So, I have an abscess on anus, can be seen only when I prolapse anus and I was under homeopathic medicines by doctor and, still developed pus. Now, what to do? The doctor is saying. Drain the pus, with water, he said now not possible to dry it up. Man! am I definitely going to get a fistula now? If I just drain it with warm water, will it still form fistula? Please tell me it doesn't. It is so small and I definitely don't want a surgery. How should I drain it? Until when. Help!

Do as the treating surgeon advised. In case of abscess in majority of cases, surgical drainage is required as antibiotics have little effect on accumulated pus. If you drain it using any sort of warm water application, there will be more chances for fistula formation. Size of abscess is technical matter and highly subject. Consult a surgeon and follow his advice.
