Hello, yes!when there is a food lodgement between crown/ cap of rct treated tooth & normal tooth, if we are unable to maintain hygiene between 2 tooth then there are changes of getting cavity with normal or non rct treated tooth. 2nd reason while selecting crown, during crown cutting patient fails to select "die preparation" option given by dentist. Always select die preparation option on master cast, so that it will be easier for lab. Person to see finish line of your crown preparation from all side .while making crown he/she will able to maintain "embrasure" as like in between two natural teeth. To avoid food lodgement in future. How to maintain? After every meal rinse nicely, do flossing. Brush twicely.
