My mother is 45 years old. She have a burning sensation on tongue for the last 2 years. We have tried many medications prescribed by various doctors but all in vain. She is very depressed and spend almost all day in crying. She now started to talk things which have no meaning at all. Can any doctor provide details about the treatments.

Burning mouth syndrome presents with a main complaint of an intra oral sensation of burning, tingling, or stinging and sometimes accompanied by taste disturbances or dry mouth. Apply Dologel initially. Later, I can prescribe stronger dose medications if it doesn't subside
