Foods that may reduce symptoms of GERD include: * Protein from low-cholesterol sources such as tuna, salmon, almonds, and lentils * Certain carbohydrates, found in natural fruits, vegetables, and some grains * Vitamin C, for example in green leafy vegetables, may help to reduce symptoms * Fruits such as berries, apples, melons, peaches, citrus fruits, and tomatoes may help * Eggs, despite their cholesterol content, appear to reduce GERD symptoms Fiber in the diet reduces GERD symptoms. The trigger-food diet involves eliminating common trigger foods, such as coffee and chocolate, in order to reduce symptoms.

Hello dear lybrate-user, hi Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* The need of surgery of cholecystectomy depends upon the symptoms.* Primary guidelines in your case - If not much pain, repeated vomiting, can easily manage to avoid surgery at present due to small baby Avoid more of oily, spicy, dairy fat, cholesterol containing stuffs till possible which will help you to prevent onset of gall bladder stone pain. Continue ranitidine tablet as per the doctor`s guidance. Tab. Dicyclomine if more pain.* If more pain on and off, repeated vomiting even after taking care in diet, then decide for surgery. After surgery can give breast feeding to baby within 12 hours without problems. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

AST (SGOT) and ALT (SGPT) are reasonably sensitive indicators of liver damage or injury from different types of diseases or conditions, and collectively they are termed liver tests or liver blood tests. They may mean liver problems or they may not. For example, elevations of these enzymes can occur with muscle damage. So do consult us for the treatment with homeopathic medicines.

Frequent burping may indicate that you are swallowing too much air, or it may indicate the presence of a more serious problem such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, gastroparesis or gastritis, or H Pylori infection. You need to see the food what you are taking. Do exercise daily, avoid spicy, heavy and junk food, avoid alcohol and smoking (if you do) eat salads and sprouts, papaya to reduce gastric problem. Don't be empty stomach, because it will cause acidity which leads to burping. We have good homeopathic medicines, both for reducing burping and acidity, but for that we need to take whole case taking, so that appropriate treatment gets started.

I have rectal pain from the past 10 days and it was severe pain while passing stool and bleeding. I have consulted a doctor and he prescribed some Amoxicillin antibiotic and zerodol tablet along with one stool softener syrup freelex. After 3 days also it wasn't reduced and he gave me another antibiotic with more power along with zerodol. Now it is a bit okay. He says it's fissure and needs surgery. Does it really required? Around 3 years back the same situation has come and I have used drotin tablet along with flagyl 400 based on the prescription by another doctor n it got cured in 4-5 days. Can you please suggest the permanent solution for this problem?

FMAS, MS
General Surgeon, Gandhinagar
Hello dear lybrate-user, Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* Currently there is no need of surgery.* First of all, primary care has to be done with conservative management, when there is no recovery from that (which is very rare) then and then only surgery is mandatory.* Primary guidelines for better recovery. Drink plenty of liquids. Prefer soft, light diet with more of green leafy veg, whole grains, cereals, pulses, legumes, organic fresh fruits. Avoid all types of oily, spicy, non veg, hot beverages, junk foods, dairy fat. Manage to have smooth bowel passage with the help of bulk forming laxativesas Ispaghula husk with lukewarm drinking water. Tab. Ibuprofen (400 mg) after meals morning and evening after meals for control of pain, burning if no history of drug sensitivity. Xylocaine (5 %)jelly application over the anal part gives soothing action. Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes each 3 times a day and additionally after passing stools) helps.Avoid long drives, sitting prolong on hard surfaces. Control of blood sugar, cholesterol, body weight. Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming.* And for your knowledge, fissure can again and again return after full recovery with surgery or without surgery, there is no permanent solution of that anywhere in any pathy of the universe. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

Do regular exercise.. Avoid eating fatty food. Avoid sedentary lifestyle. Don't over eat... And if all these don't relieve then it must be something serious and you should consult immediately... As at this young age this should not happen..
