Hi, I am male and 21, currently taking mirtazapine for over a year and a half. For the past couple months i?ve been having very bad sleep paralysis, well it?s not the normal ?can?t move see a figure thing? but more so eyes open, complete inability to move which then becomes a very hard mental and physical challenge to lift my arms, jolt my body, and get out of it. Not sure if this is ?sleep paralysis? but i?ve had to multiple times over my life, it?s just a lot more apparent these days.

Dear lybrate-user, it may be sleep paralysis, the best remedy for you is to practise correct sleep hygiene measures. That is go to bed at same time everyday, keep the room dark, do not watch tv before sleeping. Read a book and get up at the same time.
