Perhaps you meant gastritis. Its a condition related to stomach. Usually occurs when the stomach has more acid production in it. Resulting in inflammation of stomach lining. Symptoms like upper abdominal pain /heartburn/vomitings if this acidity is not controlled enough it can lead to complications such as ulcer, bleeding ulcer, anemia reasons behind this excessive acid production are infection by bacteria called helicobacter pylori, abuse of pain killers, alcoholism etc.
