I'm 23 male, my ultrasound whole abdomen report reveals "fatty infiltration of liver" what does it mean?
Include these 5 simple Ayurvedic herbs in your life to keep your liver healthy and happy. 1. Kutki This bitter tasting herb is cooling in nature and has a cleansing effect on the liver and gallbladder. In Ayurveda, kutki is prescribed to improve appetite and to treat jaundice or bile disorders. The herb is beneficial in skin disorders and to improve metabolism. You can take one Jiva Kutki tablet each day for a healthy liver. 2. Turmeric The yellow herb supports liver functions and cleanses blood. It can also aid the process of transforming rasa into rakta. It also promotes elimination of toxins from the body. In most cases you do not need to take any additional turmeric if you already use it in your meals. 3. Guduchi Guduchi is known for its detoxifying and blood cleansing properties. Ayurvedic herbal medicines prepared for liver problems contain guduchi. The herb also has known benefits in treating Kamala (jaundice), hepatitis and fatty liver. Guduchi should be taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic doctor. 4.Triphala The mixture of amla, bibhitaki and haritaki helps in regularizing metabolism and bowel movements. It cools down the body and balances pitta and kapha in the body. Triphala churna can be taken by anyone every night before bed. 5.Aloe vera Aloe vera juice flushes toxins out of the liver (hepatoxicity) and promotes good bowel movements. In addition to soothing the digestive system, aloe vera also fights stress and strengthens the immune system.

Here are some effective home remedies: Daily intake of buttermilk (chaach) is extremely beneficial. Drink 100 ml of buttermilk with black pepper and salt at least twice a day for three months. Radish (mooli) is also an effective home remedy for piles. Adding it to your meals will give your relief to a great extent. Make a paste of crushed til (sesame) seeds and butter, apply it over bleeding piles as an external measure. Half a spoon of til seeds with water can also be taken orally by those suffering from internal piles. Crush 11 rose petals in 50 ml of water or milk and have it for a week on empty stomach. It’s a good remedy for bleeding piles. Haritaki (harad) is a useful fruit to cure constipation. Take two spoons of powdered harad with gur (jaggery) at bed-time. Triphala is also an effective remedy for piles. Take 2-3 spoons of Triphala powder before going to sleep for a few months and you should notice a difference. While these are all short term remedies, we strongly recommend visiting a doctor for a proper diagnosis of the problem. It is only with complete and long-term treatment that you’ll be able to find freedom from this condition.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - 1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor gastroenterologist and to confirm exact cause do few investigations like Capsule endoscopy, MRI scan 2) Do take prescription medication like Cipro and Flagyl and other medications will be added after investigation report only. 3) For mild pain, you can take paracetamol only. 4) Add iron and vitamin B complex regularly. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Try to limit dairy products and use an enzyme product such as Lactaid. 2) Try avoiding butter, margarine, cream sauces and fried foods. Limit fiber, such as fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. 3) Try to avoid other problem foods. Spicy foods, alcohol, and caffeine etc. 4) Eat small meals.
