I have suddenly developed blocked vocal cord from the last day. I am unable to speak properly. Neither my tonsils nor my pharynx is inflamed. Why can't I speak properly?

Good Morning ~ If you have been shouting very much lately or speaking in loud voices you may have aseptic laryngitis which is usually the case of loss of voice. However, it is temporary and usually gets better with voice rest, steam inhalation and soothing lozenges. You can start speaking properly in a couple of days, if it persists beyond that please consult with an otorhinolaryngologist or an ENT specialist.

May be infection deeper into pharynx or excessive vocal abuse like screaming or pollution.
