Not at all; it is a figment of imagination. I don? T know where you read this, but that source is highly incorrect, and dubious. Do you have only symptoms of bipolar or are you a full-fledged patient on medication? At any age, if you are under treatment with therapy and medication, and if you are episode-free for at least three years, then you can be weaned off of medication and see how you react. I have not heard of spontaneous remission from this disorder, ever, at all. Please discuss these bits of information with your psychiatrist before coming to any conclusion. You might inadvertently go with incorrect information and do things that might compromise your treatment and lead to a relapse to a worse condition that may remain irreparable.
