I was suffering from constant moderate pain in my hip area so I went to the doctor and he told me to do abdomen sonography and it showed that I have kidney stones of 5 mm in mid pole region of my both kidneys so the doctor gave me one month course of medicine and he told me that the stone will pass don't worry. After that, I took the medicines for one month but nothing happened the pain was the same. So I again went to doctor and he told me that possibly the son got shifted in either ureter or bladder so I went for X-ray KUB and it showed that there is no stone in either ureter or bladder I had also taken painkillers but nothing happened even the doctor cannot determine what the actual problem is I had kidney stone problem in past but the pain was different the pain was severe and in the back area. So what is the problem since the stone is in the kidney and I feel pain in my lower region. The pain is because of kidney stones or something else. Please help.

Renal calculi are not just the stone found in the kidney, but it is tendency of stone formation which has to be addressed and the cause behind it is metabolism. Whatever metabolism is disturbed tendency of stone is form of uric acid, oxalic acid and calcium. Homoeopathy towards correcting this metabolism their by curing the tendency of stone formation. IT also works on dissolving the stones, manage acute colic of stone, drink more amount of water so if you want a customized treatment strategy .

Dear lybrate-user You have obstruction on one side by a large stone which can potentially harm that kidney. Also such a large stone is very unlikely to pass out on its own. An appropriate treatment option would be surgical stone removal. Please consult a urologist at the earliest to get proper advice and treatment.

Hi, lybrate-user. Don't worry. your problem looks minor one. From your history it looks like fissure in ano with sentinel tag. You need a clinical examination to confirm it Then to proceed with it.

Dear lybrate-user Since you have lupus nephritis your CKD is likely to progress over time. You need regular follow up with your nephrologist to monitor progression and modification of medications with time. Apart from creatinine, potassium you have to target Hb, calcium, phosphorus, uric acid, Urine protein and RBCs, and bicarbonate. Dietary precautions are also very important. I hope your concerns have been answered. Regards.

Dear lybrate-user, For a 10 mm stone in ureter the more appropriate approach would be to remove the stone by surgery. Please consult an urologist at the earliest for proper treatment. Obstructive stone in the ureter can lead to permanent damage to that particular kidney. I hope you get the right kind of treatment and advise.
