For weight gain, no need to take any kind of medicine you should focus on your dietary pattern, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories like pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins can take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. Go for exercise. Include more protein rich food in your diet as well as carbohydrate intake. You should take frequent meal, include combination of dry fruits, seeds in your diet.

For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and don't take heavy meals. Firstly try to improve your digestion process if you are taking normal diet and you are facing the problem then you should go for liver function test. In diet include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. If you want to gain weight, then I would recommend you a easy diet plan, Do some exercise also, it will help you to gain weight. No needs to take any supplement. Diet Plan: 1. Taking proteins depend upon your exercise level. Just by taking whey, one does not gain muscles. Also if you are a beginner, you should focus on basics. After one has achieved a basic level of fitness, they should start supplements to reach next level.

What Are The Possible Causes Of Shoulder Pain?

Anyone can get shoulder pain, and the cause might be simple to serious. You may get shoulder pain because of minor injury, carrying too much weight on the shoulders, poor posture, and any underlying health condition. Sometimes the pain comes and goes on its own without any need of taking medicines, but at times, it becomes difficult to treat them.

Conditions which may lead to shoulder pain may include rotator cuff disorders, instability of shoulders, frozen shoulder, broken arm, broken collarbone, and acromioclavicular joint problems.

The following are a few common causes-

1. Rotator cuff disorder:

A rotator cuff is a group of tendons and muscles which surround the shoulder joint. Tendons are hard and rubbery cords that link muscles to bones. The rotator cuff holds the joint in the right position so that it can move in a desired and controlled way. There are different types of rotator cuff disorder, and each of them leads to various symptoms. But common aspects of the problem include:

  • Pain which starts worsening during activities involving the arm above shoulder level. This may include brushing the hair.
  • Pain occurring on the front side of the shoulder which tends to worsen during the night
  • Ache that occurs on the front and side of the shoulder

Different types of rotator cuff disorders and their characteristics are as follows:

  • Tendonitis and bursitis- Tendonitis refers to the swelling of tendon while bursitis is inflammation of the bursa. Bursa is the fluid-filled sacs that are typically placed on the joints and in between bones and tendons.
  • Tears- A torn tendon or muscle cause possible weakness and severe pain in the arm and shoulder. Some people also feel a popping sensation when they move the shoulder.

2. Shoulder instability

The shoulder is a type of ball and socket joint and shoulder instability takes place when the ball part of the shoulder fails to fit in correctly in the socket. It can range from catching or slipping feeling to total shoulder dislocation where the ball entirely comes out of the socket.

3. Frozen shoulder

Also referred to as adhesive capsulitis, frozen shoulder is a painful and persistent stiffness present in the shoulder joint. This makes it very difficult for carrying out the full range of normal shoulder movements. Frozen shoulder takes place when there is swallowing, thickening, and tightening of the flexible tissue which surrounds the shoulder joint. This doesn’t allow enough space for the upper arm bone or humerus in the shoulder joint and makes shoulder movement painful and stiff. A person affected with frozen shoulder may find it difficult to carry out the daily chores such as driving, exercising, and sleeping in a comfortable position. Some people may find it absolutely impossible to move their shoulders at all. The symptoms of frozen shoulder can vary to a great extent, but it starts advancing at a gradual pace.

When left untreated, shoulder pain may or may not worsen. When it does worsen it is important to see your doctor.

Hi, Include whole grain cereals, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits, Whole milk and other dairy products, lean meat, fish, egg, whole milk. Avoid refined flour, red meat, oily and fat foods, junk food, sugary foods, alcohol, butter, ghee. Stay hydrated all the time. You have to do exercise/ workout in order to get rid of extra calories if any. For your post workout meal include oats with milk, paneer, skin out chicken (stewed preferably), fish (salmon, mackerel, tuna), egg white, sprouts, quinoa as they all are rich in protein. Consider taking olive oil, almonds, dry dates, green tea as they help you relieve your stress and build up strength and immunity. You can go with any one of the above according to your wish list. Its better a take a pre-workout snack which consists of carbohydrate, it can be a fruit, a breakfast cereal in a limited quantity, milkshake without excess sugar. It is not necessary that you have to stick to the same regime, you can change it accordingly but you have to see that the options are healthy and mind your portions to avoid fat deposition in your body.

Hello lybrate-user, The distance you have mentioned is perfectly okay, if and only if your body can take it. Since I don not know your present weight and height and age, I will not be able to tell you the exact parameters. Otherwise, most of the time it is preferable first to start with 1 or 1.5 km per day then slowly slowly per week or so to increase 0.5 km. Hi, divide your meals in to 6 portions which is breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, evening snack, dinner and bed time snack. Include whole grain cereals, pulses, fruits and vegetables. If you have bloating/flatulence avoid whole milk and legumes and take skimmed milk/ soya milk. Foods like dry dates (5-6), almonds (5-6, raisins (8-10), oats porridge (with out milk), flaxseeds help you to build strength and immunity. If you are tolerating non-vegetarian food include fish (trout/sardine/tuna/salmon in stewed/baked), lean meat, skin out chicken in small quantities. Include fruits like banana, apple (stewed), cooked raw banana in case of constipation. Use Buttermilk and curd as tolerated as it aids you in good digestion. Avoid masala, chilli and strong flavouring foods as they might have negative impact over your digestion.

Hello, Usually, if we convert our height in centimetres (cms) minus hundred gives us our ideal body weight according to our height. Now since you haven't mentioned your height, weight or age I will not be able to tell you what is suitable for you, but I guess the above will be helpful to you. For further specifications you can try calculating your BMI (can be readily available online) or you can yourself calculate it with the formula. But the main thing is, for not to be obese we should always maintain a BMI between 18.5 to 23.99, below 18.5 is believed to be under weight and above 24 is believed to be over weight or obese and 24 is the ideal.
