is there whatever may be my day routine/work). What may be the cause.

Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. 1. Take one tablet of crocin advance sos upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 5. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen and dengue antigen (ns1) test, urine re/me after consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment 6.
