I am 55 years old last month I was in ICU due to loss of Oxygen and CO2 reached my brain. At that time I was inserted with a catheter for urination, at the time of removal the nursing staff pulled out the tube in a bad manner very fast. Now till today I am facing a problem that I am not getting the pressure of urine and it comes in normal drops with pain. Due to which I have to wake up at least 3-4 times in the night and I am not getting proper sleep. What should I do. Please suggest.

Hyperglycemia is a result of multiple factors. Food intake, is only one aspect of it. Insulin secretion. Insulin uptake. Diabetes on conventional management relies only on controlling blood sugars. But over the time, more and more insulin resistance acts up and hence no response to meds are met. Consider homeopathy that focuses on increasing the body's functions and reduces dependencies on replacement medicines as antidiabetics or insulin.

My father is 76 year old having little loose motion for last 2-3 days He took lomid 2 mg today Is this medicine ok for old aged people? Or do you have any other medicine to suggest.

M.D. - Ayurveda, Post Graduate Proficiency In Panchakarma, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda,
Avoid Lomid 2 mg if there is blood in stool. If the loose motions are with blood in stool or it's dark or black in color and/or associated with pain in abdomen take him to a doctor. The patient may need proper antibiotic. If the patient is dehydrated due to 2-3 days loose motions he may need fluid management. ORS may help for restoration of fluids. If nausea is an associate symptom then intravenous fluid management by a doctor is must. Avoid excessive hot or cold beverages. Lomid makes patient drowsy hence take care for the same.

Nosebleeds are quite common. Usually occur in dry and hot weather. Usually they are due to allergy, dryness or trauma. There is no permanent cure for this problem. Pinch soft part of the nose for 5 to 10 minutes and bleeding will stop. Ice application may help.

I am 14 years old. I am masturbating every day day time by seeing porn video. What are dissaeffcts? Is this results in low sperm count?

No it will not cause low sperm count. Masturbation is a very healthy form of sexual outlet, do not feel guilty about it. Once or twice a day is very much normal. Nearly 99% of men and more than 60% of women masturbate. It starts from adolescence and goes on in some people even till death. The pleasure (orgasm) from masturbation is said to be unique from sexual intercourse. In men, most of the liquid contains only water and some fructose and hormones. Hence it does not drain your energy. Many equate masturbation/ seminal fluid loss to lack of energy, impotency and so on. Many quacks, religious heads and pseudo healers also propagate the idea that masturbation is a disorder/ and wrongful behaviour and instil fear on the mind of innocent men and women (we can see posters in train and bus stand, offering help for this behaviour). Consult a psychiatrist, if you have excessive masturbation guilt or compulsive masturbation. Compulsive masturbation is when a person continues with frequent masturbation neglecting his/ her other work like education, job or social obligations. In fact masturbation reduces the sexual tension and helps focus on task at hand better.
