Hi, Please suggest Knee sound and pain is there any solution to stop the knee sound. Please suggest something for that.
Knee Pain: As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Simple Knee Exercies Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. I appreciate your desire to gain weight naturally without resorting to any medicines or quick fix solutions. Weight gain needs patience and happens gradually with improved appetite and sensible eating. Weight gain needs a healthy wholesome diet with increase in proteins, healthy fats and required carbohydrate intake. Include more of fish, eggs, chicken, nuts and oilseeds in your diet with ample quantity of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals and eat frequently. Do some exercise along so that digestion is good. Take care that you do not have constipation and are properly hydrated. If you need me to help you out with customized online diet chart, please contact us for a direct consultation through Lybrate or write to me.

If your knee is paining since 2 weeks, then you have to rethink whether you had any injury in the previous years. I am following a calorie deficit diet can You tell me in what ratio should I intake carbs, proteins and fats.
Make protein at least 30% of your diet, let carbs & fats make up the rest and avoid processed food. Eat more complex carbs or these foods to control your appetite & to give you more energy to burn more calories during your weight loss workouts.

Hello Doctors, Can you throw some light on this article. I do not agree with this article somehow about Whey Protien. 1. Whey Protien Isolate & Whey Hydrolyzed is good for health 2. Whey Concentrate too is good for health is what I feel. Please let me know. of course too much of anything is not good but limited 2 scoops a day I believe is good and not bad at all. Thank you.

Hello Doctors, Can you throw some light on this article. I do not agree with this article somehow about Whey Protien....
It all depends on protein demand of the body. Normally we do not get protein deficient unless we are doing hard physical work. Just like that consuming processed protein powders though may not harm, but will not have any good effect as well, as they will be just eliminated from the body. Over the long run they do impact kidneys. Hence first take high protein rich whole foods and do higher physical activity.

Protein powder is a dietary supplement for people who are trying to gain muscle through strength-training programs, and it can also be used in weight-loss shakes. Protein is a crucial part of everyone’s diet, and athletic people may even need a little more protein than sedentary people, but using protein in its supplemental form can increase your risk of accidentally consuming too much and causing physical damage. Weight Gain Your body uses protein as energy for its cells, and it also uses it to build muscle. However, your body is limited in the amount of energy and muscle it can store from protein. If you take in more protein than your body actually needs – which is easy to do with protein powder – your body won’t use it to build muscle or store it for later use. Extra protein converts into fat, and your body stores it that way as excess pounds. The body's fat storage capacity is limitless. Dehydration Taking too much of a protein powder supplement can increase your risk of dehydration. When your body metabolizes protein, it uses extra water to properly use and eliminate protein byproducts. If you’re using protein powder to enhance muscle gains through exercise, you’re at an even greater risk of dehydration because exercise induces excess fluid loss through perspiration. Signs and symptoms of dehydration are fatigue, headache, lightheadedness, decreased urine output, dry mouth and excessive thirst. Kidney Problems When your body metabolizes proteins, your kidneys are responsible for excreting protein’s waste products, urea, uric acid and ammonia. When your body produces a large amount of urea, your kidneys may become overwhelmed by their filtering task and begin failing, according to the American Association of Kidney Patients. You are at an especially high risk of reduced kidney function if you have an underlying kidney problem, because your kidneys may already have trouble eliminating protein’s waste products. Osteoporosis Your body produces acid when you consume large amounts of protein. To buffer the higher acid load in your body, your bone releases calcium, and the calcium and acid are excreted together through your urine. Chronic loss of calcium in your urine can weaken your bones and may increase your risk of osteoporosis as you age. You are at an even higher risk of osteoporosis if you are a woman. If you’re still interested in trying a protein powder supplement or following a high-protein diet, consult your doctor in advance to ensure that you don’t have an underlying health problem that could be worsened by supplementation. Once you’re given the thumbs up, find a protein supplement that contains all nine of your body’s needed essential amino acids. Most powders have about 20 to 24 grams of protein per scoop, and the average adult only needs about 46 to 56 grams of protein per day. As a point of reference, one 3-ounce piece of meat contains about 21 grams of protein, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Sometimes being skinny isn't something that you want! Looking slim trim and fit is simply amazing but skinny like cloth hanger is not appealing at all. Gaining weight is much more difficult than losing weight. Diet tips: Proteins: Never let your protein intake go lower than 1g/kg of body weight when you are aiming to add long-term muscle. It's the building block of muscle, and your body is going to be starving for it. Carbohydrates: The best range if between 60 and 80 grams of carbohydrates at each meal. Carbohydrates are the body's energy source! Make sure your body has the energy it needs, or again, it will deplete your existing muscle and you'll be back to the stating lint. Have six meals in a day, three big meals and three small. Breakfast, lunch and dinner should be heavy and calorie rich. Eat food like butter, fresh juices, red meat, milk, etc
