Whisky will do no good for your health. It's certain that it will harm you to some extent, harm may be very little or it may be extensive over the time. Liver, kidney, intestine, Heart and brain - all are affected in varying degrees depending on the quantity and frequency and duration whisky intake. I personally don't want to hurt you love and affection for whisky but being a Physician and well wisher for fellow human beings I am doing all this.

The medical name for low blood pressure is hypotension. Hi lybrate-user. What is your height? There are no miracles that can happen overnight, if it was possible in such a short span of time all the men would be body builders. Don't fool yourself. It's possible to gain weight but you need yourself and your body some time. Will help you with some tips but this will help you over the time. 1.start doing strength training exercises 2.eat diet rich in protein - sources of protein are milk n milk products, soya bean, paneer, tofu, eggs, cheese, chicken and fish. 3. Start having whey protein post exercise and banana shake pre workout. Have calorific dense foods like nuts, seeds, banana, chicoo etc.

Cut or atleast reduce carbohydrates - rice, wheat, sugars, biscuits. Replace with millets and vegetables. Include lots of raw vegetables and low glycemic fruits. Avoid milk if possible. Diabetes is condition where the body is not able to break down high carbs fast and easy. So taking a lot at one time, will increase the load on an already weak system and thereby increase sugars. Hence, focusing on how to eat is more important than what you eat. Eat little at a time. Eat at 2 hr intervals. Walk to stimulate metabolism. Meditate or indulge in any calming excerise to help you refresh and become positive. Stress is the first reason, our body becomes weak and prone to diseases easily. Start by destressing.

Hello lybrate-user, Include Calories In Your Diet eat foods that are rich in calories like pulses, cereals, meat, bread, rice, dry fruits, and nuts. Add vegetables like French beans, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, carrots, lettuce, spinach, asparagus, pumpkins, and eggplants to your diet. Add a healthy portion of red meat to your diet too. But keep in mind not to overdo it. The aim is to add weight, not cholesterol. You can even add olive oil in generous quantities to your salads. Another way to add calories to your diet is by increasing the consumption of dairy products. Don't cut back on the fat content in your milk. Do not ask for low-fat curd at the store. Make sure you consume a full calorie dairy product. Foods rich in calories and proteins easily help people gain and maintain weight as opposed to other foods Increase The Number Of Meals, Have six meals a day – three big meals and three small. Hi, Basically taking coffee nor tea very frequently is bad for health, in a way all the stimulants are bad. It is not advisable to take both, but if you are unable to avoid _ start reducing the frequency of taking it and according taper it and stop using. I am not advising here to take plain milk either.

Not gaining weight has to be seen in some context. Otherwise it's not a big problem. Please mention your height and weight. Focus on eating a healthy food and exercise everyday. This will make you fit and energetic. You should also go for a routine check up with a doctor and get some basic tests done (CBC, ESR, thyroid levels, Blood sugar, Liver profile, urine tests etc). You can update the reports later for further clarification.

White Vs Green Tea - Which One Is More Beneficial?

When it comes to health benefits, green tea has been an undisputed winner for a long time. It is a must have for all health conscious people. For many people, the day starts and ends with a cup of green tea. However, of late, its position and popularity have been challenged. With its health benefits, white tea is slowly but steadily finding its way into the lives of people.

Now the obvious question is; which one of the two (green tea or white tea) is better? While some loyal fans swear by green tea, others have genuine reasons to opt for white tea. To know more about their benefits, one first needs to know, what are green and white tea?

Green tea and white tea are both extracted and processed from the same mother plant, Camellia sinensis. White tea is manufactured using the young buds and leaves. Green tea, on the other hand, is manufactured from the older leaves of the plant.

Also, green tea undergoes more processing compared to the white tea. In the case of green tea, the leaves are first withered, followed by steaming or frying (pan frying). Next, there is rolling, shaping, and finally drying of the leaves. In the case of white tea, the processing is simple and involves steaming followed by drying of the leaves.

The health benefits of green tea Vs white tea

  1. The antioxidant capacity: Both green tea and white tea contains a phytochemical, Polyphenols, which has antioxidant properties. In addition to the weight management, this antioxidant is known to protect the body from cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, and even cancer. Research suggests the phenolic content, and subsequently, the antioxidant capacity is higher in white tea as compared to the green tea.
  2. Protection from UV rays: The harmful effects of UV rays are known to all. Research suggests that both green and white tea are at par (photoprotection ability) when it comes to protection from the harmful UV radiation.
  3. Anti-carcinogenic property: When it comes to cancer-fighting ability, white tea earns the brownie point. Undergoing less processing as compared to the green tea, the antimutagenic and the anti-carcinogenic properties are higher in white tea.
  4. Mood enhancer and stress reliever: Many studies suggest that white tea has a slightly higher caffeine content compared to the green tea. Thus, white tea will have a better soothing and refreshing effect than green tea.
  5. A younger looking skin: Both white and green tea play a pivotal role in slowing down the aging process. However, White tea contains a higher content of polyphenols (due to less processing) and is believed to have a better ability to prevent the breakdown of the elastin and collagen than green tea. The EGCG or EpiGalloCatechin Gallate (lowers the aging process) is also higher in white tea.
  6. Weight Management: When it comes to weight management, both white and green tea exhibit almost similar effects.
  7. Anti-inflammatory property: The anti-inflammatory property is slightly higher in white tea than green tea. White tea, thus, helps to suppress the activities collagenase, elastase, and oxidants (enzymes responsible for Rheumatoid arthritis) better.

Diet Plan Early morning- 30g dry fruits Prebreakfast- One banana Breakfast- Milk and 4to6 egg whites and a toast Or Paneer roti and curd 10-12 Soy milk and 5 almonds 12 to 1 Boiled black chana or sprouts Lunch- 4whole wheat roti and green vegetable and curd or Rice, 2 to 3 katori and any dal, 1 bowl or Idli and sambhar or Dosa and sambhar 3-4 Lemon water again 5 to 6 Apple or any seasonal fruit 7 to 8  Banana shake and figs or dates Dinner- 3 to 4 chapatis and Any vegetable or dal.
